The designers at Locke and Key mechanics had realised the benefits of an AI to support an individual in combat. Aurora was the end result of this thought process. More restricted in scope than previous AIs that the company had designed Aurora was designed with just one purpose, to make Juno a more capable fighter. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=9pt]The AI was modelled after a female at Juno’s request, the core of the AI held on a Gabonna Memory Crystal placed in a hypoallergenic unit designed to be implanted into Juno’s skull. The result was an AI unit that could be implanted into Juno’s head, the AI connected to her nervous system, with a digital port allowing both wired and wireless access to external systems. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=9pt]Aurora’s remit was for minor hacking and tactical support, analyzing enemies weapons and tactics and providing Juno with the best options in any combat encounter while providing tactical advice and predictions.[/SIZE]

AI: Contrary to a droid, Aurora has a wider range of sentience and can think outside of the box when it comes to its area of expertise.
[SIZE=10.5pt]Ion me up: [/SIZE][SIZE=10.5pt]As with any set of electronics an ion or EMP attack is a major weakness for Aurora[/SIZE][SIZE=10.5pt]. If the attack is on a system she has remote access of it will knock him out of the system, even after it reboots she will have to slice in again. If the central unit is hit by an ionic based attack Aurora [/SIZE][SIZE=10.5pt]is herself shut down until she reboots entirely. And information or growth acquired since his last backup (normally performed nightly) will be lost.[/SIZE]
Virtual Reality: Unlike a droid, Aurora is unable to interact with the outside world beyond the confines of its ability to interact with electronic systems.
[SIZE=10.5pt]Comms limitations:[/SIZE][SIZE=10.5pt] [/SIZE][SIZE=10.5pt]Aurora has the ability to remote-access systems which are vulnerable, but this access is limited by normal comms laws, jamming or security systems can seriously impede or even block her ability to slice into systems and provide remote support.[/SIZE]
Counterhack: Unlike an organic slicer Aurora is vulnerable to counterhacking, a sufficiently skilled and capable opponent can slice back along the vector of Aurora's attack. Unlike a slicer who simple using electronics to hack into a system, a counter hack has the potential of opening Aurora up to serious damage which can corrupt her or take her offline.
