Delsin Shaw depicted within his mind.

OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Name: Delsin Shaw - The Absolution Project
  • Designation: Sentient
  • Origins: Extra-Galactic
  • Average Lifespan: Unknown, Expected human death of Echani/Atoan Natural life cycle is averaged of 100-150 years. Lifespan of individual may be much shorter, or longer depending upon circumstances and application of the pursuit of Immortality.
  • Estimated Population: Unique
  • Description: He appears tall and lean, a figure carved from steel and shadows. His frame built less for mass and more for precision and speed. Though typically armored, even unarmored glimpses reveal a body hardened by obsession and lightning: sinewy muscles coiled with latent power, and skin drawn tight over bone and purpose. His hair is stark white. Snowed atop his head, or pulled back with precision. Offering a striking contrast against the darkness of his attire. That pallor extends to his eyes: Dark Emerald Green, Piercing immediately arresting, cold like polished steel, and flickering with the faint echo of malicious intelligence. One might say they glow. Not with light, but with intent. Irises in a slit instead of an oval shape. Typically accustomed to Feline creatures. His scars, subtle and deliberate, trace veins of memory across forearms and wrists. Each one etched by electric ritual or blade, as much a part of his discipline as his sinew. Yet even in repose, his posture communicates dominance: never relaxed, always ready. The mere stillness of him feels heavy, as though sound struggles to exist in the space he claims. Every element, from the pale starkness of his hair and gait to the faint hum of suppressed power, marks him as someone who has shed softness long ago. He doesn't command by volume; he does it by the quiet magnitude of his presence.

Strengths:
  • Strength Eternal: Strength Eternal is a unique Force crystal of profound potency and purpose. Crafted by the enigmatic Sith Lord Vora Kaar. This crystalline vessel is designed to house a single soul, transferring it from one host to another. Once implanted, whether into a living being or an inanimate form, the soul within can consume and overwrite the previous consciousness, inheriting not only their knowledge but their power (though only living beings can fully transfer force capability). The artifact is deeply attuned to the Force, granting the host continued access to its nuances and energies, almost as if drawing from a wellspring of ancient wisdom. The current Souls it has a connected knowledge to, is Darren Shaw, Anora Shaw, Galadriel Shaw, and Vora Kaar. Not only does it provide this power, but as a replacement of Delsin's heart, acts as the energy source for which powers his connection to the Dark Side of the force.
  • Netherworld Connection: The Empyrean Gland is a powerful bioengineered organ grown within the Netherworld of the Force and later implanted into a Force-sensitive host, serving as a sympathetic link to that realm. While implanted into Delsin, its primary strength lies in its ability to block interference within a one-meter aura, effectively shielding the bearer from ambient effects such as Ysalamiri fields or Void Stone disruptions that would otherwise sever or suppress their connection to the Force. Allowing one to use the force despite attempts to remove it.
  • Dark Core: With Sith and Hississ poison in his veins, he is physically incapable of being turned to the Light. His alignment is anchored to the Dark Side. Infused with Sith Poison, Delsin can draw strength in a relentless amplification of rage and aggression, turning controlled anger into instinctive, violent action. This toxin operates like a molecular virus, weakening resistance to the Dark Side and compelling the host toward increasingly brutal uses of Force power. As such, Delsin retains increased surges of destructive potential. Lethal, unrestrained, and driven by a dark compulsion that defies ordinary restraint. Affected by Hississ poison as well, solidifies Delsin's connection to the Dark side of the force itself. Deeply tying him to it.
  • Technobeast Integration: Having been affected by the Technobeast and Mechu-Deru Vitate, Delsin is able to directly interface with technology on a biological scale. This connection is tied to his neural processing and application. Thus he can control other such technological constructs, beasts, and equipment via touch, or through the force innately. This provides him a nearly personal connection to such things. A secondary action, is through his blood. As a Technobeast in some form, Delsin can procure his blood to act as a Technobeast Virus. Thus allowing him to affect and control others who have been afflicted by his blood.
  • Wraith of the Force: A unique connection to the application of the Force Wraith Sith Spawn, is a deeply rooted connection to shadows and darkness. Delsin is able to procure Shadows of himself that act akin to a Wraith in the force. Splitting his mental processes and force connection to create multiples of himself. Providing a clear benefit in combat that can overwhelm an enemy, or perform tasks in multiple places at one time.
  • Altered DNA of a Sith Spawn: Delsin's DNA has been directly influenced and manipulated for the explicit purpose of providing him alterations to his body that are liken to the creatures that are tied to him. Such provisions are the ability to have a resistant skin and flesh material to energy based weaponry. Allowing him to live through strikes or damage that would otherwise be lethal to a base line human. Secondarily to this, Delsin is able to directly consume sentient life and retain information of the specific individual. Thus modifying his physiology to be more along the lines of a carnivore. Requiring consumption of creatures, sentient beings, and even other humans. Finally, a unique application of Sith Spawn provided him with extra sweat and secretion glands that allow him to nearly at will, produce pheromones in which can induce Fear, hallucinations, Psychosis, and manipulate individuals to directly fear Delsin. He can alter these effects to not just produce fear, but to also make people drawn to him akin to Zeltrons and their application of Pheromones.
  • Dark Side Draw: Being altered down to the biological level, Delsin is able to in a pinch, consume and sustain himself off of the dark side of the force. However, in doing so, he is potentially draining the Object being consumed, or draw power from others around him in which can significantly weaken allies.
  • Ocululiums: The implant grants Delsin exceptional visual and Force-sensitive capabilities. Crafted to replace the natural eye, this lightweight and unobtrusive cybernetic implant offers resistance against kinetic impacts, strong protection against EMP/ion attacks, and high durability against elemental dangers. Empowered by the Force, it significantly enhances visual-based Force abilities. Such as Force Sight, psychometry, precognition, and insight. This allows the user to pierce through illusions, camouflage, invisibility, and mind tricks. It can even induce spontaneous Force visions, heighten awareness of rare powers like Fallanassi Force usage or connection to the White Current, and overall heightens perception with clarity comparable to or surpassing biological sight.
  • Lightning in his Veins: As like his heritage, as well as the deeply rooted connection to the blood that flowed through his fathers veins. Delsin's mental processes, and neurological application provides benefits of increased agility, speed, reaction times, and so forth. Allowing him greater precision with weaponry, application of coordination, and processing of his mind itself to be much faster than a baseline human. The equivalent would be a Cybernetics enhancement that greatly enhances reaction times, only applied through the force itself.
  • Evolving Consumption: A unique side effect of being able to consume the thoughts, memories, knowledge as well as the power of others via consuming the body of a deceased force sensitive being, and sentient beings, the main draw was to be an ever evolving Sith Spawn. Drawing power and strength from each kill. As such, Each person consumed, and even other Sith Spawn that are consumed can increase the power of one such individual. It is unknown how this evolution takes place, or how it manifests other than strength in the force at the current time.
Weaknesses:
  • Locked to the Dark Side: His physiology and mind are so deeply ingrained in darkness that any attempt to walk a neutral or light-aligned path causes intense pain, mental instability, and rejection of Force control. Such application of attempting to break his connection to the force via Force Light or Removing his connection will cause deep pain and instead of removing him from the force would instead kill him outright due to his connection to the force.
  • Crystal Dependency: The Strength Eternal Crystal comes tied to its fragility. When separated from a host or exposed to harsh elements, it becomes vulnerable to destruction without recourse. As an artifact embedded in Delsin, it remains active so long as the host remains conscious. In an attempt to wrestle control from a current host demands immense mental strength; failure can result in the crystal's soul being obliterated in the process. And, as its wielders accumulate memories across generations, an excess of consciousness may fracture the soul itself, potentially resulting in madness and internal conflict. Where competing memories vie for dominance.
  • Empathic Contagion: Due to the Strength Eternal's spiritual depth and the memories of past wielders, Delsin sometimes experiences bleed-throughs. Essentially moments where past souls influence or control his actions in moments of high emotion or stress. These can manifest as changes in speech, fighting style, or even unintended outbursts of power. If left unchecked, Delsin could become a puppet of a previous host or a fractured soul amalgam.
  • Netherworld Fallout: The protective power of the Empyeran Gland comes with significant limitations. The gland's effect is extremely localized, offering no protection beyond the one-meter radius. Meaning that outside the one meter radius, force powers projected by the host individual can still be nullified. Additionally it remains impersonal, allowing any Force-sensitive being within its radius to use the Force unhindered. Thus making friendly and enemy Force abilities equally viable in its sphere of influence.
  • Poison Circulation Risk: As his blood circulates poisons directly in his veins, any application of healing via blood transfusions, or applying blood to him, would be rendered completely ineffective. He requires a transfusion of blood directly made for him that is the same mixture of poisons, toxins, and the like. Greatly reducing his livable potential as he bleeds out.
  • Poked Eyes: The integration of the Eyes requires surgical removal of natural eyes. The device remains vulnerable to powerful Force users, light-aligned technologies like flashbangs, or intense light-based attacks. The surrounding facial tissue remains exposed to harm. Additionally, the implant may reject itself over time, causing severe pain or loss of vision, and cannot fully suppress random, uncontrollable Force visions unless moderated by another strong Force user. Finally, the benefits granted require prior training and comprehension; the implant augments, but does not bestow innate mastery of these abilities. As such, for these abilities to be up to snuff, Delsin must have the capabilities to use them or understand what the powers are.
  • Shattered Core: As like all of the applications of Alchemy items, and artifacts within his body, Delsin's mental state is deeply rooted within the force. As such, there is a significantly high chance for his physique to break and shatter. This mental break can cause disturbances in visions that can happen at inopportune times, a breaking of his mind into multiple personality disorder, or even a form of lobotomy in which he becomes nothing more than a warm body.
  • Pheromone Contamination: His ability to manipulate others via fear-inducing pheromones is an edge, but also a risk. Exposure to certain chemicals or toxins (especially in enclosed environments or atmospheres saturated with ozone, radiation, or extreme heat) may cause his glands to malfunction. This can release uncontrolled doses that could backfire. Allies may suffer terrifying hallucinations. In worst-case scenarios, Delsin himself can become trapped in his own illusions.
  • Shadow Self Instability: His Force Wraith replication is tied to his mental state. Each clone fractures his mind, spreading his concentration thin. Prolonged usage in battle can cause dissociation. Thus making it unclear whether he is the original or merely a projection. If too many clones are created too quickly, the mental load risks neural failure or a catastrophic psychic backlash that renders him comatose or catatonic. Secondarily, all pain felt by the shadows are transferred to the real Delsin once the shadows die, or return to him. Thus causing a sudden onslaught of pain that can destabilize his mental faculties, rapid onset fatigue, or be so racked with pain that he would lose consciousness and even die from the sudden explosive pain that assaults him. While the physical damage is not transferred, he still feels every bit of the pain.
  • Ever Consuming: While the aspect of consuming sentient beings, force sensitive, and even Sith Spawn to create a loop of evolving by consuming the essence of those he defeats, Delsin comes to a point in which each thing consumed, only increases this hunger dramatically. The more powerful the individual consumed, the more the hunger grows to consume more. This evolution by assimilation could range wildly. Gaining only a boost in power, a deeper connection to the force, or even directly altering his body to become something more. However, in this case, this evolution is not one of his choosing.
CULTURE
  • Diet: Carnivore. Favors nutrient-rich meats. Can consume alchemically-prepared organs and hearts to gain power or knowledge. Toxic or Light-side imbued materials are harmful or poisonous.
  • Communication: Galactic Basic, Sithese, Binary, and limited Telepathy (used mainly for intimidation or invasion of will).
  • Technology level: Highly advanced personal integration. Societal tech level is irrelevant due to uniqueness.
  • Religion/Beliefs: Deep-rooted belief in power through conflict and the Dark Side. Worships legacy through strength and the continuation of Sith knowledge, particularly through Vora Kaar's teachings.
  • General behavior: No known kinship behavior. Displays control over others rather than bonding. Highly territorial. Treats subordinates as extensions of will. Rarely sleeps, only enters regenerative meditation. Hunts only when necessary.

Depiction of Delsin's Presence within the force.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Delsin Shaw was not born in the traditional sense. He was sculpted, shaped by ambition, obsession, and the dying breath of a legacy that sought to outrun death itself.

The genesis of Delsin begins not with him, but with his father. Darren Shaw, a brilliant yet maddened Sith whose dreams of immortality led him down the dark alleys of science, sorcery, and sacrilege. His own body, though formidable, was never enough. His project, "Lazarus Sin," was the first attempt to bridge life and death, using Sith alchemy and cybernetic fusion to craft a body that could outlast time. But Lazarus was flawed. Even with external aid, technological augmentation, essence transfer rituals, and rare bio-organics, it required constant maintenance, never achieving the true perfection Darren craved. Darren desired more than survival. He sought dominion. A vessel not just to inhabit, but to control without decay or resistance. And so he conceived of a different project: Absolution.

Together with his wife, Galadriel Shaw, a master of genetic manipulation and Sith sorcery, Darren turned to an even more radical solution. Creation through control. They would not just make a child. They would engineer a being from the ground up. Galadriel's alchemical knowledge, Darren's soul transfer technologies, and the unwilling contributions of others. Including their daughter Anora Shaw, and one of Galadriel's gifted apprentices, Vora Kaar. They were woven together in layers of manipulation. The Shaw legacy was always one of exploitation masked as ambition, and no one, not even their own family, was immune to being used as a tool.

Delsin Shaw was the culmination of this grand project. Absolution. A living weapon. A vessel crafted to house souls, embody strength, and possess the capacity for eternal evolution. His birth was not the result of love, but of intent. Darren had planned to cultivate the child, raise him, and when the moment was right, consume him. Transferring his essence into Delsin's perfect body and securing a form of immortality free from decay or rebellion. But death came for Darren too soon. Whether by fate, betrayal, or miscalculation, Darren's final gambit was left unfinished.

The Absolution Project was Darren Shaw's magnum opus. A grand alchemical undertaking that sought not only to engineer the perfect vessel, but to distill and synthesize the darkest truths of Sith history into living flesh. To achieve this, he turned to the arcane practices of Sith Spawn crafting, drawing from ancient tomes, personal experiments, and knowledge stolen or coerced from others across the galaxy. Each creature chosen to contribute to the genetic blueprint of Delsin Shaw was not selected for raw power alone, but for the conceptual essence they represented. Darren did not simply want a strong body. He wanted a symbolic convergence of Sith dogma, nightmare biology, and dark destiny. Every spawn selected was tied to a philosophical thread: domination through fear, evolution through pain, and control through corruption.

One of the cornerstones of Delsin's genetic alterations was drawn from Hississ dragons, ancient beasts known for thriving in Dark Side-rich environments and for exuding ambient Dark Side corruption. Their blood and physiology were inherently toxic, not merely chemically, but spiritually. Darren saw the Hississ as the perfect anchor for Delsin's Dark Side permanence. By infusing his veins with Hississ DNA and coupling it with Sith Poison, another virulent agent of metaphysical darkness. Delsin was rendered physically and spiritually unredeemable. His very biology became anathema to the Light, unable to be turned, healed, or purified without triggering catastrophic rejection. This created a biological firewall that ensured Delsin would never betray the project's original alignment. It was not just armor against the Light—it was shackles to the Dark.

The use of Sithspawn that produced pheromonal manipulation was no accident either. Darren understood that true dominance extended beyond brute strength. Through creatures engineered to induce hallucinations, fear, and emotional dissonance, he gave Delsin the means to project his will without speaking a word. The pheromonal glands implanted into Delsin, derived from spawn created for Sith assassination and subterfuge, allowed him to weaponize fear itself. Victims would be overwhelmed by their own minds. Paralyzed by hallucinations of failure, betrayal, or death. This was not just a tool for victory. It was a tool for humiliation, ensuring that Delsin would always defeat his enemies by showing them the darkest parts of themselves.

To address survivability and the weakness of organic flesh, Darren incorporated traits from Leviathans, legendary monsters designed by the ancient Sith to feed on Force users. Leviathan DNA altered Delsin's muscular and neural structures, granting him enhanced durability and the grotesque ability to consume sentient beings for power and memory. Darren viewed this as a form of "forced inheritance," allowing Delsin to grow with every foe he slew, devouring their legacy and adding it to his own. This created a cannibalistic ascension mechanism, a system in which conflict was not just survival, but evolution.

The inclusion of Technobeast physiology, a heretical fusion of Mechu-Deru alchemy and parasitic cybernetics, served a dual purpose. Firstly, it bonded Delsin to machinery at a fundamental level, allowing him to interface with constructs through thought, touch, or presence. But more importantly, it was the only way Darren could safely implant the Strength Eternal crystal into Delsin's body without rejection. The Technobeast traits allowed for cyber-organic stabilization, effectively transforming Delsin's body into a living chassis for the artifact. This transformed him into more than a spawn. He became a conduit, a vessel housing not only his own will, but the specters of those bound to the crystal. It was the ultimate irony: Darren's backup plan was to store his own essence within the Strength Eternal, effectively hijacking Delsin's body if needed. In this way, Delsin was forged not just as a weapon, but as a vault for his father's ambitions.

Other Sithspawn alterations added sensory augmentations, particularly through the integration of Ocululium-derived eyes. These eyes provided not only enhanced physical sight but deep Force perception, allowing Delsin to detect Force echoes, emotional resonance, and precognition. Darren's goal here was twofold: to allow Delsin to detect betrayal or danger before it could reach him, and to make him terrifyingly aware of the fear he instilled in others. The sensory feedback would fuel his instincts, guiding his actions with precognitive subtlety and battlefield control, almost as if the Force itself bent to his awareness.

Every biological addition to Delsin's body was made to strip away vulnerability and reinforce dominance, while simultaneously locking him into the path Darren had paved. There would be no turning back, no possibility of redemption, and no path to peace. Darren believed that to create the perfect being, one must strip away the capacity to doubt, to suffer, and to disobey. Through alchemy, sorcery, and sacrificial legacy, Delsin became the embodiment of the Sith ideology. Power over all, achieved through transformation without consent.

Yet in forging a weapon to carry his will, Darren created something more. The fusion of these creatures and systems gave rise not to a tool, but to a man haunted by his own unnatural perfection. Delsin became a mirror. Reflecting the obsessions of his creators, the madness of his father, and the horror of what he was engineered to be. Each spawn that contributed to his body left behind a whisper, a tendency, a reflex, and in mastering them, Delsin did not just inherit power. He inherited burden.

And so Delsin was left alone, heir to a legacy of corruption, mutation, and deception. He grew amidst ghosts. Not just of his parents, but of the many souls twisted into his making. It was only years later, in his obsessive pursuit to understand his father, that Delsin learned the horrifying truth: his studies into Darren Shaw were not about legacy, they were about himself. The secrets of Project Absolution revealed the layers of his own construction, the theft of his autonomy, and the echoes of those who had shaped him. In seeking to be nothing like his father, Delsin came to the devastating realization that he was a mirror of not only Darren, but of every influence forced upon him. Anora's resistance, Vora's power, Galadriel's cunning, Darren's madness.

In the end, the Absolution Project was not the creation of a perfect being. It was the final confession of a lineage that feared its own end so desperately that it birthed a monster to hold onto the dark a little longer. And now, that monster walks free—not as Darren's puppet, but as the last truth of what it cost to chase perfection. Thus Delsin Shaw was not just a man. He was the final experiment. The last sin. A patchwork of Sith ambition, alchemical innovation, and lost humanity. Yet despite this, he did not crumble. He rose.

This is a really interesting read, overall, well done and explained... But I just need to make sure:

Unknown, Theory crafted to be Immortal, however, due to dark side corruption, and aspects of Sith Spawn, without proper care of the individual, Death could be much much sooner.

Please make it clear that although immortality might have been the intent - This species is not immortal. Death "could" be much sooner isn't enough.

Per the Rules:
  • No Character or Species may be Immortal - Either explicitly or implicitly stated.
When you're ready please give me a tag.
