Questions about making changes to your character

So I wanna make some minor changes to one of my characters, but it's in the middle of an RP. Should I wait till it's done or could I just make the adjustments?
I'm talking about something like changing the characters main weapon or ship, not entire personality changes.

Making changes to your character IC or on the bio won't effect your roleplay unless you say it does. Your character is all yours, you can do what you want with them

If the changes you're going to make will actively affect your existing RP, then I'd suggest talking to your partner(s) or just having the change take effect after the SL completes. Otherwise, it's like Eddak said; the character is yours, you can do what you want with them.
