[SIZE=11pt]Strengths and Weaknesses: Whilst he is a known tactician, Raith is also somewhat renowned for getting bogged down in the details, often focusing more on the material numbers of a given situation rather than the ‘Human Cost’; meaning is has in the past knowingly sacrificed men who could otherwise have been saved, so as to avoid ‘further statistical irregularities’. Alongside this, thanks in no small part to his considerable years of service - he has suffered numerous injuries which have left him with a slight (yet noticeable) limp. Despite this, he has a sure aim with a firearm, and is not afraid to make use of such talents when needed.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=11pt]Appearance: Cut from what could be described as ‘the purest Imperial clothe’, Raithe has a classical appearance, and was described as handsome in his younger years. It cannot be denied that such looks have faded with age, replaced by something of an ‘Old World’ sternness for which is renowned.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=11pt]Biography: Born to a military family, Raith was submitted into a military school - his mother and father determined to see him follow in their footsteps and submit to service in the First Order. With the assistance of his mother, who was herself a senior commander within the Naval forces, he found himself a good position within the service upon his graduation, and was assigned to escort duties on a Naval Corvette. Forming part of the battlegroup in which his Mother and Father served, the young Naval Officer was blessed and cursed in equal measure - blessed with his position, yet cursed as it was by the failings of his escorts Captain that a lone fighter ace was allowed to pass close enough to his parents ship to bomb the bridge, and thus leave the young Officer effectively orphaned.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=11pt]In light of such events, the Order wasted no time in ensuring their Officer was not pushed off the ‘right path’ and took him into one of their various programs for Military Staff, placing him into official lodgings and reassigning him as Captain of the Corvette following the summary execution of its Commander for incompetence. Raithe was further assigned to anti-Piracy duties on the northern fringes of the First Orders occupied space, considered to be something more fitting his skills. Raithe serves exceptionally well, tallying up a considerable tonnage of Piracy Kills, and was soon recalled after three years of service to head up the newly formed Imperial Sabotage Group.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=11pt]The Naval Group was defined as one designed to ‘Track and eliminate high value targets’, making use of a combination of stealth attacks from Corvette like vessels, before Stormtrooper Marines would be deployed to mop up the resistance. This ‘Blitzkrieg’ method of attack was something Raithe personally advocated, and the school of tactics associated with it was soon known as the ‘Raithe Doctrine’ - a practice he continues to adhere to even today, as he continues his service.[/SIZE]
