The Wookiee Chy'ran'till, an old comrade of Rhea's instructors, sought her out, her own rage a perfect match for the new unit's purpose. The final piece was the enigmatic Sephi, Lyrielle, who saw in Rhea's vengeful drive an efficient tool for her own ancient vendetta against the Sith.
This was the original, five-pilot Reaper Squadron operated as mercenaries, their success hollow but their bond real. The betrayal of Lyra, manipulated into leading them into a Shadow Wing ambush, did not break them; it destroyed them. The squadron was decimated, Rhea the only one able to survive and rescued by Strike squadron.
