Raw Recruit

It was weird. Too weird for her, at least right now. Ruby was half way across the galaxy, she had no family anymore. Was alone save for Krest, and he was still too much a stranger for the time being. It was only out of a case of desperation and hope she came here with him. He'd agreed to take her as an apprentice and train her in The Force and other skills needed. It was just to sudden for her to handle though. A fifteen year old living a tragedy written a trillion times over through the ages. A Galaxy such as this won't take pity of course. It will kick you and kick you until you can take no more and lash back. She really wanted to break the Galaxies foot for this.

Ruby was huddled up in her knees on some old stone ruins a ways off from the main temple complex. Tears stained her face as a recent wave of raw emotion washed over her. She wondered where Krest had gone off to. He said he wouldn't be too long gone, but it had felt an eternity had past already. Ruby pulled herself in tighter. She'd just have to wait for him.

Alexandra felt great, after that pregnancy and finally getting some time to get up and go exploring their new home she was more happy and active than ever before as she stepped down on the ground as she felt a spike in something she immediately frowned at. Something or someone was sad nearby, her mind was open enough to sense it immediately and soon her body turned in the direction that she felt the spike.

She moved slowly and cautiously, her hands touching the sabers hidden in the sleeves of her pure white robes and cloak, eyes darting around the area and carefully picking out things. "Hmm Anyone there?"

"Hmm Anyone there?"

Ruby's ears perked up as someone called out. The voice didn't match Krest's. In fact it was feminine in nature. They knew she was around here, just not exactly where. There was no need to fear the Grey's. Ruby knew that, it was just that she wanted to be left alone right now. Doubtful this woman would oblige. The red caped girl tilted her head and looked over the side of the old wall. She was fairly high up. Heights were great for staying away from people.

Ruby had a good look over the woman, grey robes, silver hair. Looked like a monk or priest she though. 'May as well see what she wants. Hopefully she'll just go away then'. Breaking her moping position; she swung her legs out and over the ledge. Her one hand laid flat on the stone to hold balance. The other quickly wiped away the dried tears before resting too. Ruby called out to this woman, loud enough for her to hear clearly. "What do you want"?

"OH, There you are..." She looked up the wall then around her, seeing a path that would require less effort than to push so much of her force abilities into a jump, the force was an aid, not a crutch. With that thought she ran towards a crumbling part of the ruins, jumping up onto it and moving instantly to another close stone as the first crumbled to bits, then jumped over to Ruby's section without wasting too much energy. "So, Hello, why are you all here alone?" She went and sat down near Ruby, not next to her but still a decent distance to be considered nearby. With her close now her Silver eyes looked at Ruby closely, studying her while she let her hair down and smoothed it out and rolled her head alittle. She assumed this girl was a newer student or something, too... kind to be mandalorian.

Ruby gave the woman a quick sidewards glare as she reached her perch. Nothing to forward to raise suspicion as she was looking right at her of course. She sighed, resigned that she won't be getting rid of the woman until she spilled some information. "I'm here with Krest. He's gone off to do something, and I'm here waiting for him to get back". Well there was the truth, partly. Ruby was in the dark on just where Krest went, only getting a be back soon for a time. "I also don't mind being alone so I can think". A catty response, but she was not in a favorable mood with all that had gone on recently.

"Hmm, so you are little boy red's little joiner are you... interesting. I would have thought he would go for a color that he didn't see every day of his life." Alexandra smiled and held out her hand to Ruby as her own legs now dangled over the edge the woman much more carefree in the middle of nowhere. Simply because she didn't have to be the level headed... well she was suppose to be the level headed diplomat but recent times have kinda hurt her reputation there of all things. But now her eyes focused in on ruby. They were Soft, Kind, and very much so curious. "Where did Krest pick you up from miss?"

The woman's question seemed to tear the would open farther. Making her think of that place. It felt cruel but she had no idea what she went through. Ruby felt the tears storming back. Pulling her legs up and turning back to Alex to hide herself. Again her face buried itself in her knees, arms wrapping around to pull tighter. "It doesn't matter. Leave me alone". A hard lump in her throat made the words tough to force out. Tears fell into her skirt and quiet sobs muffled their way out from her hiding place.

Alexandra blinked and turned her eyes down to the ground as she moved over and tried to wrap her hands around Ruby, trying to provide a support for the little girl that would allow her a chance to pull herself together. And even if Ruby would try to move away Alex would let her but also start to sing a soft tune, the words lost with the wind and the sound more important as she also expanded an aura of peace and calming, trying to give the girl more support than already. Only when the turn was done is when Alex took the moment to speak. "Miss, sorry, i know what it likes to feel pain."
