Definitely leads into the page better. Since I'm a photography nerd and a graphic design student, I could probably still be a bit picky, though. The cut-off point for the subject's head, coupled with the placement of the bangs, vaguely makes her forehead look a bit big. It's a sort of trick of the eyes- one that can be really hard to avoid. Cut off too much of the top, and the head can look elongated. Cut too much off of the bottom (often the neck, shoulders, and upper chest when it comes to portraits) and it can also seem elongated, or simply look 'off'. A common fix for this is to zoom out (if possible), exposing more of the subject. However, when you have to shrink the image to a certain size, this can make the overall thing look less detailed. Or, if there were tons of details in the first place, it can look too busy for something its size.

Getting the exact positioning right can be crazy hard. Doubly so if you don't have access to the subject/model and a camera. Or, in the case of digital or illustrated playbys, access to much of the art.

Looks like something an angsty teen would draw on DeviantArt and receive positive feedback because it looks pretty damn good.
