NAME: Hâwmâr Kruhrâ Lurais

The name of Hâwmâr was chosen by his mother, tracing it’s roots far along the Sith Purebloods’ history, eventually coming to it’s etymological origin with a Saint under the Patron God of Yavin, a religious tradition that has been kept up by their family for generations before they mixed with humans. The name Kruhrâ was chosen by his father, which was the traditional middle name that had been passed down his entire patriarchal line. The Lurais name itself, is a habitual surname, eventually coming back to the origin of early metalworking crafts, though the exact origin is lost, it is assumed to be the name of some form of metal or raw ore that a craftsmen would work with.

FACTION:
New Imperial Order

The New Imperial Order offered something to Hâwmâr as it came marching through campaign after campaign, as the Braxant Worlds fell, as the very heart of the Empire was threatened and more and more civilians found themselves conscripted and throw into open conflict, it offered him the same thing it offered to all in the Outer Rim. True defiance, rage against the dying light, to finally be able to turn a blaster against the oppressor and free their binds. He took them up on that offer rather quickly.

RANK: Private | New Imperial Army | All-Massassi Cohort

The Stormtrooper Program, while producing the best of the best, is not for everyone. Not every last being is made out to be a special operations shocktrooper, not every last man has the will or patience to become that kind of machine in the cog. No, the Imperial Army, in the mud with the guts and blood is where Hâwmâr found himself most comfortable. Affixing bayonets and charging across an open field, screaming with his countrymen, that was what he defined as true bravery.

He belongs to the All-Massassi Cohort, a Company of Imperial Army personnel that draws mainly it’s entire line from Sith Purebloods of various species makeup. A culture by and large based around relaimation of what the Jedi-Exiles did to the Sith all those years ago, the Cohort is a well trained, standard lineup of infantry and supporting equipment lead by Major Zrantû.

SPECIES:
Sith Pureblood

While of more human ancestry than most of his kin, you would not mistake Hâwmâr for a human by any run. His skin still burns the same red despite his softened complexion, and he still bleeds sugar-sweet blood that is well known to his kin on the forefront of battle.

AGE: 22

SEX: Male

Height: ~5’8~

WEIGHT: ~150~

EYES: Ember Orange

HAIR: Slicked back, crow black.

SKIN: Cherry Red

FORCE SENSITIVE: No.

KNOWN LANGUAGES:

Sith | Native | Spoken and Written

Of course, growing up a Sith Pureblood in the Sith Empire, he would be quite well tuned to the language of the Sith. It is his preferred language, and the one he speaks most often within the Cohort, though he is able to hold conversations just as well in Basic. Due to this being his much preferred and first language however, he still does carry quite an accent when speaking Galactic Basic.

Galactic Basic | Fluent | Spoken and Written

Good old Basic, there isn’t many planets you’ll find where there isn’t at least a plurality of people that speak this Lingua Franca. Despite that, it is’nt Hâwmâr’s best language and it certainly didn’t come to him easy. The way it handles grammar, specifically it’s morphology, was so foreign to him that it took some time for him to adjust properly to it.

STRENGTHS

Charge at Whistle’s Call

The All-Massassi Cohort is a line infantry company, based out of the belief of long warfare. They are accustomed to building trenches, shelling positions, and charging those now shelled out positions. This trench-warfare is second nature to Hâwmâr by now, and he lives for it more than he would want to say.

Rolling Fire

The most important part of a charge is actually being able to make it across the way as you do so. Hâwmâr has gained a penchant for being able to keep his weapon trained on targets, to do at the least, suppressive fire, while approaching a position. Jogging, running, sprinting, in the back of a vehicle. If at all possible, Hâwmâr has adapted to mobile fire tactics.

WEAKNESSES

Impulsive

Hâwmâr has always been one that wants quick results, and he wants those results now. This has caused a personality that is rather impulsive and will gut-react to things quicker than he has a chance to think on them. For things that are muscle memory or drilled into him, this can still end well, but sometimes it can manifest as fumbling over which way to run during a charge, or deciding if the enemy is close enough to use his shovel or if the distance would be too awkward for his blaster.

Short-Sighted

Tying into his impulsive nature and need for results, Hâwmâr also tends to be irrevocably shortsighted on many things. The current here and now is the only thing that matters, which helps him live in the moment, but also drowns out any thinking beyond the current situation he finds himself in.

APPEARANCE

Hâwmâr is a Sith Pureblood of the brick shithouse variety, built rather wide instead of tall. He would have, in all honesty, made a great line backer in anyone’s football team, though he never really was one to develop the muscles for that. Instead he makes up for that in firm footing, a strong posture, and a smirk that could drop someone dead as quick as a blaster bolt. His features are rather plain, the type of smooth jawed, even complected, and small nosed type of man that you would swear you recognized on the street. Cheekbones that aren’t too far out but not too far in. The only really mentionable thing outside of his fire red skin would be his lips, which are rather fuller than that of a normal man’s, but past that, he has a very normal and mundane shape to his face.

BIOGRAPHY:

Born on Vjun, the Lurais family had developed a reputation by his birth for having seasonal migration patterns between the different Sith Worlds. They remained close to their native culture throughout their time on each planet, and made sure that as the generations passed, they never forgot who they were. By and large, many members of the Lurais family still pray and venerate the old god Yavin, and still hold true to the old rituals of their people.

When Hâwmâr was born, and the call for conscription came, he wasn’t lucky enough to escape the raffle. So he was off, fighting in His Majesty’s Army to a military drum. World after world, conquest after conquest, until the call of defiance came.

It was a simple choice for him, and plenty enough other of his kin, to follow the banner of the Iron Sun.

EQUIPMENT:

Imperial Strike Force Combat Armor Mk. I

His suit has seen enough combat and worn enough scars to look as much of a storied person as Hâwmâr is, but beyond that, it does it’s job well. Paint patterns from a hundred different fronts still scrape at the edges of the plating, and the cloth has so many stich repairs through it that it’s arguable it isn’t the same garment anymore. He wouldn’t have it any other way though. One of the few things that has remained no matter the damage is the runic inscription of the Cohort on his right shoulder plate, carried on all members of the company.

KXR SFR-58 'Bozdugan' Blaster Rifle

It’s ugly, clunky, and probably would serve better as a doorstop than a combat weapon, but Hâwmâr wouldn’t anything else at his side when he goes screaming across the battlefield. It’s scrapped and battered, sections of it’s paneling having peeled off, but the SFR-58 still fires like a nailgun and drops enemies of the New Order just as well.
