Poolhall Tango (open to bounty hunters) - ORC Dominion of the Vergesso Asteroids [Hex R-51]

Coren and Julius shifted off ship and Rosa settled at the top of the landing ramp resting on her knees, she let herself fall into the force fully, the web that coiled about the ship keeping it hidden from view shifted to the back of her mind and she pushed her awareness deeper into the pirates stronghold, moving both with Coren and ahead of him.

She found Jorus' mind racked with pain, close to, the minds of his wardens, dark, malicious and with nothing good in their intentions.

Coren's coming Jorus, hold on.

Rosa allowed the wardens minds to wash over her, then slipped through the cracks in their psyche and planted a very powerful urge to sleep. To drop where they stood and take a long hard nap.

Tweets chirps and whistles AB was rattling off things he was picking up.

"ok ok, I got it." She looked at the options, "OK..let's go this way, plug that path in keep us steady" Rekha looked at the paths large arcs, straight through and each an intersect point for Rekha to meet the ships. She looked the odds on the arc gave her a chance to prepare, and hopefully, it would help keep an element of surprise.

"How does Jorus keep getting into these things? Have you thought about it AB I mean he's always, hurt, lost, missing, or exploring. I wish he would explore than the other the three. Makes he wonder about him sometimes."

Anyhow she was moving as fast as space would allow and not get shot up.

Without warning or weapons fire, so far as Jorus' pain-addled mind could discern, the Ta'jar Blood Gangers dropped hard. He pulled himself upright and kicked open the busted cage. Every move exaggerated the pain in his ribs. He'd been very, very lucky: a couple weeks of rest should do the job, bacta included.

A ganger's blaster served to pump the unconscious men full of stun bolts. Right around then, in came the cavalry.

"Coren, feth yes." Jorus gestured at the fallen with the gun. "You brought Rosa Gunn, I'm guessing. Any trouble getting in?"

Porter, Coren's astromech was hoping to do its best to monitor everyone. That meant ensuring there were people outside the gang ship to assist with the retreat. Porter's owner had his own thing to do. And that meant the ship was falling to the droid for now. [member="Rosa Gunn"] was prepping the sick bay. The droid hoped it would be enough.

A message was to [member="Rekha Kaarde"]. ::Be ready::

Meanwhile, getting through the ship, Coren was taking down guards. He had the destination and was taking down the guards with stuns and barrier walls of pure energy.

"Rosa? You've got me and a ship." The corellian grinned. Grabbing the fallen blaster and handling it, butt first to Jorus, he nodded. "She's here. Julius too. You able to walk?"

[member="Jorus Merrill"] [member="Julius Sedaire"]

There was a slow, lazy grin as the doctor pulled in, mouthing a bit about his actions being Corellian, and he chuckled when she introduced herself. Standing up, Julius nodded to her as he shouted and waved his arms, suddenly ducking down under a hail of blaster fire. Smirking from ear to ear, he pulled out a long bandolier of flash bangs, mostly harmless, and pulled a pin. A steady beeping began, increasing in pitch and decreasing in time between each go.

"That was a warm-up dear. Name is Julius Sedaire. And *this* is straight from the CorSec playbook...Watch your eyes. Flash out..."

Standing again, the last bit on open comms even to the ship, he whirled the strap of explosives above his head, whooping and hollering just as the beeping turned to a sub-sonic whine as he stood. Every eye focused on him as he threw the collection of flash grenades up, and threw himself over Linna as a shield. It was rare, but they could sometimes explode in truth when bundled like that. Thermal feedback or something, the quartermaster had said, from too many flash segments too close.

A final beep, and a wave of heat and a whoomph as light filled the room like a small sun, blinding almost everyone in it.

"Corellian enough for you, ma'am, or do I need a wookie bodyguard?"

"Yeah, I can walk." Jorus stuffed one gun into his belt and kept the other one ready. Leaning on Coren, he headed for the door. "Julius is here? No wonder I heard something explode."

Chuckling hurt an awful lot, so he stopped doing that and focused on getting the feth out of the asteroid tunnels.

Soon enough they were looking at a thoroughly scorched docking bay. Not much stood between them and a safe evac. "Remind me to buy a round or twenty for you folks, Coren. I'd have been genuinely hosed."

[member="Julius Sedaire"]

Irritated but laughing, Linna shoved out from under his cover and recommenced plinking away. Her Adeptive-9 pistol wasn't the heaviest weapon around, not unless you crammed in some really good blaster gas. It was, however, pretty accurate at ranges like the inside of a docking bay. Linna found some satisfaction in driving the remaining Ta'jar Blood Gangers through a side door and out of serious-threat territory. After Sedaire's flashbang over, the Ta'jar didn't put up much of a fight. That was just fine with Linna, as she wasn't much of a fighter.

As the enemy fire died down, in came [member="Coren Starchaser"], supporting an injured Jorus Merrill. "Looks like another good day to be Corellian," said Linna over her shoulder, still hosing down the side door with blasterfire.

Rosa got to her feet as Coren and Jorus rounded the corner, relief washing over her expression. Padding down the landing ramp she extended the illusion field to engulf the hangar. Any of the blood gang that followed on their tail would be greeted with a very deserted and scorched hangar bay. It would serve to offer enough confusion for them all to get onto the ship.

"Hello Jorus." she greeted with a grin, taking his weight from Coren. He was still supporting wounds from the invasion of Utapau, never mind the fresh blaster wound in his side. "In trouble as always, I see." she teased "I've got him. Go." she told Coren, leading Jorus into the ship and towards the sick bay.

OBJECTIVE BLUE: Smash the Eight Ball

Location: Vergesso

"The others are reporting that their primary objective is soon to be accomplished" Wololo signaled to the rest of the crew.

"Form up with the rescue team once their primary objective is actually complete"

They have been patrolling in this asteroid field for a while, long enough for the boarding team to get their objective accomplished, or nearly so. It was time for Janick to stand ready to escort the boarding party back to the base on D'Qar. Or wherever they may want to unload and rest. Being among those asteroids was a hazard and they'd rather not stay in there any longer than absolutely necessary. Ouch, I don't want a repeat of Utapau; even though the enemy had that done to it, my own wingmen, too, she thought, while thinking about the risks of colliding against terrain, both hers and the wingmen's. By now they must have been turning around the "turbolaser-range sphere" around the ship where [member="Jorus Merrill"] and the others are two or three times, with no signs of reinforcements forthcoming on either side. She began to get restless, her face about to turn beet red; well, it was easy to get her face that color since her complexion was so pale. By now T-account must have realized that there were long moments of boredom in a starfighter sortie.

It was time to get out of this place. With Julius and Linna holding the line, it just felt so much safer. Coren had the Force, but what he was doing was moving a protective bubble around him and super rad teacher Trash Panda Actual. Any bolts would have to deal with that, and well, it was Coren. He may not be able to do much without absorbing some energy first hand, a bit of stunning, maybe some shocking, but damned if he couldn't protect himself.

"Thanks, Gunn." He said, opting to not use some playfully sexist phrase. Nope, this was serious. With Jorus supported, Coren pulled his blaster out, firing at hte door. "All aboard!" He shouted before hurrying up the gangway. Making his way up to the cockpit, he slapped the headset on and powered up the repulsors, engines coming online.

"Rekha, that you? Gonna be busting out of this ship somethin' fast. Causing a bit of a distraction would be nice. Coalition fleet, this is Starchaser. Tachyon Rising has precious cargo, escort would be nice." He turned his head and shouted into the hold of the ship. "Turrets are hot, if anyone so chooses!" And with that, power was to the thrusters.

"Package secure," Kit confirmed while she closed out the scans. The Fleetwood had disengaged stealth mode and traveled back to the asteroids, "orders now?"

"Contact Voith Mining, I'd like to establish an outpost for them here."

Fiolette took a seat on the upper level of forward operations, "inform the Coalition fleet we'll be establishing a small patrol route, consider it a test bed for the new ships."

"Got it," Rae acknowledged as she turned away from Fiolette's gaze and inputted the information into the console while Kit ran another scan. Farrah piloted the Fleetwood around the asteroids and calibrated the Fleetwood's sensors. While they hadn't done a lot, on the whole, to help the crew knew that the former grand admiral had plans for this sector and the mining operations seemed like a front but nevertheless that's what would be established here. Each one knew that securing raw and refined materials was essential to Primo Victoria's overall independence, "contact made, they're ready to send out a prefabricated installation."

"I'm forwarding you a few coordinates for sites," Kit added, "we can establish operations here once we scrap the Rakata Beta operations."

"You have my complete trust and faith, Kit."

Kit nodded and went about her work. Fiolette got one more look at her crew before exiting forward operations and entering the lift, "level one."

The computer chimed and moved the lift up. Level one was the captain's quarters and when the doors opened there was a small landing before you got to the door, and through the doors. The Galidraani woman stepped down past her small office and bathroom and down to where her living area and bed were. The captain's quarters were in a semi-circle shape the double-sided glasteel that surrounded her quarters worked much like a two-way mirror with the outer portion pulling double duty to absorb energy. At the centermost portion of her quarters was a small console, Fiolette activated this and made contact with one of her investors, "asteroids secured, we'll be establishing operations here soon."

"Excellent."

The message slipped in 'be ready' she arched a brow, "ok flyboy I'll be ready"

She sent a message back, "will be at intersection A in 20 minutes.....hope you are ready" [member="Coren Starchaser"] . "AB be ready"

Sometimes she didn't know what be ready meant, she had a feeling that this be ready was all about full throttle get out of dodge. She could do that. At the moment she felt she could do almost anything. The freedom of flying that she had loved since a child, the freedom of choice that she enjoyed since her escape all filled her soul with a sense of purpose, a sense of herself. She would always be the Lucky Lady no matter who tried to take it from her.

Her friends right now needed that Luck, and she was going to bring it to them.

OBJECTIVE BLUE: Smash the Eight Ball

"Coalition fleet, this is Starchaser. Tachyon Rising has precious cargo, escort would be nice" Coren transmitted over the ORC starfighter frequencies.

"Form up at intersection Aurek, fan out in a spherical formation; we have secured the VIP to exfil"

"Roger, roger"

What happened then was that @Rekha Karrde was also forming up at intersection A. The Ta'jars were going to regret fighting the ORC, including but not limited to, me, and not simply because of Dokkalfarsed. Three squadrons out there protecting the package; this is different from Dokkalfarsed where exfil wasn't the objective, she thought, with the vision from Dokkalfarsed flashing in her mind while she was flying towards intersection A. That was a dangerous proposition since she was in an asteroid field and each asteroid was, in her mind, a chance to suffer from a repeat of Utapau. To avoid collision against the terrain. Once she arrived at that intersection, she found the Tachyon Rising ([member="Coren Starchaser"]) at that location as well. With the package that was designated Trash Panda Actual in the briefing for that mission; she remembers clearly what Force-signature that person so designated have, with him being alongside her on several occasions, in no particular order: ForceCon 850, Ancora, Alakaha, Dokkalfarsed, Zonju, Caupona, Utapau.

"Watch it, we have to be careful before we can safely jump out of the system"
