DESCRIPTION
The Confederacy First movement caused quite the stir on the Galactic Scale, as once unrestricted travel became tightly controlled, and enforced by military warships seemingly overnight. It wasn’t good for business, for anyone. Therefore the Republic Engineering believed that it was their Corporate responsibility to equip the various Spacer’s across the Galaxy with a capable Vessel - designed to get their Cargo, or Passengers to one side of the Galaxy to the other in record time. Whether or not their Route carried them through Confederate Blockades was not for Republic Engineering to say.

They merely provided the means in which to swiftly, and safely transport Goods from one point to another.

This capable Vessel was outfitted with many of the advanced systems that have become standard amongst many Republic Engineering designs. As such, the Rhapsody was equipped with a heavily automated and networked computer system that significantly reduced the Organic Crew Complement, and increased the Ship’s handling efficiency. In addition to this, the Transport had an integrated Countermeasure suite that was comparable to Military-grade systems, that all worked together to ensure that the Ship’s systems remained within authorized hands.

What made the Rhapsody stand out from the rest of Republic Engineering’s competitors, was the integrated and automated cargo containment system. Not only was the Corvette capable of ferrying Cargo beneath its superstructure with magnetogravitic shielding, but the Vessel was capable of carrying additional Cargo within the Hull as well. While many Ships would have to dock within a pressurized environment to transfer their Cargo between the Interior Bays and the External mounts. However, through the magic of automation the Rhapsody was capable of shifting it’s freight between both Ports whilst in flight via self-contained magnetic fields, auto-loaders, and conveyor belts.

While this automated system was a boon to the Logistical realm, it also proved to fail when submitted to high-powered EMP devices and Ionic weapons. Which in turn would disable the magnetic fields and possibly lose a good portion of the external Cargo that was gravitically bound in place. However, with the redundant systems and reinforced Ion shielding sought to ensure that such an eventuality never happened.

Thus, with the Rhapsody in hand, Spacer’s across the Galaxy would see their deliveries made on time, or given the chance chart new routes to ensure that their goods got to where they were going.

I am going to approve this, however I will note something I saw in this one and one previously listed here.

Both of these have a Hanger Allocation of None. I debated a bit and unless John Locke, my Mentor Judge decides otherwise when reviewing this higher up, I believe that can be allowed. It is literally zero and while I would still suggest to give the full Starfighters/Support Craft: 0, I believe this is acceptable.

If not John Locke, hit me with a very large newspaper.

Approved, awaiting Mentor Approval.
