The jedi master stood there while he breathed out letting his senses expand to feel with the force. Here in the mountains she had given it all a chance to better understand and work on some parts of it. He was looking to after his padawan Nagate and Ronin had become skilled knights. They would be able to teach other jedi for themselves. He was then afterwards looking for a new padawan to be able to padawan to teach. He was leaving it open and some of the new one had been given the location to come and meet him to learn.

Standing there overlooking the area leading to the temple and letting himself channel the force into her hands as the electric judgement crackled and compressed itself between his hands. He moved slowly in place and was letting it compress etween his hands while prepared there for a moment. He was wearing the armored robe pants with a nod of his head and his sabers were on his hip before the force reached out and allowed him to feel the force signatures of the others across the planet itself.

Tempest sat stiffly erect upon the edge of her bedside in the early morning hours within the Padawan barracks. Until recently, while she knew many others, she and her Master had lived apart from the community, on privately owned property. Absentmindedly, she turned a small silver amulet over in her palm, before dropping the blackened tarnished chain down over her head. Her old Master had become stricken by the plague which brought the Galaxy to its knees. It didn't kill him, only rendered him lowly to a vegetative state. The amulet was the last adornment he passed to her, before he required constant hospice. Her mind drifted to how he had doted upon her so very much, how he took upon himself the role of her father, with whom he had been good friends, before her father's murder.

The sound of others rousing for their lessons snapped her back to the present. Tempest reached down and pulled on her boots before heading out the main doors into the early dawn, her robes drawn tight around her shoulders. After some time alone, time she had needed to accept her situation and that her Master at his age may never recover, she accepted that life must go on. Jedi suffer at times. Their dedication to a better existence is always needed. The young Padawan re-avowed her commitment and put out a request for further training. She had received word to meet with her new Master today. She does not yet know anything about him personally.

The majesty of the mountain range and that of the ancient Temple caught her eye and she paused momentarily to drink in its wonder. It stood as a testament to the best the Galaxy can be, a stark contradiction to the reality of its current state.

She rounded the back of the Silver Temple to the court yard near the lake. The sun just banked over the horizon, sparking a glimmer among the waves. It must be a good day for a new beginning. Tempest was taught to always be punctual; she would not insult her old Master by forgetting his lessons so soon. She sat down on a stone bench overlooking the land. Soon it will be time to let all this beauty to fall into the back of her thoughts.

It was not long until the Temple and the surrounding grounds came alive with Jedi, some looking to find their way, others knowing it already. When others began to gather in one place, and Tempest felt someone reach out beyond himself, she rose too.

Ah there was the feeling, he could just make it out and it was familiar to him while he looked around. Allowing the force energies to channel outwards and make more of a field. The jedi master had spent a great deal of time mulling things over and to the blind it wasn't exactly something to see the beauty ut the old master was more then able to really work at it. To really push and have the power before he crossed his arms with a grin on his face, sending the force out so that his padawan would be able to find him here after a small trek through the area and up the path of the mountain.

That just meant early morning was an important thing before moving around here. his hands clasped bbehind his back until the jedi master was looking around. The old man was there inside but the body he had was something young looking. Being much like Son-Jan in that he was nearly one thousand years old while looking somewhat like a teenager compared to many of the others. With the small look on his face until the jedi master focused entering a meditation itself so that he would be able to wait for the padawan to arrive. He wasn't worried about the time it would take for her to arrive.

It was a strange feeling, like a game, a game that would determine destiny. The others who arrived in the same place suddenly started to scatter away from where she felt lead to continue on. She trekked her path alone, but she did not doubt that wherever it is she shall end up, shall be exactly where she is expected to be. It was a faint assurance, but one she is very familiar in identifying. The light always drew her curiousity. She found needed comfort in it always.

She picked up her pace, wondering if maybe she might afterall be keeping a Jedi Master! Tempest late for the very first time in her life, and during a very first meeting! Sometimes you just know something will be so. 'Why you and not the others?' she wondered of herself. 'Maybe after all the bad things that happened, its just time for good things now.' Tempest never turns down a gift. And there is so much to learn here! Uphill she did not find so much fun, however.

The tug in the Force lead her to find someone indeed ahead of her within the clearing. Tempest quieted her pace and walked right up to him. "How is it you call for someone specifically whom you have never met?" she asked him directly. Instantly noting that he is blind, she found his accomplishment even more amazing.

The jedi master didn't move, he had been picking her up on the edges of his senses and when she got into the field he was using like other miraluka there was an unfamiliar sensation given y her. something that he just knew the feeling of and what it meant as the jedi master finally spoke keeping his attention forward. "It is a gift, something that comes with time and understanding of the force. Also you are unfamiliar, I know pretty much everyones aura on Voss and most of the other planets the silver jedi travel to. It is how I have been able to live for as long as I have." he finally turned and youthful features betraying the inhuman coloration to the skin. Sash over the eyes and short hair that went to an exposed torso with small white scars as the jedi master strode forward wearing the channeling gloves in his hands and having the main equipment sewn into his armored pants that were form fitted and looked more like they had been painted on. Specialized combat oots that he could use and the presence of a jedi master who didn't try and play with others. He made sure it was known when he was around with a stronger aura of the force that was meant to be oppressive to those who could sense it ut were not sure how to focus and keep their minds on the task at hand. "I am master Synlidwirh."

Tempest thought it a remarkable gift to be noticed while among the presence of so many. He mentioned being surprised that they had never met before. "I am newly residing with the Order." Her father and her adoptive father were always out just doing what needed to be done. They did not spend much time on a base.

He mentioned having lived a long life, but as she fully saw his face, she didn't think him old. 'Peculiar.' She had never seen anyone like him before, however she had studied the galaxy's many species. His not having eyes, reminded her of the years which she did not speak, after she witnessed her father's murder and she was left on an unpopulated planet to die. Her senses had then multiplied, and she never lost those that had opened up to her, yet she didn't use them today.

She did not know any of the tech he wore, as she had never met anyone who used it. She heard alot of discussion among the Padawans about such things after arriving here. The Master proudly bore his battle scars. She stood as if a polished porcelain doll before him.

She found his grand Force Presence a welcome familiar, comforting by which to be surrounded. "I am honored to meet you, Master Synlidwirh. I am Tempest Yore, of Coruscant." she returned with a half curtsy.

He was looking at her and prepared for anything while walking. Going for a more casual pace to let them all move around. Up here he could look over a larger area of Voss and get to the different locations a lot fast.... also after the experience before with the others well.... needed space when one used moves like kinetite to smash and practice your skills. The jedi master was walking and motioning for her to follow with his head to the side before speaking. "Well then welcome to the silver jedi and to Voss. This is a little different, normally I am offworld and hunting down sithspawn on different planets. So I meet my padawans in different areas, you'll often not see the inside of a temple for a long time while doing lessons."

Tempest walked alongside this man who claims to be very old, yet looks her age. She couldn't help but study him. She didn't know what would be appropriate to ask him about himself upon first meeting.

The sensation of being sized up through the Force brought back memories of when she was young and also ever silent. She used to reach out in attempt to impress her needs upon her Master. He would often touch upon her when she was distant, to gather her present state of mind. It took intensive psychology from him over a very long period of time, to get her to start speaking again. She tends to be the silent observer type even now, however on the inside she sometimes resonates with her very name. This memory caused such a struggle.

Master Synlidwirh accepted her as his Padawan? 'Just like that? Without even talking about much?' The sorrow she felt contemplating the similarities of her old Master, now mixed with gladness over the fact that she will be permitted to continue to pursue her dream on Voss. She smiled. The idea of her new Master "Hunting Sith Spawn?!" on a regular basis however, caused her an added concern for alarm!

He was amused a little, internally as she seemed to think about it and gasp for a moment. A small tight lipped smirk was on one side of his face. He was looking at ti and sticking around efore they were all moving around here. To see what they would all be able to better get now though. She was a different student then many of his others.. somewhat the different padawans he had taught they generally stayed around to get some skills and then vanished while one or two really took to the training itself. He would see to it if he could that she understood what she was getting into. "Yes sithspawn, on a regular basis. Everyone is so interested in just finding the glory in battle against the sith they forget that they leave behind a great many problems. Currently we have been cleaning up the prolems a former jedi left for us before he ran off to join the sith."

She often wore an intense look, thinking before speaking, or not speaking at all; the wallflower that often recognized too much, long before most involved. Her brows rose in unison. "Glory in battle? Is that a man's idea? Maybe a rescue, or a liberation. I cannot see it in battle alone." She did not mean to sound rude assigning gender types, but that is a possibility, how she saw it. Tempest Yore will not be chasing after glory. All she wants is to live up to the expectations of her Father and her last Master. They weren't military Jedi. They went where the Force lead them. And they went alone.

It was always a terrible thing when a Jedi fell to the darkside. "Master, do you believe the Council sees who will fall, before they actually do?" She worried about her own recent sense of loss and how it effected her as of late. And she saw the same feelings mirrored in many of her peers. It was easy to identify. "I am always surprised at how quickly we feel a chill at the memory of the fallen. And yet...it is likely they had done much good for the galaxy at some point." She had not met a learned Jedi who had not saved someone, and in it righted a serious wrong against humanity. "My father told me that one good deed, outweighs the evil which wrought it," her voice trailed off in her nostalgia. Sometimes the depth of her own memory of her father surprises her. His voice often peeked its head as her guide whenever she found herself in need.

Jedi were outside raising a ruckus, training and ruining the much adored sounds of nature, as forest denizens fled the area rather than remained to spectate. She wasn't watching them train. She can do that any day, anywhere in fact. She found herself far more captivated by her discussion with this old Jedi.

That was a complicated question, i many ways it wasn't that the council or assembly as it was could see them falling in the force or a vision. No seeing connor fall and try to redeem himself over and over again only to fall again over several years was like an alcoholic. In many ways while she was speaking more. He looked to see what the rest of it was and spoke. "As one who has done evil things, wicked things and spent several centuries now working to atone for them I can tell you this. It doesn't get easy, it isn't supposed to be easy. We are jedi, we choose the long road full of regret at having to take the path that will help the people but won't help us. We give up our time, our lives for the hope it will inspire others to be better. Many forget that or think there is a quota that they have to reach and then they can just quit. They want it to be easy and when they realize the life of a jedi is one of self sacrifice then they seek what makes the job easier. They seek to use more and more their emotions, their passions and accept corruption a little more every day until they are darksiders and it is just natural to them." He said it while leading the way and here there were some places, the pits as the lip of it went down itno a carved mud hole now that others coulldn't see. They didn't come up here but some fo the more dangerous creatures were attracted to the scents and sounds.

His blunt honesty was much appreciated. Tempest has never met a darksider face to face. She only read about, or heard stories. Hearing he had succumbed to the darkside himself, at least in actions, her visage fell and she felt the weight of his words bear down upon his shoulders. A slight twinge of precaution ran over her spine, likely as he had intended.

He mentioned again his age as centuries old this time, and at the mere weight of his conversation, Tempest suddenly began to believe he could be as he claims. It would be astounding in her opinion, yet never heard of before as possible among her prior connections. She would hate to be so gullible to start believing such a lifespan for a Miraluka. 'Only a Sith Lord knowing Dark Arts involving human sacrifice could to accomplish such a feat...were he a Miraluka!' The Jedi Padawan shook her head. 'Of course he is stretching the truth! But why? Why now?' she wondered. Yet she knows her understanding of the Force is limited, heck even about the galaxy itself. She did not presume her assumption absolute and correct, only more probable.

Tempests's life began as one of the sacrifices of a Jedi. Her father had left her and her mother so he could save the galaxy. For years she had despised him for it. Then she learned that her knowledge of him, being limited to that of her mother alone, was not a fair shake. But even though she forgave him, loved him, and honored his memory, she never thought that in hindsight, she would be accepting her own position in the experience as a necessary piece of the puzzle. She never thought that keeping her in his life, could have actually harmed her father. This realization felt too deep to fully explore, but is one for deeper meditation. Yet, maybe it is something she already knew, just never put into words before. The mere idea pained her unexpectedly which caused her a faint gasp.

Her new Master stopped before a mud pit. Tempest's mouth hung open for a moment as she looked down into it, before she realized her perceived reaction and pursed her lips instead. 'Grrreat..' The other Padawans are never going to let it go, if she returns tonight looking like she cleaned up after a Mos Eisley circus. She is just going to have to commission herself the standard uniform, instead of her personal attire. She sighed. 'Men.. They just truly are different.'

She hopes that if she doesn't stand here looking down into it, that the pit will just go away on its own. Tempest looked at the Master wondering why of all times, she couldn't think of anything to reply when she sure as heck hopes for a distraction, maybe a deterrent, anything to keep him from telling her to go down into that place! She pretended not to have any clue that such a thing might transpire, by looking around herself at everything else but the pit thingy. She did stretch out her fingers and lightly graze upon, whatever might be down inside...which dug itself that pit...as its home. Her brow crinkled in perplexity.

He was looking at her and she seemed to be thinking about something there for a moment when he moved from the ring of the pit there until they all moved. He could see some of the creatures there. Moving to get into the pit as he slid down and stood planting his feet with a look at the padawan. "Come on, focus on finding the ground first and learn to move with the resistance and mud. It will teach you balance and focus your instincts." He had done this is many of the others though, taking the likes of Ronin, Sega, Kalyn, Una, Iella, Keiko and them to the leviathan pits where massive monsters were chasing them.... this was tame in comparison. Still he would make sure she knew how to move around and find balance without having to think about it. Somewhere she could slip and would be able to remember it all the better.

She started at his sudden plummet into darkness. 'Aww! Son of a...!' screamed inside her head as he went in the pit and called up to her to follow. "Damnit I was once a mute, never deaf!" she cursed seeing no way out of it. He couldn't see she wasn't dressed for an excursion? He can see in the Force, which is better than eyes! 'No respect for suede boots!'

"Slide down?" she more repeated to herself. "Wouldn't jump down be less muckier?" Force Jump she had done many times in games, but slide, not at all. She never had been at any place where she could have learned it before. Sure she should probably learn it. The Padawan scoffed at her luck. "Of all the..." She stood at the very edge and leaned over, unable to see him at all, and raised her voice so he could hear, "Why couldn't you have been a Philosopher?!"

'Good bye my lovelies. I shall never forget you...' she thought taking one last look at her boots, their furry softness against her white stockings. She hopes her new Jedi Master doesn't get harmed while hunting Sith Spawn, because she hopes to know him for a very long time, so she can make him pay for this. A scowl on her face, she thought him not very kind at all, as she contemplated running away.

he was looking up and could see her form in the force there for the time. She seemed to be thinking about it with a look on her face here. There was a grin on his face now as he was listening, heightened senses letting what she was saying come to him before the jedi master backed up a little and the mud was sloshing. The sounds of creatures down here before he stopped and grabbed one of the infant sied wreathing war worms. Brought here by the sith and they were dangerous before he threw it back into the mud. Sensing them in the force before he remained calm and ready for anything. The jedi master brought his hands up and motion for her to come down with him. Down here there was just the chance to learn how to see in the force and she could find all of the creatures.

"WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?!?!" Tempest jumped as she shrieked from atop the rift of the pit as she saw him grab something "GROSS!!" and toss it aside. She sensed tension, maybe from him, or maybe just all from herself. One thing for sure, nobody ever took her to explore such things before this guy. 'How is it men can be so...different...icky??'

"I...uh... HEY Master!" slid over her tongue so smoothly, one would have thought they were meeting at a bar for drinks and pleasantries. "I-I think you got this." There was a tinge of laughter in her voice, but it wasn't actually laughter, more like a sudden onset of hysteria. Her heart beat rampant with panick, yet her legs suddenly paralyzed wouldn't do anything. But she forgot all about her boots, which only a moment ago almost had her crying at the thought of losing them to all the grime...and now to the ginormous bug slime/feces.

In all honesty, she could not identify it herself, but it seemed like a factor of trust between them is what she requires most. Her whole life spent under the care of mostly one man, and it was a safe existence. Now a stranger wants her to willfully jump into there. Just why she honestly doesn't know. Maybe a little prep would have helped, but its too late for that now. "Don't I get points for..." she began talking to herself again. "I mean I was always asked, 'if my friends all jumped out of the airlock during hyperjump, would I do it too?' The answer is always supposed to be 'NO!' For the love of... Its Always 'no.'"

For goodness sake, the young woman never even owned a pet during her lifetime! "How can anyone even expect... I should now say, 'huh, yeah sure.'" She laughed hysterically.

Luckily for her new Master, he did not have to purposefully break trust by forcing her into his little amusing pit. The ground beneath Tempest's feet broke away suddenly. It seems one of his little friends burrowed up underneath where she was standing. She did not simply slide over the edge either, nor fall down into its burrowed hole. The darned thing lunged at her and wrapped around her, pulling her down into the dirt through the hole it had burrowed. Startled she screamed...shrill just like a girl.

He was down there and able to hear the creatures as she had something..,. the jedi master looking up when she screamed and was being pulled before he went into action and was moving quickly. The force making his body ract faster then his brain set it all up. Muscles tightening, the veins looking like steel cords under it before the definition of the muscles was there. He surged up the incline towards his padawan and almost gave a snarl for a moment so he could move up and reach for her to grab her and the worm to pull and tear at it. Get the two of them sliding down back into the mud with all fo the other creatures that had gotten excited and the jedi master was enjoying this. They were young, these creatures a danger yes if you were not careful but they also were not large enough to be a threat just yet. She was likely going to get messy down here int he mud pit but this was the type of fight you wanted to have for something. Excitement and skill while he let the force radiate off with some excitement to be in a battle now.

That thing touched her, and tried pulling her into its underground cavern! In a flash she saw the Master's face before her again. She couldn't believe it! He tore the slimy icky ginormous gross bug thing off her and killed it without haste.

Within a mere second he was heading back down the slope, but she wasn't ready, nor steady. She drew and ignited her lightsaber, slashing one of those things as it got too close to her along the way down. She landed head first in the mud, with a loud splat. The Padawan lie there and from her place on the ground, lightsaber still ignited, she had a sudden change of heart.

"Hey...um...you're right...Master. Sliding really does sound like a much better way to go down. Next time, I-I'm gonna try it that way." Being nabbed by a bug thing was obviously not the best of outcomes. Her way just did not work out. Likewise she knew she could not blame him for what had happened, and that she already decided she shall burn every stitch of her attire since the very second that thing touched her.

But...her current position was not necessarily preferable either. As she pried her wet body out of the mud and rose to her feet, her lightsaber illuminated so far out into the pit, she could possibly believe that her weapon was luring these disgusting creatures towards her.

It did not matter if she took a fighting stance or not; the mud was so thick there, that she could not take a step without her boot slipping off her foot.

He was surprised by her mostly when they were coming down and he slid into place using the slickness of the mud on his back to spin around with his foot smashing ito and kicking to the side another worm. She was using her blade and he was guessing now going to be covered in mud now as he could hear her using her saber but he stayed around. Using his hands and feet to kick and punch everything back around before all of them stayed there. She was uncertain about some fo the different parts until the padawan was at least staying there. "Calm yourself, allow your mind to focus and listen to your breathing. The force will protect and guide you, it will also show you the cave that we are in to illuminate the darkness." She stayed there and around with a look before he moved around using the force and not letting his boots get stuck for the moment as he moved around. The force guiding him so he could smash the different worms around them.

'Even ugly things can be seen in the Force? Poor Force!' If she could see her outfit in the Force, she would be crying!

Her Lightsaber was attracting the creatures. Tempest extinguished it. Breathing deep, she calmed herself. It was not long before she felt like part of the pit itself.

The creatures were not illuminated by the Force much. Non-sentient being were strange to sense. They were difficuly to comprehend, and their instinct made them hard to anticipate. Master Syn on the other hand, he was not only wrapped in the Force, he was formed with it.

Tempest raised her hands and lifted the worms which were approaching her, and suspended them in the air through use of the Force. She soon found it more successful to use the Force to push them back away from her, when they got too close. It was harder to get her beloved suede boots free of the mud.
