Chemical Composition Sensors
- Air Tight: The suit is completely air tight, with enhanced filtration technology. This keeps it safe from chemicals, diseases, and the like. Pressurization and a two hour air supply stored in the suit allows it to survive in vacuum and underwater.
- Force Dampening: While it doesn't stop the force from being applied to the wearer, it does slow down how fast it works, forces an increase in concentration, forces the force user to use up more energy to affect them, and helps provide some real defenses against various force abilities.
- Strong Armor: The mixture of reinforced Duraplast and hodharium, along with internal armorweave padding, gives the armor high resistance to kinetic attacks of all kinds, such as concussive waves, explosions, slugthrowers, knives, and crushing damage. The two elements also give it more defense than normal against blasters and plasma based weapons. Finally, the shielded circuitry and reinforced duraplast gives it a strong resistance to EMP and ion attacks, keeping their technology safe. This gives the commandos and troopers who wear it a feeling of safety while inside.
- Powerful technology: The armor is very much based on the personal armors of Allya Vi'Dreya, and contain heavy tech use, giving the soldiers a wide variety of abilities, such as advanced sensors, comm units, and even a built in automatic medic.
- Force Dampening: A force user who wears the armor would feel the force reacts more sluggish through them. It would take a lot more energy, time and concentration to attempt to manipulate the force through it.
- Sonic Weakness: While powerful, and useful, hodhararium is weak to sonic attacks, and it gives this weakness to the armor, protecting the wearers far less from dedicated sonic attacks.
- Training Needed: The sheer amount of technology involved into the armor requires strict training to utilize fully. A raw recruit first putting on the armor will not be able to use it well.
- Stands out: This armor is easily identifiable as part of the Dauntless. While it can hide, it can't blend in.
- Lightsabers: Let's be fair. The Dauntless are commandos, not force hunters. If they that close to a lightsaber, the armor can take only minimal damage before failing.
This armor was specifically designed for the Dauntless Commandos and Troopers. This group was the main backbone of the CIS Rapid Response Force. First ones in, and last ones out, they needed armor as sturdy as they had to be. Designed by Commander and Adjudant, the armor was believed to fill almost every basic need they had. Hodharium, and reinforced Duraplast armor plates covered a cushioned armorweave bodyglove, and filled with a large amount of technology. When push came to shove, Allya and Luna brought in the experts from Locke and Key Mechanics to install some of the more sensitive pieces of electronics, such as the HUD, sensors, comm units, and medical suite.
It was air tight, with powerful filtration devices, and the ability to close itself off automatically when pressures changed to much one way or another. A two hour air supply helped ensure the survival of the troops through some of the harshest situations imaginable. Chemical warfare, being forced underwater, or ejected into space, even places of heavy disease, none of it could phase the Dauntless in this.
The Dauntless marched forward, heads held high, from the most skilled Commando, to every clone trooper. They marched knowing the protective watch of their Commander and Adjudant went with them, and had ensured they were protected against the harshness of the galaxy. This in turn allowed them to fight with a loyalty and ferocity rarely seen.
