Long plane ride yesterday so I rewatched Solo and was surprised how much I enjoyed it. It has weird things of course, but overall not bad at all!

1. Revenge of the Sith - The Opera Scene is my favourite in the entire series. First twenty minutes of the film is the best opening out of all of the films, in my opinion. Mustafar duel is peak Star Wars, and of course, seeing Anakin's transformation into Vader.

2. The Phantom Menace - The film that got me into Star Wars. I love the pod racing segment. Darth Maul is eerie and fantastic. Duel of Fates is my favourite fight scene in all of Star Wars. Gungan undercity scene gives this film the type of sci-fi I love. Qui-Gon Jinn is brilliant.

3. The Empire Strikes Back - The best film out of the original trilogy. There is no Star Wars without this film. Han Solo's "I know" is every girls dream. Plus the bad guys win which makes the next movie more important as it ups the stakes.

4. A New Hope - The film that started it all. It's just solid. It isn't my favourite and no particular scene stands out for me either. But I always enjoy it when it comes on.

5. Return of the Jedi - The last twenty minutes of this film is probably the best Star Wars in the entire trilogy. I struggle to remember what happens in the rest of the film.

6. Rogue One - The best film of Disney Star Wars which isn't saying much. I watched it again recently and it was ok. Andor has definitely improved this film as I care more about the characters but I just can't get over the scene where Saw has every opportunity to escape with the rest and for some reason decides not to. I also found the plot about the Death Star plans convoluted and it makes Krennic look like a moron, so when he is presented as the big bad at the end of the film, it doesn't pay off. I have mixed feelings about this film as you can see.

7. Solo - This is a good movie that has absolutely no pay off. Abandoned. A waste of time. Only above the other movies in my list because it is a solid film that is meant to be the start of a franchise that isn't going to happen anymore.

8. The Force Awakens - The Empire Strikes Back 2.0 with some A New Hope. Han Solo dies. Rey beats the bad guy with no training. Bad movie.

9. The Rise of Skywalker - A convoluted mess. At least it isn't boring, lol.

10. The Last Jedi - The film that killed Disney Star Wars. At least it isn't boring as well.

11. Attack of the Clones - Up until the Battle of Geonosis, this movie is boring, and the love scenes are cringe. YouTube commentators also ruined the last twenty minutes for me, as when you think about it all, none of it makes sense.

12. The Clone Wars 'movie' - Never seen it.
