Sic transit gloria mundi
Well...this thread has grown! First, thanks to everyone who's participated and contributed to it. Especially the redheads because redheads reign, as everyone knows!
Since the thread has gotten so bloody big, I think an ooc thread to see where everyone is, discuss how people can jump in and what there is left to do is a good idea.
To briefly summarise, Gehenna is the old Bando Gora homeworld an OP army under Sio's command purged back when she was Exarch and Tegs Protector. The Bando Gora Reavers were smashed, their leaders killed and their capital wrecked (it's located far beneath a mountain since the surface is inhospitable and hellishly hot).
Now Firemane and the Eldorai are returning with the following objectives: 1. Kill all the remaining monsters (there's still plenty left), 2. set up a base beneath the surface in the old Bando Gora city, as the area is rich in diamonds, 3. take the Bando Gora's loot and secure what artefacts they have and 5. turn the atmosphere into something less...lethal via terraforming so that one day people can breathe on the surface and walk around without wearing full armour.
At present the situation is as follows:
A strike force (Dells, Tempest, Coryth, Eyrecae, Kaida) has established a landing zone on the planet itself and is moving towards the city. Lots of debris in orbit has been cleared away and a second team has landed on a derelict Bando Gora warship (Mirien, Siobhan + Angelii NPCs) to kill all the monsters and take their loot.

[member="Tegaea Alcori"]: On the Ardarvia, the Firemane command ship. Supervising things. Presumably hoping Sio does not get maimed again.
Tarissa Cadalthor: On the Valora's Blade, Eldorai heavy support cruiser. Making bitchy comments, supervising the clearing away of debris. Her writer is using that account to direct NPC armies and show they're not background noise.
[member="Mirien Valdier"], Siobhan Kerrigan and Aeda Shaytarra (NPC Commander of the Angelii): Have boarded the derelict Bando Gora battleship and killed lots of technobeasts. Will presumably be moving more into the ship now. It has aliens from Aliens, technobeasts, Klaxxi, artefacts. * wants Miri stealth kills *
Naamah Aesham: Somewhere in a random Bando Gora prayer room on the battleship, far away from everyone else. Working through her mummy and rage issues, deciding that Chaos is cool.
Ground:
[member="Delila Castillon"]: Has the cutest Jester ever! Last I checked she was plowing Reavers with her tank and blowing stuff up, moving into the ruins of the city.
Coryth Elaris: Had a crowning moment of awesome when she took down a Bando Gora sorcerer while riding a Reek and summoning a army of illusionary Coryths and Reeks! Moving to rejoin the others for the push into the city if I understand correctly.
Tempest: In the air on a gunship near the city. About to summon lots of lightning to fry a massive swarm of mechanical insects that eat through personal armour. I expect Storm gifs!
Kaida: In an APC close to the city. Is summoning a big wind to drive the aforementioned insects into the air so that they can be fried. Will be moving in the city. Finally found cryokinetic powers that are directly useful in combat.
Eyrecae Alzari: Is charging into the city with her hammer. Hopefully will not try to bullrush a thresher maw again.
So on both ends there's still plenty of stuff to do. If anyone new ([member="Hevana Martin"], [member="Aeron Kreelan"], Ynnead Longeye/[member="Sarge Potteiger"], [member="HK-36"] ) would like to jump in, they can always say they were the next wave of reinforcements or something like that. A battlefield is very big after all. The Bando Gora cult is broken as an organised military force, so what we're facing is a Chaotic Evil remnant, but there's still Reavers, sorcerers and alchemised beasts and such. If you have questions feel free to ask.
