Atmosphere: Type I to the "native" Rakata and animals while type II for outsiders (Equivalent to being at 5km above sea level on earth) due to a slightly thinner air then most planets.
Climate: The Climate of Rakata Beta is Tropical, much like the species ancient home world. The position of the suns , one right over the other, allows for a constant heating of both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres. The planet also stays in almost the exact distance from the suns in all orbital positions, making the planet have no winter as outsiders would know it. The average temperature of Rakata Beta is around 80 - 90 degrees Fahrenheit while the "winter" temperatures hover around 70 - 75. While extreme cold is not an issue on Rakata Beta, the gravitational interaction between the two suns and the moons (specifically Shi'Rita) causes constant and dangerous ocean weather on the North and Southern poles, leaving the equator with moderate and sometimes severe weather but overall very stable. The planet is overall very humid and can become foggy during the hotter parts of the day. There are also planetary phenomena where an extensive chain of underwater volcanoes will erupt at once and super heat the ocean, causing an instant rise of humidity and heat in certain parts of the world. These instances can raise air temperatures from 90 degrees to 120 in a matter of minutes while raising water temperatures from 80 to 180 in three seconds.

Primary Terrain: The Super Continent stretches from North to South Poles and contains mostly Grasslands, Jungles, Forests and Mountains. There are also spots of desert in the middle of the continent and the center of the equator. The land mass makes up 30% of the world while scattered islands make up 4% and the water taking up the final 66%. The most famous terrain on the planet is known as the Pangean plain, a slightly mountainous grassland that runs just under thousands of kilometers from the tip of the Southern Hemisphere to the Equator.
Native species: The planet's native species have long since died out, victims of alien creatures brought to the world in the ancient times by the Infinite Empire for research reasons
Immigrated species: . Now there lives a multitude of evolved subspecies of multiple different origins, all of which are originally from varied climates. It is not uncommon to see a Rancor living in the same mountain region as a Nexu or bantha herd. If there were any native species before the Rakata, they have long since been forgotten by history as the dominant species is not the latter.

Culture: The culture of the Rakata people centers around the worship of dark side artifacts and any technology created by it. The planets population is also known for fully supporting the "Mandate of Destiny" doctrine that proclaims that the Rakata people are superior to all other species and that only those fit enough to serve as slaves will be spared extinction. This support of the mandate has lead to the creation of extermination camps across the planet that are used to eradicate species or individual societies or people seen as undesirable or hated by the regime.
Technology: The technology of the planet is based on the advancements made by the Greater Infinite Empire. The species has discovered modern hyperspace travel and weaponry, however they are still in the process of learning the ways of the advanced technology spoken of in the ancient texts found across other Rakata worlds.
History:
Though the history behind the planet is vague, even to the philosophers who study the ancient texts, it would appear that the planet was first arrived at by the Rakata 2,000 years before their expansion from what is now the unknown regions. According to holocrons the planet served as nothing more than a new place to live for the whole span of 2,000 years. It was not until the Rakata began their violent campaigns that the planet found a new use for the Infinite Empire. The Rakata began using it as a scientific outpost for non-sentient aliens that they came across on their conquered worlds. They were interested in whether or not multiple species from drastically different worlds could evolve and live on a single planet. The process ended with the eradication of all native species, aside from insects, and the adoption of Rancors, Nexu, Nerfs, Bantha's and other oddly paired species into the ecosystem. With this information in the light, it is possible that the landscape was wildly destroyed by the change before it became the tropical grassland it is today.
After the collapse of the Infinite Empire the colony became a refuge for those seeking protection from the plague. It is even said that during this time it was the center for exploration outside of the Galactic Rim in an attempt to find the Rakata a new home. The culture would slowly deteriorate over decades and lead to vicious civil wars for control over the planet. These conflicts ended with the use of multiple superweapons that all but annihilated the Rakata way of life. After this self created apocalypse, the Rakata slowly became more uncivilized to the point of barbarism and tribal warfare. Eventually, over the many eons, the landscape of the planet changed drastically and the oceans rose to cover much of the legacy that the Infinite Empire left behind. Leaving those who remained on the planet stuck in a primitive way of life for countless years.

Intent: My purpose for creating Rakata Beta is to give the Rakata a new home world of which to start. I hope to make this planet apart of my new faction, the Greater Infinite Empire, and use it as the capital for the group.
