When the Shadow Hand decreed that the age of dependence on foreign alloys was over, the forges of Malsheem erupted in crimson light. What the galaxy knew as Dallorian Alloy, a modest heat-resistant industrial metal, was deemed unworthy of Sith dominion. The Kainate's metallurgists were commanded to remake it, to break it, to burn it, and rebuild it until it no longer remembered the light that birthed it. Under Darth Prazutis' gaze, the Shadow Mind directed the Shadow Mind into the dark foundries of Malsheem. There, vats of molten Dallorian were merged with Bloodsteel veins, bathed in sacrificial vitae, and hammered in cadence with chants of transmutation. Each ingot was drowned in magma, quenched in blood, and reawakened in flame, again and again, until the alloy no longer resisted fire, but fed on it.

The result was Pyroclast Alloy, the fire-eater of the Kainate.

Where Dallorian merely endured, Pyroclast thrived. Its lattice structure tightens and fortifies as heat intensifies, turning flame into fuel for strength. Under sustained stress, it glows with dim crimson veins, runes awakening like scars reopening, channeling every ember of the forge back into endurance. Weapons forged from Pyroclast hardly ever overheat. Reactor casings pulse with steady light, unyielding even at maximum output. Armor lined with it radiates warmth under impact, shimmering as it absorbs and redirects destructive energy. In Kainate shipyards, the alloy's low hum resonates through halls like a living furnace-heart, audible proof that the Sith have mastered what once humbled them.

To the artisans of Malsheem, Pyroclast is not simply a material, it is philosophy made metal: pain transformed into power, endurance reborn as strength. To the Shadow Armada, it is a promise, that the Sith will not fear the flames of war, for they are the forge that makes them whole.

Forged in agony. Tempered by endurance. The fire remembers.
