Description
The Bakunawa was the first real ship constructed by the Rapora Demarchy and by Claydoish Designers. By utilizing the old and abandoned technology on their planet, they had made several attempts to understand, and learn to work the technology left behind. Through countless attempts to integrate the abandoned hardware, the Rapora Demarchy finally made the decision to scrap what was available to make their own custom ship, with function and design that they could understand and ensure would not malfunction. The Bakunawa is the first ship ever created by the Claydoish species, however they aren't entirely a united people, so it has taken a long time to have many of the inhabitants agree on a joint venture such as this.
The Bakunawa uses outdated technology, and the limited science field of the Rapora Demarchy has mostly invested as much as they can into weaponry for self defense. This unfortunately causes the Bakunawa to have limited or substandard systems. However, because of their nature and biology, the Claydoish had to develop a life support and environment system that would sustain them in space, as it was hard enough to understand the Sith Imperial technologies left behind, worse to find out that they couldn't quite push the life support systems to what they needed to be to sustain Claydoish life.
