Description: A miniature version of the feral Vornskr. Pocket Vornskr ™ is a bit of a misnomer- they do not truly fit in a pocket, but could fit happily into a largish handbag. Smol, loyal, affectionate, and surprisingly fierce, these creatures fit a lot of personality into a small package.

Distinctions: Sleek and lithe, these miniature canines have pointed ears, and are available with long or short fur, and with docked or undocked tails (see below).

Strengths:
(+)Trainable: Pocket Vornskr ™ are clever and can learn a variety of simple commands and even tricks.
(+)Force Sensing: Pocket Vornskr ™ are keyed into the Force. They can be easily trained to react in certain fashions when they sense it, effectively alerting their owner to Force Users/Use in the area. Pocket Vornskr ™ with undocked tails may act aggressively toward such sources, while those with docked tails will merely exhibit interest.
Weaknesses:
(-)Smol: Their small stature negates many of the dangerous qualities of their larger cousins. While they can certainly bite (which may require stitches), they are no longer accomplished predators. While Pocket Vornskr ™ with undocked tails still technically have a sting, it is not worse than a bee sting to most sentients- a painful annoyance at most.
(-)Sterile: Like all GenPals animals, Pocket Vornskr ™ are sterile to discourage irresponsible breeding.
(-)Proprietary: Like all GenPals animals, Pocket Vornskr ™ require GenPal brand food to remain healthy and within warranty. GenPals animals fed non-branded food will eventually weaken and possibly die, as they are engineered with certain nutrition needs only their proprietary blend contains in the right ratios.

General behavior: Pocket Vornskr ™ are canine to the core. Deeply loyal and affectionate, they tend to bond to a single person- while they can be heavily socialized to accept multiple people into their household, there will always be that one, special person. Playful and active, they require regular exercise or they can become destructive, chewing on various household objects (GenPals is not responsible for items destroyed by your Pocket Vornskr). Easily trained to do their business outside, walk on a leash, do tricks and other basic commands, the Pocket Vornskr is a true companion animal. They can be aggressive with unknown people, and should be monitored when meeting new people or when playing with other animals. Despite their small stature, they can be surprisingly fierce of heart, and do not always have the proper wisdom necessary to realize they can be picked up by the scruff of the neck by most things they meet. Pocket Vornskr ™ are incompatible with the upcoming SalaFrander ™ introduction from GenPals.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
After contracting with the Sith Empire to help clear out the Vornskr and Ysalamiri overpopulation on Navrozh, GenPals kept several samples of each. The idea to turn the Vornskr into a portable companion animal was easy and popular at the labs. In truth after the last few special orders, this was relaxingly simple project for the GenPals scientists. Even Larry who had been sulking since the delivery of his last pet project couldn't help but enjoy himself. Small, loyal, and eager to please, they are an ideal pet for those who don’t mind their propensity to bark and growl at strangers…. Or those who wish to know when a Force User is around.
