Faction Ready. Set. Draw!

Vaux stretched in her flight suit as she looked at the target that was set up. Phew! That was fun. She rubbed her arm a little, still sore from having a creature try to bite it off. She’d be able to shoot at least from what Ina told her, and that meant she could keep her nice little commitment. Blaster pistol training.

The pilot quickly pulled her modified Trayc’kal, aiming at the target as a test before sliding it back into its holster. VK, her astromech, would let out some Binary before the Mando would answer.

“Yes. Training people is a good idea, and no. I won’t let my temper mess it up. Should be easy.” VK whistled a little before rolling out from where the targets were, and to a table with multiple blaster pistols laying on it. This would be fun.

Eliz wandered right up to this target and gun station, his blue eyes glancing around curiously. He didn't say much, but did offer Vaux Gred Vaux Gred a small nod of respect. Someone willing to help him get better with his blaster was someone he'd like to be around after all. His eyes would scan the various blasters for a moment, then glance up to the woman.

"So how do we start?"

"Mighty fine selection you got there" Aloy calls out to pair looking over the various pistols. Aloy herself was leaned up against a post nearby, Helmet clipped to her belt and cigarette in hand as she exhaled a cloud of vibrant red smoke not unlike her ginger hair or the long red scarf that hung around her neck and over her shoulder.
This seemed like a good way to relax after that dogfight with the Agents of Chaos, And just her luck~ There were familiar faces at the range today.

"Kiddo, Gred." She nods each of them, Recognizing Eliz as Cleru's son and thus in a way, Part of her extend family that she called "The Nite Owls" and then there was the Gred woman, Who she didn't know by name exactly, But she knew to be Mig Gred's sister, Whom she'd seen briefly when the Enclave met with the so called "Sons of Mandalore".

"I reckon you're teaching the kid to shoot than?"

Leenic, out of habit at this point, reached into his satchel and wrapped his hand around the deactivated lightsaber sitting inside. Watch it. He mentally scolded himself. Dont grab it unless you're intending to get shot. Shaking his head at his own carelessness, he let go of the saber and pulled his hand out of his satchel. During his short time spent with the blade, he had grown slightly attached to it and even went so far as to always carry it on him. He couldn't explain why he held onto it, but somewhere in his subconscious he knew it was one of the few things that helped him feel validated as a person, since being a force-wielding mandalorian was looked down upon in Mandalorian society.

He had made his way to Mandalor for (from what he could remember) the first time in his entire life. He had expected to finally feel at home and at peace for once, but instead felt more insecure than anything. Thoughts of how his own parents had distanced from him and forced him to hide his force sensitivity from his clan came rushing back almost immediately after he saw another Mandolorian wearing Beskar'gam, and he had stuffed his lightsaber inside of his satchel to be sure none would see it. After a couple minutes of walking, he had managed to make his way to what he thought was a firing range.

After a few deep breaths to calm his nerves, he stepped though the door and immediately inhaled the cloud of smoke Aloy had exhaled a few moments earlier. He doubled over and broke down coughing, his lungs weren't used to any smoke inhalation (outside of combat) and this appeared to be too much for him. Reaching out a hand to steady himself, he was able to choke out a few words in between coughs.
"Good god." He wheezed. "Maybe dont smoke in front of the door next time?"

Vaux couldn't help but smirk a bit when asked where they would start. Eliz was a good kid from what she'd seen, and having a chance to hand off some of her knowledge was pretty nice. She was about to answer before hearing Aloy though. She turned and smiled a little, nodding to her as she walked up and extended an arm.

"Aloy Vizsla I presume? Vaux Gred." However Aloy would respond to the handshake, the pilot would nod to her question, looking over at the table of firearms.

"That's the plan, tat (Concordian version of vod). And you actually just got the ball rolling." She would then look at Eliz. "How we start is knowing where you want to end up eventually. There are a lot of pistols around, but to keep it simple you have light pilots, sometime called sporting pistols, heavy pistol like the DL-44, slugthrows, and cartridge loaded, like mine. The sporting's best for training though, so we start there." Vaux then handed him a defender pistol, looking at the targets. She smiled just a bit as she then looked at the pistol, pulling her own.

"Know you can do this two ways. A two handed grip, or a single handed grip." She would demonstrate with her own pistol, showing the two different grips. The pilot was about to continue before someone else walked in, complaining about the smoke Aloy was making. Vaux rolled her eyes a little as she looked at him, her electro-whip and stolen cultist lightsaber hanging from her left hip, and her pistol on her right.

"Hm... can't say I've seen you before, tat. Hear about blaster training going on?" It wasn't that unusual for Vaux not to know someone, but she still noted it. It simply caught her a little off guard was all.

Aloy showed up? Eliz blinked in surprised as he watched Aloy Vizsla Aloy Vizsla so casually walk on up. She needed training? But she was a badass! He didn't recognize Leenic Ellsil Leenic Ellsil , but he guessed it made sense that Vaux Gred Vaux Gred would bring a couple more here to learn how. He pulled out the charric heavy blaster he'd gotten from his father before setting it on the table before him. "I want to learn how to use that best." Eliz took up the simple looking blaster and tested out the different grips he was shown.

He liked them both.

"So.. Should I just shoot or?"

Aloy responded in kind with a firm shake to her fellow concordian, Flashing a toothy grin at the Gred before leaning back up against her post.
"That'd be me. I recognize you too, You were 'bout as disappointed as I was when we met with those "Sons of Mandalore"... Though, I wore different armor back then. Red as a tatooine sunset."

She continued smoking off away from the kid, Just enjoying the sight of a gunslinger teaching the new generation how to shoot like you mean it. Watching the kid pour over the selection of pistols and then mimic the various grips that Vaux taught him.
It reminded her a little of her own childhood. Not with her mother, Nor father. But with Vash , When the old gunslinger taught her how to quick draw and take on the gunfighting scum of the outer rim.
Soon she could see her younger self in place of Eliz, And that old Ubesian where Vaux had been standing, Showing a young Aloy how to compensate for recoil with a one handed grip. A nostalgic smile had been growing on her lip between smokes, All up until the image changed. In place of Vaux, She could see herself standing there, Showing another mandalorian how to shoot. A young thing, Red of hair like herself, Little blue eyes trained on this imaginary image of herself training the child, And beside them all stood a third figure: Tan'yill Vizsla Tan'yill Vizsla .

The child was theirs. This was an imaginary future she was seeing, One that warmed her heart just before it skipped a beat.

She longed for that life. Didn't she.

"Good God. Maybe don't smoke in front of the door next time?"

Her pale blue eyes blink a time or two before glancing at Leenic Ellsil Leenic Ellsil in surprised, Clearly shaken from her daydream. She looks back at the range where her imaginary self had been enjoying the future she longed for, Only to see that the image had faded to dust, Dust stood upon by Vaux and Eliz once again.

Blinking again, She coughs suddenly, Turning to the side opposite of the newcomer exhale a long stream of red smoke into the air away from the door this time. She hadn't even noticed her positioning, Just took the first quiet place she could, To smoke and relieve herself of stress after that dogfight.

"Old habits die hard" She says quietly, Clearing her throat and then turning to the newcomer, Giving him the once over before turning back to watch the others.

"Aloy. Alor of House Vizsla. You?"

Leenic heard two of the other people in the room address him, but still needed a moment to collect himself. After hacking up a storm for the next couple seconds, he pulled himself upright and looked around at the people surrounding him. He could tell they were all Mandalorian, but also noted that two of them lacked beskar’gam and the third one (the one that had been smoking) had her helmet off. He was going to respond to the first question, but then the one who had been smoking introduced himself so it seemed only polite to reply to her.

“Name’s Leenic, used to belong to the Ellsil Clan before most of us died.” He replied, his left hand instinctively reaching for his blaster before he sharply pulled it up. “I, uh, kept the name though, so you can use it if you wish.” He then turned his attention towards the other two, who were at the range. “No, I didn’t hear about any formal training going on here. But, uh, I think Ill just stand by and watch.” Coughing slightly (partly due to nervousness but mostly to get the remaining smoke out of his lungs), he leaned up against the wall next to him. Calm down, Leenic. He thought, looking around the room through his visor. You’re safe here, they don’t know about it.

Vaux eyed the newcomer, sigh a little and shrugging.

”Name’s Vaux. Clan Gred.” She then turned her focus back to Eliz, smiling when she say the pistol. She’d never seen a Chiss pistol up close before. She looked at the pistol, quickly grabbing the DL44 she’d brought just in case so he could see it done with more related pistol to his own.

“Yeah. Just stay calm at take it slow. Practice only works when you’re doing it right. Both hands on the pistol grip to start, lift it so you’re looking down the sight, line up, then pull!” As she said this, Vaux would demonstrate with the DL44, ending in her shooting the target she’d set up earlier. Not her best shot, but with her arm it was great.

“Ok kid. You’re turn.”

Both hands on the gun. Eliz nodded once to Vaux Gred Vaux Gred before he took a stance to steady himself and aim the gun. He wasn't actually that bad at using them. Cleru saw to it that his children knew how to defend themselves at least. Issue was he wasn't sure how to compensate for the recoil of the charric. The young lad took a breath in as he focused, then pulled the trigger twice. Two bolts, one hit the target. The other missed. Eliz lowered the blaster, frowning a little. His hands weren't steady, not when he was pulling the trigger.

"Not sure if I'm doing this right or not.."

Her sky-blue eyes glanced down at Ellsil's sudden reach for his blaster, The sudden ice-cold look in her eye directly into his visor and the clench of the fist resting on her folded arm being the only indication of a reaction. If he looked incredibly closely, He might notice the slot for a knuck-plate vibroblade in her gauntlet, Which was easily in reach and could have been jabbed into the gaps in his armor before he even finished drawing that pistol of his.

And yet, She hadn't. Nor would she, Manda willing.

"Easy, Ellsil. If you're itching to draw, You best mosey on up to the range" She says in an un-amused tone, Turning back to watch the kid and Vaux.

"Listen, I know how it is. My birth clan was wiped out long before Clan Vizsla took me in. All those years on your own, Bounty Hunting or worse to survive, It does things to you. Makes you jumpy. But that chit's over, Ya hear? This is mandalorian space now. You can afford to relax a little, These ain't the people to draw on you"

She smiles a little, Crossing her arms and leaning back against the wall while Vaux takes a few shots, All well placed considering the arm.
Then Eliz took up his own pistol, Prompting Aloy to lean forward a little as the kid gripped his blaster in two hands.
She could see from here how he pulled the trigger, Jerking it back and causing the thing to raise ever so slightly as he fired, Else he would have hit both those shots, She reckoned.

"Hey kid!" She shouts between cupped hands "Don't pull, Squeeze."

Leenic rubbed his arm at Visla's comment, sighing softly as he did. "Yeah, sorry about that." He said. "Like you said, you get used to being jumpy around everyone." He then rested his head against the wall, the beskar of his helmet making a low metalic clank when it connected. He closed his eyes, trying to reach out through the force in an impromptu meditation to (hopefully) calm himself down. He felt his mind almost immediately wander to the saber in his satchel, and he used every ounce of strength to not force-lift it.

After a few more seconds of this "meditation", Leenic heard blaster fire and opened his eyes. He noticed that the young kid standing at the range had fired off a couple shots and had even done pretty good for a beginner. He then noted Aloy's tip for the kid and almost gave one of his own, but then stopped himself. Dont overwhelm the kid. Just let him figure it out.

Vaux smiled a little, patting Eliz on the shoulder.

"She's right, ad, but you have the idea. It keeps you from jerking so much when you fire." Vaux quickly flicked out the chamber and let the ammo drop in her hand. She then showed him her pistol hand, slowly pulling the trigger to show him. She hoped he'd notice that she wasn't quite pulling the trigger full force. She then showed him again, slipping the ammo back into the pistol before pulling the trigger. She then looked at him again.

"Now here's what happened when you pull a trigger full force." She pulled the trigger tight and the pistol jerked. She then looked back at Eliz, nodding.

"Understand?"
