Prologue: Operation Flika

MISRANI'S RUN: DEFYING SOTTA
PROLOGUE, OPERATION FLIKA
A LONG TIME AGO IN A GALAXY FAR, FAR AWAY...
A YOUNG SLICER BY THE NAME OF RIA MISRANI UNCOVERS THE ORIGINAL CONTRACT BETWEEN SOTTA THE HUTT
AND THE MYSTERIOUS HOODED STRANGER KNOWN ONLY AS KANARIS. AFTER YEARS OF RESIGNING HER FATE
RIA DECIDES IT'S TIME TO FLEE THE SMUGGLER'S MOON OF NAR SHADDAA. ENTER JULIAN VALENTINE,
A NOTORIOUS BOUNTY HUNTER WHO HAS INTERCEPTED RIA'S PLEA FOR HELP. UNFORUNATELY
JULIAN WASN'T THE ONLY ONE WHO INTERCEPTED IT - SOTTA'S FORCES NOW COMB THE VERTICAL CITY
IN SEARCH OF THE SLICER...

"C'mon EM." Ria said to the droid who rested in pieces inside of a small trunk. Kneeling down she flicked the wheels with her fingers to make sure they were still good. Sighing with relief she leaned out of the hovel of a loft she'd called home for the past eleven years. It didn't take a genius to figure out just where she lived. "Great job Flik, live where all the bounty hunters hang out." Nar Shaddaa's Corellian Sector wasn't exactly the best place for a kid, but for her? It was as close to perfect as she was going to get. Slicers were a dime a dozen and ones that worked for the newbie hunters trying to make a name for themselves. Well, those slicers knew how to turn a profit. She could hear the sounds of Sotta's droids she turned her head toward the front door of her loft. Licking her lips she took a deep breath, and calmly began to dispense the liquid cable from it's container. She clipped it onto the trunk and began to make her way out the back door. Lowering the trunk down as she clipped the other end to her bandolier she began to make her descent. Thanking whatever shotty engineer for making it so easy to climb up and down.

There was a soft clink of the trunk connecting with the metallic floor beneath them, she placed her body up against the wall. She could hear the binary speak of the droids who were now searching her loft. Biting down on her lower lip the slicer didn't have much time there's no way she could get too far away without them noticing. Pulling a hood over her face, hand along the cable that tugged the trunk along behind her she turned left and away from the massing number of security droids. She was on the fifth level of this residence complex and getting down to the first was going to be tricky to say the least.

"You there! Halt! Sotta demands it!" A droid clicked in binary.

And there it was, the blonde popped her feet onto the trunk and began to push along with one foot as the wheels began to gain traction.

The sounds of mechanical feet clanking against the metal grating were getting closer and she pushed harder, faster along the floor using a hand to gain momentum around the corner. Sliding down to the fourth level, "coming through!" She shouted into the crowd who began to move out of her way and then found themselves tangled up in droids. A commotion of people, droids and now - blaster shots. A droid's attempt at firing on the slicer failed, and instead hit the durasteel plated armor of a bounty hunter who didn't take kindly to it.

Ria was grateful for it to be honest, she popped off the trunk and brought it up to her chest and barrel ran toward the lift. There she took a deep breath and looked around her. A few people, but nothing she couldn't handle, when the lift opened up she was on the first level and took a sprint out of the lift and around the corner. She had to get to a taxi pad and unfortunately it was further away than she had estimated, more droids began to march toward her while those behind her were beginning to catch up.

CORELLIAN SECTOR, NAR SHADDAA

5imVEEV.jpg

The crowd surged forward, shouting and screaming. Blasterfire echoed in the distance. Like the tide on the rocks, the wave of people crashed and moved out of the way of one individual. Julian Valentine was that rock. The Bounty Hunter wasn't fleeing from the scene, he was approaching it. His fearsome hammerhead helm adorned. The Tusken cycler rifle was being used as a cane as he walked, cracking loudly against the duracrete pavement.

Yee Lung had gotten a lead on a slicer on Nar Shaddaa who was offering work for escape. It wasn't the first time Julian had done it. He had saved Yee, paid him minimal wage and kept him on board his ship as a permanent fixture. Though he didn't need someone constantly around, an extra hand here and there would prove useful.

The lead itself had little information on the woman he was mean't to find apart from that her name, or alias, was Flika, and her droids ID was E-M4. Very little to go by, but Valentine had gone by worse. In fact, he had found men and women from bare scratch. It was a talent like that that had earned him a one-hundred percent success rate, and both unofficial and official, within the Bounty Hunter's Guild, as the top dog in galactic bounty hunting.

Yee was currently wired in to the local CCTV network, scanning for anyone with the matching mark on the wrist as described in the tip, or a small probe droid. It might not matter though. As the crowd began to trickle away, Julian was left to his own makings to investigate the scene. He craned his neck, droids were approaching the scene, and when he looked up at the windows high above, he saw movement in the hallways. Then the lift pinged, the door opened. A blonde woman ran out with a trunk in hand.

It was starting to look grim, Ria had to admit her hood laying haphazardly atop her head with her hands clutching the trunk tightly. She narrows her gaze looking at the two fronts of droids approaching. She could hear them speaking in binary relaying their success back to Sotta. No way, she thinks to herself, no way did she come this far only to give up now. Besides, if Sotta caught her - she was dead, contract or no. Wasn't like this Kanaris person had ever come back for her. A cyborg made their way to the front of the approaching mass. "Flika." The voice modulator on the cyborg lieutenant known as Gatonk manages to grit out, "you've caused a lot of trouble for Sotta today."

"I'd apologize but I'm not exactly sorry for it." Ria replies in a sardonic tone, she looks around. "Listen if you're really worth your scrap, you'd send your little toys away." The young slicer is looking for options, she knew Gatonk had an ego so the hope was that he'd actually do it and send the droid forces away.

He considers it. She watches as he orders the droid forces away, keeping her bearings she uses the trunk against her chest to conceal her movements. Side stepping Gatonk. "Come now, Flika. I'm sure Sotta will go easy on you, this is your first offense in over a decade." Gatonk wasn't going to let a little slicer get to him, he could handle her on his own.

"You're clearly new around here." She builds up her bravado. "Sotta doesn't go easy on anyone but you know I wonder if he'd take it easy on you. After all, I've seen you around here dealing the Exchange, and oh what was that group of armed droid mercenaries that you've been running around with?" She purses her lips together hands coming around the grip of her ion pistol. Ria had to steady herself waiting to take her shot on him, she could squeeze off two shots if she was lucky enough and it'd buy her just enough time to escape.

"Flika, I'm not some astromech." He forces her to turn with her back facing the taxi pad in the distance. Now the cyborg lieutenant didn't care if his orders were to bring her in alive. He had loose ends to tie up and she was one of them. Very few knew Gatonk's activities outside of Sotta's forces. "I'm not some droid you can toy around with." His cybernetic hands flick against the trunk.

The blonde leans in but the cyborg doesn't flinch. "No but you're Sotta's droid, you're his little pawn to do with as he pleases." Ria's voice lowers as she chooses her words. "You see, I bet you - he ordered you to bring me in alive, and if you don't you'll be gutted for parts."

"If those words are suppose to scare me, they don't." He backs up withdrawing his blaster. "Flika, you don't scare me and neither does Sotta."

Julian Valentine stalked behind the fleeing woman, out of the elevator and towards the taxi pads. The droids that had been fast approaching were already on her, there was no escape. The bounty hunter kept his gaze on the woman, until another notable figure appeared. An enhanced human. Great, he hated those people. Augmentations could make the wimpiest kid capable of defeating a wookiee in an arm wrestle. It was like cheaper, but worse. It made his job hard. Force Users were simple, strap on a Ysalamari nutrient pack and he was set to go, but cyborgs needed a little extra to take them down.

The woman brought her trunk to her chest, a hand kept hidden. She was up to something, it was a classic move. As old as time for cowboys and rogues. But hiding your movements was never smart, better to divert your enemies gaze. At least with a well placed distraction any assailants won't become suspicious of your movements. Julian was quick to figure that you could learn a lot from magicians.

As if the situation couldn't get worse, the cyborg forcefully turned the woman around, and it was time for Valentine to step in before all hell let loose. With his hands draped over his holstered custom heavy blaster pistols, he shoved a path through the wave of droids. His large hammerhead helm provided an imposing sight for those who watched.

Without the helm, Valentine was no hot shot, he wasn't the galaxies best bounty hunter. He was just an ordinary gunslinger from a nondescript backwater planet. With the helm, the story was different. Its strange alien design had become iconic in the criminal underworld. The name Valentine, and furthermore the very sight of his helmet, brought fear. He had started out as just a kid caught up in the Red Ravens, a criminal empire that spanned the cosmos, and as he was taught the art of assassination he quickly became the favored choice of the infamous crime lord, Lysle of the Hydian Way.

When the Ravens collapsed and Lysle vanished from all known star charts, Julian was left to pick up the pieces of his career. He utilized what skills he had garnered from the Ravens and began bounty hunting. Back then he was a Solo, but not wanting to run off the steam of other Solo's he had his name changed to Valentine... and it all led here.

Valentine stood behind the cyborg, placing a heavy handed grip on his shoulder. He pinched his fingers in, tightening. It would hurt on most ordinary people, perhaps strike a nerve and make them cry out, but cyborgs weren't ordinary normal folk. "How about we let the girl go on her way, I do hate to see grown men cry." His voice was digitized by a synthesizer, it had sounded like a droid cowboy.

Ria watched as Gatonk turned to face the hammerhead helmed stranger. She slowly withdrew her ion pistol placing the muzzle as close to the cybernetic human as possible and pulled on the trigger. "Why don't you mind your own busi-." The lieutenant was cut short when he felt a pang i his body. A muffled pew, pew was heard followed by Gatonks' angered voice. "FLIKA!" As he went down, convulsing from the ionic pulses that now held him in a stun. Heavy boots against durasteel, as the bounty hunter from earlier boisterously announced himself.

"GATONK!" He shouted, "gotta lotta nerve bringin' that slug's droids into my sector."

Droids turned to face this newcomer, and Ria took the opportunity to flee. Making a mental note to thank the hammerhead helmed stranger as she did so. Squeezing in between the throng of people she disappeared into the crowd approaching the taxi pads, where the droid who manned it asked. "Destination, please?"

"Deucalon Spaceport." She answers in a hurried manner as blaster fire was exchanged back and forth between bounty hunters, droids and Hutts knew what else. Holstering her pistol she watches as her taxi approaches.

"Over there!" A column of droids had spotted her, just as she tossed EM-4's trunk into the passenger side of the taxi and hopped into the driver seat as the autopilot program began the trek toward the space port. The sounds of other vehicles on the flight path brought a manner of comfort and relief to Ria as she settled into her seat and looked over toward the trunk. "Don't worry buddy, I got you." She says to the box, looking up the darken orange hue of a sky above Ria's eyes look between the various neon lights and glass that reflected them. Her mind drifted to thoughts of Na'lona, and how maybe, just maybe if she had kept her mouth shut, she might still be around.

Always gotta check your targets, Ria. Just cause they're down, don't mean their down. Tylo's words fluttered into her mind as she instinctively sat straight up and looked over her shoulder. The devaronian, Tixen was fast on approach. Gatonk might be a lieutenant, but that didn't mean he was the best - he was simply someone who got things done. Tixen on the other hand, or Tixi as the rest of Sotta's little gang called her she was one of the best. "FLIKA!" Tixi shouts, trying to be heard over the sound of traffic, droids and - pew, pew. Blaster fire.

"TIXI! BACK OFF!" Ria shouts in return as she looks to her holsters, taking out the blaster pistol she shuts one eye aiming for Tixi's own personal boosted taxi. "I WILL SHOOT!"

"NO YOU WON'T!" Tixi pulls her taxi up as close as she can. "AND I CAN'T LET YOU LEAVE, YOU KNOW THAT!"

Looking up over the dash of the taxi, Ria watches as the promenade comes up on the approach. "YES YOU CAN! LET ME GO!"

"CAN'T DO THAT KID, C'MON! WHAT WOULD LONA WANT YOU TO DO RIGHT NOW?" Tixi asks in an attempt to get the blonde girl to think clearly. There was no way anyone with Sotta's mark, was leaving the smuggler's moon, alive.

Ria in her anger squeezes on the trigger with her feet planted against the inside of the taxi. "ARRRAAAAGH! YOU KEEP HER NAME OUT OF YOUR MOUTH!"

"C'MON!" Tixi didn't want to apologize, but she knew that she should. "I'M SORRY, FLIKA. PLEASE C'MON! LISTEN, I'LL PUT IN A GOOD WORD WITH SOTTA! WE ALL KNEW GATONK HAD THAT COMIN'!"

No way, was she going back not now, she'd come too far to give up now. Turning she could see droids coming up behind her and Tixi, droids who were firing at her. Ducking down she shouts back. "NO WAY! TIXI, YOU MADE THE CHOICE TO BE HERE. YOU MADE THE CHOICE TO PART OF SOTTA'S GANG. I DIDN'T!"

Tixi had her rifle squared up against her shoulder. She had it ready with her sights set on Ria, tucking in her lower lip she wasn't sure if she could actually shoot the kid. She always had a soft spot for her, a soft spot that she knew would lead to her death. "YOU'RE RIGHT! I DID MAKE THE CHOICE TO BE HERE!" She whips the rifle around and begins to pick off the droids behind her.

Ria takes her chance to squeeze off a few rounds of her own. Missing with each shot, and that Ria is when lady luck leaves, and you get the frag outta here. Tylo's words echo in her mind again as she looks back over the dash, they were well over the promenade now with the spaceport just coming into view. "THEN LET ME GO!"

"I CAN'T JUST LET YOU GO, FLIKA!" Tixi shouts as she brings her rifle back to set on Ria. She moves to aim a few meters away from the girl. Tixi can feel her body tense up with this shot, if she missed, Ria was definitely dead. If she hits it, then the girl would survive. She'd been in more than enough of Tixi's runs to know when to hit the deck. "BUT I CAN'T LET YOU LIVE EITHER, YOU KNOW THE RULES, FLIKA!"

The young slicer watched the sniper's movements and she knew exactly what was happening, grabbing the trunk she tucked herself into the small space between the seats and the dash, as the next thing she knew the taxi was swirling out of control coming in hot into the spaceport. Tixi in her boosted taxi was gone, diverting the droids attention just as Ria's own taxi finally came to a halt against a pylon or two at Deucalon's own taxi pads. Smoke rose, and Ria, Ria was trapped between the seats, the dash and engines that were now starting to ignite.

Raachwaroo

Furred Fister, Brown Boxer
Raachwaroo had stopped with Bryce on the way to Demonsgate in this quaint little space port, BB was off doing force-knows what. The wookie was looking over some Armor-weave in his size and had tried it on for a sleeveless shirt that went down past his waist a little bit, happy with it he made the purchase and was walking away when the taxi crashed into the pylons near him. Feeling his heroic instinct kick in after watching people gather but do nothing he ran in to the rescue. Punching through the back window with ease thanks to his crush-gaunt gloves and tore off the connecting piece between trunk and window.

"Raaaaaaaaaaaaaaagn!" Translating to something along the lines of 'Get out! Move!' As he peeled back the metal tearing through it with some effort he saw the beaten girl clutching her suitcase tightly. Grabbing them both under his left arm before walking a good distance from the taxi. Laying them down he looked down to her with his brown eyes and smiled as the taxi blew up very cinematically behind him. Hoping that BB would be here soon enough he knelt down and began to look over her wounds until an astromech came up and began to feed her information saying,

"Greetings, I'm Rung. This is Raachwaroo. He is asking if you are okay." The little white and green secondary droid, of an M4-1S model, said with some spunk as it held a shopping bag on it's left leg. It beeped happily with a very tiny bit of mellow to it, a good fit for the Wookie with little skill sets.

"What the Kark happened here?" BB said arriving to find his buddy Raachwaroo kneeling down beside the seen of a speeder taxi crash.

BB had been out securing the needed medical supplies they would need for the upcoming mission and was a little taken aback by the scene he had walked up to. Soon his confusion turned to understand as he saw Raachwaroo kneeling over a young blond woman, trying to comfort her.

"Miss the name is BB, tell me how you are feeling today?" BB said beginning his self taught interaction protocols.

Not waiting for a response he scanned her vital and began applying bacta bandages to stop any bleeding caused by the crash. Soon he was relieved when the scans came back mostly negative and her vitals seemed stable and strong.

@Raachwaroo @Ria Misrani

Ria's eyes fluttered opened as she looked up to see, a Wookie, a droid, and... a kid. Never one to be rude, 'specially around these parts. Ria slowly propped herself up on her elbows. "Feel like I need a strong drink." She responds with hoarse voice as she winces a little sitting up straight. The trunk containing her droid is still in one piece, thankfully. Ria understood the little astromech just fine, and smiled warmly as she responded to it.

"Names, Fli-" Pause, no, that was the name Sotta gave her. "Ria, Ria Misrani and that." She gestures toward the pile of junk that had once been a taxi speeder. "Is buying me time to get off this rock." Looking around her she squinted, surveying her surroundings.

Dispensing the liquid cable once more, Ria tied herself to the trunk. "And this, this was - is my buddy EM-4." Getting to her feet, the blonde dusted herself off and walked back toward the crash. Grabbing Tylo's hat she placed it on her head, "old man would never forgive me for leaving this behind." She muttered under her breath and turned back to face BB, Rung and Waroo. Crossing back toward them she explained, "we don't got a lotta time. You see." Ria rolls up the duster sleeves and shows the mark on her wrist. "I belong to Sotta the Hutt, who doesn't like the idea that one of his slicers is trying to escape the vertical city."

Way to go Ria, what if they're working with Sotta. "Which... uh, you two - wouldn't..." Nah, they don't look like one of Sotta's regulars. Although, it wouldn't be beyond Sotta to hire out. "Happen to work, or know right?" Because they really, really didn't have time to stand around and chit chat.

"OVER THERE!" A column of droids began marching their way.

"Yep, time to go!" Ria flicked the wheels of the trunk and pushed herself along the duracrete. "Which way?" She asks BB, as the droids begin to fire into the crowd and security begins firing at the droids.

"Man I hate random fire fights!" BB said as he drew his two BTI-DSG "The Hibernator"s and emptying a full clip and ion charges into the on coming droids.

The first row fell only to be replaced by more, the odds looked not to be in their favor, but when were they.

"Hey Graham, time to be a hero again. Can you scrap some clankers while I get her back to the Starr?" BB said as he changed out the ammo packs and sent sent another salvo toward the on coming droids.

"We can meet up at the hanger, if this guy has that many droids we are gonna need that gunship of yours as well to blast our way out of here.

Raachwaroo

Raachwaroo was very happy to see the very fair [member="Ria Misrani"] to be doing just fine. She was rather beautiful though for the Wookie she wasn't... well Wookie enough. When Bryce came over he greeted him with a simple grunt and nod. He didn't understand what they were saying and the droid was far to busy staring down the droid case. Feeling better about the whole situation him and his droid simply watched as words that were unable to be understood were passed around. Then a droid took a pot shot and BB responded The Astromech translated quickly, not in a coherent language to the two but summarized it all to say the very simple statement.

"Dude, stay behind to fight the droids. See you in the hangar." Raachwaroo nodded and accepted the droid's advice and pulled out his blaster rifle and flicked it on full auto and began mowing through the Droids. This made him a perfect target, the armor weave was hit twice in quick succession making it heat up painfully and knock him back before he rolled out of the way and took cover behind the now docile Taxi. The droids grew in closer and his Astromech hid next to him and beeped twice.

"Ruh?" Raachwaroo asked to which it beeped twice again only confusing him more. The droids were nearing and Raachwaroo was arguing with his little M4-1S about what two beeps in quick succession meant. As a blaster round hit his shoulder causing him to roar out in pain and anger before turning around and flipping the entire remainder of the Taxi over crushing three sets of droids, the others stopped in response before he rushed forward and punched the Taxi sending it skidding forward and flipping once more crushing a good remainder. Though by the time this bravado had happened literally no one saw its, just like the time he punched a blaster lazer. Who saw it? No one, BB was busy looking the other way. Roaring he turned around towards the hangar and began sprinting at it. As he was running towards the hangar a cyborg ran out from another path getting in his way. The Wookie listened to instincts and thew his shoulder into it causing it to slam into a nearby wall. The droid was flying past it quickly, the only upgrade he had installed, speed.

"Mononononn!" He ribbed with his throat at the droid to which it responded by going faster until Raachwaroo was nearing the Hangar Bay area his beautiful X wing in sight.

Poopoo, why do I always get myself into these things BB though as he led Ria through the starport. BB had the Starr birthed in a side hanger off the main one and saw the supply loading was still ongoing. Seeing T7-S80 and GE3 overseeing the process the called out to them. "Fire her up Sady, no time to explain!'

This was what the third time he was helping some random stranger, fourth maybe. As much as he complained to himself in his inner monologue he knew better, these were the kind of situations he lived for. Helping and saving the day. That was what he did.

[member="Raachwaroo"] [member="Ria Misrani"]

"Right!" Ria remarks weaving in and out of traffic making her way to the side hangar. She looks once over her shoulder to see the Wookie tossing what was left of the taxi toward the ever marching droid columns that kept forming up. Upon entering the hangar she took a moment to look at the ship, her eyes went wide. This was really, really happening - she was really going to get off of Nar Shaddaa. No more Sotta, no more ungrateful baby bounty hunters and a real chance at finding Lona. If, she was still around, ... Shaking her head, the young slicer shook of the negative vibes and flipped the trunk up into her arms making a dash for the starship. Her personal comm was ringing and she knew exactly who it was, but why she felt the need to answer it...

"FLIKA! This is how you repay me?" Sotta demanded, "by fleeing?"

The hutt looked distresses and unhappy, with a mortally wounded Gatonk being taken into medical care behind him.

Ria's lips curled into an unfriendly manner. He had some nerve. Speaking as if he had raised her, cared for her when all he ever did was break anything and anyone she had ever loved. "Repay you? For what? Leaving me to rot? No Sotta, this is me gaining my freedom." Looking down at the mark on her wrist, it filled her with disgust.

"You were always free!" Sotta exclaimed. "You have no idea what you're doing!"

That much was true, she had no idea who this Kanaris was or is, why they left her here on this planet. "THEN TELL ME WHO KANARIS IS! Why did they leave me here? With YOU!" She shouts. All she knew was that she was born in Cloud City and that she might have an actual family that missed her. Whoever this Kanaris was, they were on Ria's list of people to find but for now. "No, no way Sotta. I'm gonna find this Kanaris myself, go to Bespin and find my family."

Sotta laughed maliciously. "What family? Flika, the only family you have is HERE, on Nar Shaddaa. Now come to your senses before people start to get hurt."

"Frag off." The blonde cut the link and ran up the ramp and onto the starship. She looked at the young greenish looking boy, "don't care where you're going so long as it's not here."

As the Wookie made it into the room he tossed his droid on top of the ship and it got into it's little spot before the cockpit. Raachwaroo felt a need to tell Bryce he was here so he looked to the cockpit of the other ship and pointed a finger to his forehead and then pointed at Bryce in a nearly smooth fashion. Though Raachwaroo was far too uncultured and unprepared for a motion to be smooth.

"Roger, Roger, Raachwa-jer." The droid clicked happily as it powered up the larger gun ship, the streamline white RebelX heated up quickly and the wookie got in before the droid got on the comms. "Bryce, we're ready to ship off. All guns are operational, follow us." Then the ship began to fly upwards a bit and take off towards the nearest exit. 'Graham' began spinning the front vulcan minigun in preparation of enemies before flicking on some music to make him feel more heroic. Looking behind him he watched Bb's ship carefully, before looking forward again looking out for any more trouble.

Well, Krak all those med supplies BB though sarcastically as the Starr lifted off.

"Shinning Star you are not cleared for departure, return to your pad and power down." The control tower radioed to the departing ship.

"Sady, cut that damn noise and punch it!" BB ordered from the command seat.

No sooner had he made the order than Sady replied with great enthusiasm. For an astromech T7-S8E was an... erratic pilot, especially in tight quarters. But thankfully she only took out two docked fighters and a ship dug before getting them out and into atmosphere. As the ship climbed warning alarms began to sound followed by weapon strikes on the rear deflectors.

"Hold on we got company!" BB yelled to Rai while motioning her to strap into the comm chair.

Rung beeped warnings to the Wookie causing him to give off the famous Wookie battlecry. Pulling a full one eighty degree turn he began firing all five of the large blasters on the ship. On turning around he took out three interceptors before wheeling back around and aiming his frontal minigun behind him and began firing towards the ones in the back taking out another. Moving in behind the Shinning Star he set up power towards his rear shields and prepared for an attempt to be boxed in, his spinning gun ready to shoot down the others.

"RRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHH!" He roared, which was basically a slur of excited claims. Some Shyriiwook curses, some excited woohoos, but mostly just a large hell yeah. His droid responded with a excited four beeps.

The Shining Star broke through leaving behind a trail of debris to fall down onto Nar Shaddaa. Ria watched with wide eyes of disbelief, this was really happening. It was all really happening, she looked down to that branded scar on her wrist. The orange hue ball of sin fell into the distance, fading away the further they were. She settled into her seat beside the boy who was piloting the vessel, and looked down at her hands and tears began to fall. Breathing in a sigh of relief, "thank you." She manages to say as she takes off the hat, holding it in her hands.

Finally, free Ria girl. Yer finally free, now git out there and do some good.

The attackers following the X-Wing eventually broke off, with a grievous warning for Ria. If she returned to Nar Shaddaa, Sotta would have her death, dark lord or no - the deal that had once been in place to keep Ria's life was now off the table. The blonde didn't care, she was free now. No more master, no more chains to bring her down. She has escaped her capture, twenty-six years of imprisonment on the smuggler's moon.

Her body finally relaxed as she placed the trunk on her lap, hands flat against the black surface. "No, really - thanks." She tells the boy, "lets just say there was a time when I thought I'd never leave Nar Shaddaa." Taking in a breath she decided to change the subject. "So, where are you guys headed to anyway?" It might help to know...

"To some where we can grab some more med supplies," BB replied his head already searching the star charts. "Ah here we got, Mon Calmari station, friendly and well stocked, perfect."

BB then turned and look at Rai, after their initial meeting it was the first chance he had to study her.

"From one born a slave to another you're safe." he said while revealing the Taris slave brand he had on the back of his neck.

"Welcome to the Shinning Starr, me and Graham we are, well freedom fighters for an underground organization." BB said really never that good at deception.

"You are welcome to say as long as you want, But hold on tight, this life is rarely boring." BB said with a smile before turning back to the controls.

HAVING FOUND A WAY OFF NAR SHADDAA, RIA NOW JOINS THE UNDERGROUND'S REBELLION
ON HER WAY TO A PRIVATE MEETING PLACE WITH BRYCE BANTAM, AND A WOOKIEE BY
THE NAME OF RAACHWAROO. SHE HAS ESCAPED THE CLUTCHES OF SOTTA THE HUTT,
FOR NOW...
