Effective as a unit rather than individually, the Razorfin was a flexible strike interceptor. With its safety measures removed for more powerful power output and weapons like its heavy laser cannons and ordinance launcher, a squadron of the fighters could decimate enemy lines or even destroy unprotected capital ships. Able to maneuver in tight spaces and turn on a dime these vessels would gain the nickname "Roid Jumpers" as their confirmed kills began to rack up within asteroid belts and fields. The vessel lacked any armor however and relied heavily on its meager deflector shields to keep it out of trouble.
The vessels also had rudimentary sensor jammers and dampeners to help them slide past blockades that were only using passive sensors. They weren't made for stealth missions but could be discrete when needed. The Razorfin also sported a pair of s-foils. While originally meant to reduce strain on the craft when in the atmosphere, the retractable heavy laser cannons were mounted to the wings to allow for rapid fire of the heavy weapons. The S-foils radiated the heat out, allowing the ship to continuously fire for short bursts of power.
