Practicality (Open)

She took the bottle back and for a brief moment let the padawan have what she deserved. Pettiness was human nature after all before she was speaking and moving over to her "Good news is you are not going to die... The bad news is you shall most likely have a nasty hang over. Now calm your mind before it really starts to hurt and feel for it. Feel for the foreign liquid in your body and that burning sensation until you can almost grasp it."

Still fighting the pain Yura could hear [member="Cathbodua"] give instructions. She nodded as she found herself on her back, breathing heavily while trying to focus. She tried to think clam thoughts while reaching inside with the force to find the poison. It was tough given how her insides still hurt. She was having trouble breathing and sweat was forming on her brow. She kept her eyes closed the whole time, reaching inward before finding it. She had to get rid of it. She kept breathing as she used the method taught to her before by Cath. She had to dissuade it little by little. As the moments passed she could feel it starting to work. Less and less her body ached.

She looked to be having a panic attack almost but the jedi wasn't going to just say whiskey wouldn't kill her. A hang over she could deal with sure, might send her drunk into the mess hall to throw up but she wouldn't let her come to harm. A look on her face while she held a hand over the girls head to see how she was doing and keep herself focused on not letting her get to sick. "Keep working at it."

Eventually the last bits of whatever was inside her began to subside. Yura felt it slowly leaving her system. She could breath easier. She could relax more. She didn't feel as though she had some horrible little monster growing inside her chest ready to pop out. When it was over she finally opened her eyes, breathing a little more calmly again. She sat up looking to [member="Cathbodua"] and giving a relieved smile. She was about to say something before a loud belch escaped her lips.
"Excuse me...." she giggled.

[member="Yura Fontaine"]

There we go, the belch was helpful and it was showing the girl wasn't going to be to sick maybe... Or it was prelude to her ruining the undergarments the jedi was wearing.... She was suspecting either way. "You are doing good, wait until you have to use actual poisons other then alcohol. A skilled jedi can protect themselves and others with focus, it is the extension of one being selfless to take the poison into yourself to save another."

Yura was a little surprised to hear what she took wasn't poison but alcohol. it made a little more sense though, since she'd never had any in her entire life. Still the effects of whatever brand or make had a very bad taste that stayed on her tongue. At least she was doing good, and she agreed that if it came to it she would take a poison first. At least it meant not having someone else die from it.
She stood, wobbling a bit, before saying "Thank you, Master [member="Cathbodua"] ." Another little burp exiting her mouth.

She was looking at her and raised an eyebrow to it. "There is no need, these are skills a jedi should know. Most won't teach you like this but their methods are not wrong... Lacking, smetimes circular and vague but with some talent you can find the point. For now don't try and do to much. Your energy will be sapped and the alcohol in your system can still be strong. I doubt heavily you were able to purge all of it."

It was true. While the more violent parts of it were gone the alcohol still lingered. That was why Yura looked a little dizzy with a bit of a goofy grin on her face. She tried to stay as much to attention as possible but given how she looked it was clear not much of her sensibility was left. She only nodded her head while she seemed to sway a little bit .
"Any more to *hick* teach today, Master [member="Cathbodua"] ?" she asked.

[member="Yura Fontaine"]

"That depends on you padawan." Her eyes were looking at the girl though while she stood there. "If you are to tired to continue we can end it right now but your skills in overcoming situations. One must be able to push themselves when their bodies are wracked with pain or sickness. Be able to walk off the hurt. Those who can learn a great deal more about themselves, those who can't learn about themselves as well."

Hearing that Yura gave a little nod before saying "I think I can *hick* keep going, Master [member="Cathbodua"] . Maybe if I just...just..." Before she could finish Yura collapsed forward into Cath, her head falling into her chest. Apparently she couldn't hold her drink as well as she though as the next sound to come from her was snoring. She was out of it for now, unable to go on it seemed.

The jedi looked at the girl and stood there while she watched the sight. The padawan had passed out and she crossed her arms in disapproval. "Well that is one way to end a lesson." She didn't grab the girl or leave her... more bringing her hands out as she lifted with the force and rolled the padawan gently into the center of the room making sure she was on her side in case of vomit so she didn't drown in it. "I'll be here for when you wake up." The healer moved sitting down as she started to meditate and brought her hands to her knees lightly touching her fingers together while the tongue touched the roof of her mouth.

Yura was certainly in deep sleep. The way she snored and had herself sprawled out was almost like a child having a restless night. Yes the look on her face seemed so peaceful. Often she would roll to the side or just fidget a bit but in the end would wind up still asleep. Some of her rolling around forced her skirt up, at one point revealing that she was male in body; but not in spirit.

She raised an eyebrow at the girl but her eyes were not able to see anything.. She also wasn't one to care. A jedi was a jedi until they were not and she was pushing the force while the lights dimmed a little more. She rubbed some healing salve on her arms and legs. She had food to eat and water to drink... That would be enough for the time.
