DESCRIPTION

Pr0-b3 is a probe droid designed for exploration of the outer rim territories once held by the fearsome Bryn'adul, now colloquially known as the Scar Worlds. Designed for expeditions to these worlds, Pr0-b3 is a hardy droid that can generally withstand harsh environments, with the extreme exceptions of boiling lava-like terrain and sub-zero temperatures. Built for durability and not style, Pr0-b3's body can endure kinetic assaults including falls and attacks from native flora and fauna. While sturdy, a particularly aggressive fall or repeated attacks may damage the droid significantly, or at least its equipment. This droid is not particularly strong against lightsabers and repetitive blaster fire.

The primary tasks for Pr0-b3 are exploring terrain and gathering data such as generating maps, logging species, obtaining soil, air and flora samples, and marking any potentially unsafe areas or threats. Secondarily, Pr0-b3 can also be programmed to search for a specific item within the parameters of a known composition, energy signature, or another measurement. For example, this droid can be used to locate deposits of ore, tibanna gas, or a particular animal. It may also be used to locate a specific object when provided with a description or photo. While Pr0-b3 can locate individual beings, it is not an ideal droid to be used for locating hostile targets due to its clunky nature and relatively weak resistances to weaponry.

Pr0-b3 is equipped with a number of scanners, sensors, and tools to get the job done. A camera with holonet connection allows Pr0-b3's visual feed and stats to be analyzed in real-time, and manual remote control of the droid is an option as well. The survival knife attachment and miniature tractor beam included help Pr0-b3 to remove various obstacles, such as large rocks, fallen trees, and other obstructions. Deflector shielding, a stun ray, and a standard blaster help keep the droid safe while carrying out tasks.

As useful as this droid can be while exploring new and uncertain areas, its complex programming has an unintended side-effect of making this droid particularly cowardly. When faced with a new situation, Pr0-b3 automatically runs a check to determine the potential danger and assigns said danger a numerical risk score. If that score is too high, as it would be if the droid were asked to explore a spooky Sith shipwreck, Pr0-b3may require some encouragement to do its job.

Nice droid!
  • I can't accept the pinterest link, if the original artist posted the picture somewhere else originally. Please link the artstation link.
  • Please link the The Scar Worlds to the Affiliation.
  • And your ratings are overpowered (+1), please fix it, or simply delete the resistance area, this is not a combat droid, so the Resistances are optional.

For some reason the artstation source didn't show up in my reverse image search, thank you for finding it for me! All requested edits have been made.
