Praetoria Vonil/Telepathy (Training/YasuoFunTime)

Meta had been dying to pick up some of the basic Imperial Knight forms. For example, the aggressive form Praetoria Vonil. @[member="Yasuo"] had taken him up on his offer. Both had decided they would practice in the Gardens Of Roan. As, it was an ideal spot to practice such things. Meta sat crossed legged, his cloak bundled up in a pile neatly four metres away, his helmet sat atop the bundle, Meta's long grey hair dwindled in the air, he sat meditating. Awaiting the arrival of his companion. Meta had stocked up to twelve proxy droids, all standing at attention awaiting further orders. The summers breeze was gentle on Meta's skin as he sat, leaving him in an undisturbed relaxation until Yasuo arrived.

A training saber sat a few inches in front of him. He had been using telekinesis to lift the blade, break it down and rebuild it over and over as practice before Yasuo arrived.

It was a great day. The sun was shining, it was warm, there was little wind and Yasuo would finally learn some new things. Not that he didn't train, he had a lot of training to do every time he wakes up and before he goes to bed, but he hasn't learned anything new every since he got knighted by the Jedi. One might ask: ''If you got knighted by the Jedi, why are you with the Fel Imperium?'' and it would be a valid question, to which the answer simply is that the Jedi aren't what they once were. Yasuo wanted to be a Jedi just like his father was, but the Jedi of this era were nothing like the ones his father had told him about. The new Jedi are more interested in political power, territory and destroying the Sith than upholding the Jedi Code and bringing peace and Justice to the galaxy, whereby the Imperial Knights seemed like they were just that. Bringers of Peace and Justice.

Yasuo finally arrived at the place where he was supposed to meet with @[member="Meta"]. He was already meditating in the Gardens of Roan. His Jedi cloak and his mask had been bundled up a couple of meters away from him, making the Jedi look quite different from how he usually did. Yasuo wore the same thing he always did. The blue pants, durasteel wrist-guards, no shirt, a blue shawl and the shoulder armor. ''Good day, Mr. Meta, how are you today?'' He asked in his usually laid back attitude.

Meta sensed the presence of @[member="Yasuo"] before he had arrived, but only acknowledging his presence once he had replied. Meta slowly near silently took to his feet, standing up straight. He did not face Yasuo, but simply tilted his head in his direction. His hair guarded the features on his face from that distance. His deep tiger like yellow eyes burning through his hair. "Greetings Yasuo. I'am fine." Meta said, turning around finally. Revealing his scar filled face and tiger eyes to Yasuo. There was a small sign of a smile on his near unreadable features. Meta folded his arms behind his back. The training saber began to float into the air, then maintained its position beside Meta. "I've been waiting here for a while. Are you ready to begin?" He asked, an eyebrow raised towards his fellow Imperial. Meta walked forward towards him, then the training saber followed. Extending his left arm, he grasped the blade in the palm of his hand. Then, let both arms fall to his sides as he reached Yasuo.

Turning his attention to Yasuo, he was wearing his regular attire. The same attire he had seen him wearing during his time at the Jedi Temple. However, Meta studied and practiced at both temples and other places of knowledge. Sometimes Meta wondered why Yasuo had left the order, but this wasn't the time or place for such inquiries. It was time to practice.

''That's good to hear, friend, and sorry for making you wait.'' He looked at the droids when he started talking again ''Sure, are those the droids we're going to practice against?'' Yasuo had already trained against Droids once, during the time at the Jedi Temple, when he had met his former Master for the first time. It was the day he had learned the basics of Soresu and started his training under Master Grayson. By now he was no longer a Padawan, but a fully fledged Jedi Knight. He had trained in a couple of other Forms since then, for instance Ataru, a very aggressive form, and he had heard or read about other forms, like Shi-Cho or Makashi, but he had never heard about the form he would be learning with Meta this day. The form was Praetoria Vonil and apparently it was one of the Forms the Imperial Knights were trained in, since the Imperial Knights required at least one of two Lightsaber Combat Forms trained to become an Imperial Knight and Yasuo was trying to become one of them. He wanted to do it in honor of the ideals his father had stood for before he had passed away and the Imperial Knights were perfect for him to do so. He would train the Lightsaber Form today, add it to the practice schedule he had made up for himself and soon become an Imperial Knight.

Sorry for the long wait *slaps himself* I was too distracted by other things :C *slaps himself again*

"I've done some reading on this form. All the data is pretty vague, however I believe it's like a very well co-ordinated mix of Shii-Cho and Shien. So a little something like this perhaps." Meta didn't want to say anything for definite. He wasn't too sure himself, however he displayed some knowledge of Shii-Cho and Shien through his use of quick and powerful strokes with the simplicity of Shii-Cho, however it was obvious this was a two man job. "It's obvious it's a team form. So, I've brought the proxy droids for practice, and I'd like to practice telepathy whilst we fight. That way we can communicate." Meta said, working on the data pad he had brought.

Setting up the droids was easy, but getting relies from Yasuo was the hard part. However, he was willing to try. "First off, we should try some telepathic techniques before we begin." He offered, pacing back and forth with the data pad under his arm. He would await Yasuo's reply before he made any further actions, standing still and turning his attention to @[member="Yasuo"] completely.

A Form that mixed Shii-Cho and Shien did sound very interesting, especially since it could help Yasuo learn both of those Forms as well. Yasuo was aspiring to become a master of as many Lightsaber Combat Forms as possible and for that reason he had already started training Niman, which was a Form that included every Form except for Makashi, ht second Form. Learning a Form consisting of a mix between Shii-Cho and Shien should thus not be very hard, but then his friend told him about the telepathic technique he wanted to train. To understand why this was such a bad thing one must know one thing about Yasuo: He is terrible when it comes to techniques that don't involve throwing things or enhancing his own physical abilities, every other form of using the Force was a lot harder for him to learn. The reason for this was probably that Yasuo had gotten into the mindset of a bladesman, only caring about his surroundings and his own physical skills, not about things like Telepathy. It would be quite amusing for Meta to see how much he would fail at trying to learn this technique, but that would be over once they got to the fighting. Because if there's one thing Yasuo is good at it's fighting and even though he preferred to go the peaceful route of negotiation, he could hold his own against powerful foes. ''Sure why not, but I'll have to warn you, I'm quite abysmal when it comes to learning things like telepathy, so please don't get impatient with me.''

"It's simply really, its like when your using force push." Meta explained, showing by example as he used the force to send a wave, knocking over a few boxes. "But instead, you are pushing your thoughts to another, not to a physical form." He explained, turning to Yasuo; Meta concentrated. Projecting his thoughts to Yasuo through the force. He closed his eyes, "Do not speak, use your mind..." He whispered, projecting one concentrated thought to Yasuo. -Run your thoughts along the current of the force...- The thoughts echoed in Meta's and Yasuo's mind. He then opened his eyes, awaiting Yasuo's reply through the force. Keeping his mind open and free, he allowed Yasuo's force signature to slip inside. Giving Yasuo's thoughts access to his own, he could feel the force flowing through him.

At peace he was, the force was like any other tool in his arsenal. However, it was the deadliest of all the weapons he carried, it could be used in any and all situations; well. Most situations.

Meta's explanation helped a bit, but he still wasn't very sure how to do it. He knew how to push something with the force, but he didn't know how to push his thoughts using the Force and that was exactly what he had to do. Then his thoughts were interrupted by Meta's voice suddenly echoing in his mind. Yasuo was startled by the sudden and unannounced voice he heard in his mind. He had never been spoken to by someone using telepathy. It was a new experience for him and he wondered if Meta had been startled the first time someone had talked to him telepathically as well. Then he refocused again. He wanted to try it somehow. He had no idea of how to do it, but he knew he would have to do it somehow. After a couple of failed attempts, which consisted of him staring at Meta's face with an almost comically concentrated face and trying to say something in his mind that would somehow reach Meta, he sighed. This wouldn't work, there had to be another way. Then Yasuo tried meditating for a bit, while standing and only for a minute, when he finally felt something. It was as if a barrier had been removed. He thought for a second he was able to feel what Meta was feeling and then when he decided to try again, this time he was sure he would be able to do it. - Hello? - His voice was echoing when he talked and he felt as if he was directly saying it to Meta, not just thinking it.

Meta felt Yasuo's words in his mind, sensing the confusion and frustration his first attempts had brought, however his most recent attempt had proven to be successful; leaving a triumphant feeling in both Cadets -Good! Yes, that's it. This can be used for battle instead of openly communicating to your team mate.- Meta nodded before turning to the droids. "Activate. Run program 8." The droids were silent for a moment before their eyes sprung to life. Empty shells, but what little force signature they emitted, he felt. "Yasuo, over here. Now, prepare to defend yourself." -We'll have to use coordinated attacks against multiple foes.- He said, igniting the blade in his hand. He took a step back from the proxy droids as they activated, their rusty bronzed feet clamping against the ground. "Are you ready for this?" He asked, turning his head to his fellow Cadet. Returning his attention to the proxy droids, he put his blade in a traditional Shii-Cho position, awaiting Yasuo's arrival.

It seems Yasuo had done it. He had finally contacted someone using Telepathy. It still took some concentration on his part and he certainly wasn't able to use it as easily as Astrian did, but it was a beginning. He would try to use it to communicate every now and then, just to practice it a bit more. He was sure that someday he would be able to use it to the extent Astrian did, but that day wasn't going to come anytime soon. Then he turned to his friend again. The droids had just activated after Astrian had issued a command. They sprung to life and Astrian got ready to fight. After Austrian's voice sounded in his mind once again, he nodded and got ready to fight. He drew his Lightsaber and activated its blade. It illuminated everything around it in a golden light that Yasuo had grown accustomed to seeing. He didn't use the weapon a lot, preferring to find peaceful ways to solve problems, but over time even he had to use the blade more often and now was another one of those times. He entered a battle-ready stance and braced himself for a long training exercise.

The proxy droids sprung to life. Plain white blades activating and filling the air, the proxy droids charged forward. Astrian sprung to life; move forward with speed that surpassed that of the proxy droids. -We'll have to focus on a multiple targets together, get over here.- He ordered, deflecting two of the blades that came in his direction.
He was surprised by @[member="Yasuo"]'s ability to speak through the force so quickly; however this wasn't the time for thought. He was engaged in combat; he would need his concentration to face the proxy droids. Without Yasuo's intervention however, he wasn't going to keep up his defences for long.

''Let's do this.'' Were the Knight's only words. He readied himself for the droid's attack and immediately had to block a couple. Afterwards he had to dodge to the right to avoid being hit by a droid's blade that was coming down towards the ground with great speed. He didn't have any time to block the blade, since he was already locked with two of the droid's blades, so he figured the best way would be to dodge. Then, Yasuo moved closer towards Astrian, creating a sort of ring of defense with him, as the droids slowly started to surround them. ''We'll really need to work together for this one, even if they're just proxy droids!''
