Nilira was yanked straight up off the ground, and held eye-level...A devious grin spreading across Nilira's face still however, as she let herself feel again for what felt like the first time in years. The fear, the joy, the anger. Oh the anger, all of that she had buried beneath her apathy coming rushing out as she kept gaze on Anet, as the Acolyte flicked her wrist out for a moment,

A sudden burst of magic erupted from her hand, aimed directly at Anet at point-blank range. The other Acolyte thought Nilira couldn't fight. That's what she had let the other Acolytes think, as she hid herself away in the library, in her dorms...but the Codex had taught her so much, and now she had an excuse to try it all out!

Her grip tightened around Nilira's collar as the acolyte dangled off the floor. As their gaze met, Anet's mask would undoubtedly return the favor as a result of that eye contact.

Anet's mouth parted lightly, as if to say something, but then Nilira summoned a bit of deadly Sith magic and shot it towards Anet's chest.

A terrible feeling ran up the half-pantorna's spine - a warning of the danger to come. It was too late for Anet to move out of the way. The bolt tore through fabric and reached flesh beneath. Her fingers released the girl as she stumbled back.

A desperate, bitter defiance allowed the ascending Sith to draw from the wellspring of her mask, drunk from the day.

Through the torn fabric, a spot of bare, bloody flesh peeked through, but it was no mortal wound. What energy did not kill her was absorbed, and her own body raged stronger, rippling outward in the Force with all her intent to push Nilira deeper into that fear, joy, and anger.

"Do you want to kill me, Nilira?" She asked, all too amused... but also, frantic and breathy. "Or are you just happy to see me this way?"

"No, no. Killing is not what I want. To tug at your strings is what I want. This rage, this control over people."

It made her feel strong. It made her feel as if her lack of physical strength didn't matter, as long as she could manipulate. She could control. A wheeze escaping her lips as she gasped for air, keeping the grin on her face as she could taste more anger. More rage. It was like nirvana for her as her eyes darted around in thought, trying to figure out her next plan.

Rush in for a close range attack? No. With the Lightsaber that would be an easy mistake. Continue to try and get Anet angry? No. She knew the plan now. All the Acolyte did for now was back away slowly towards the exit, towards the walls. Even as there was that sickness in the pit of her stomach, twisting and turning, begging her to relieve herself of today's breakfast, she kept herself steady. She let people underestimate her. It had always been her goal. And now she was at least somewhat showing off her true self.
