SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Secret Compartments: The RK-22 has several secret compartments for hiding blasters, spice, or anything else that needs to be hidden.
  • Retractable Weapons: The RK-22’s light sonic cannons can fold back into the roof when not in use.
STRENGTHS
  • Deceptive: Thanks to its secret compartments and retractable weapons, the RK-22 can effectively pass off as a civilian vehicle.
  • Spice Runner: The previously mentioned deceptiveness combined with the RK-22’s speed mean that it is very effective at smuggling jobs.
  • Urban Warfare: The RK-22’s dense armor plating combined with its high speed and maneuverability mean that it is excellent for urban warfare.
WEAKNESSES
  • Weak Weapons: The RK-22’s 2 light sonic cannons work well enough against foot soldiers and civilian vehicles, but struggle against dedicated military vehicles.
  • Fuel inefficient: The RK-22 requires quite a bit of fuel to operate, more so than most landspeeders.
DESCRIPTION
The RK-22 can trace its origins back to the RK-20, a civilian landspeeder popular on Oba Diah. The Pyke Syndicate liked the design, and created the RK-22 as a variant to better suit their uses of it. Namely, adding armor, weapons, and secret compartments. The RK-22 went into mass production on the factory world of Mon Gazza.

The RK-22 has since become ubiquitous on Pyke controlled worlds, being used for everything from spice running, to raids on hostile territory. The different branches of the Syndicate on different planets paint their RK-22s different colors to denote their ownership. These include, but are not limited to:
