DESCRIPTION
The Podnaught is a launch platform contained within a civilian 45-feet high-cube container, allowing it to secretly carry ready-to-fire ammunition without arousing suspicions. Its compact launch assembly allows it to house missiles under four configurations based on the size of the ammunition so, while the configuration can be changed to fit its cargo, such as concussion missiles, proton torpedoes, proton rockets and assault concussion missiles, it can only house one type of ammunition at a time. It also comprises a fire control system and a sensor suite so that it can acquire targets, with fire control taking place remotely.

It also includes a retractable roof. However, to maintain appearances as a civilian cargo container, it does not come equipped with any propulsion system, so it cannot move under its own power. For best results, because the launcher assembly is, in fact, axis-mounted, the use of guided ammunition is strongly recommended. Finally, for active deployment of Podnaughts, it is recommended not to have a length-wise stack longer than two units long.

Strengths:
  • Can be easily concealed as a civilian high-cube container
  • Can fit a variety of ammunition
  • Can be stacked for storage
Weaknesses:
  • Limited ammunition
  • Cannot move on its own power
  • Can only fire one ammunition type at a time
  • Long reload times (especially if you want to change ammunition types)
  • Ammunition is vulnerable once the roof or the doors are open
  • When stacked, the roof cannot be opened
