SPECIAL FEATURES
  • The Tool for the Job - PNCR contains tools included to assist with its main task of assembling a rifle. The base of its claws include little wheels that can spin, and so when PNCR grabs a hold of say, a very long barrel, it can rapidly spin said barrel to screw it into place.
  • Routinely Focused - PNCR was designed very specifically to assist its owner in the assembling of a rifle. As a result PNCR is extremely proficient at this single task and can aid its owner in a flawless routine to assemble her rifle.
  • Quirky - Due to its generally amateur construction PNCR has several behavioral quirks that make it deviate from standard protocols. As a result it may appear to have more personality.
STRENGTHS
  • The Eye - The main optic scanner at the end of PNCR's tail is extremely complex and powerful, capable of varying levels of zoom, lenses, filters, and spectrums, there is very little that can hide from its primary scanner.
  • Portable - PNCR is relatively small and light, enough so that it can be carried by its owner like a backpack as it wraps its main arms around their neck and snaps its claws together. In this position PNCR can stay attached to its owner while utilizing its powerful scanner to assist directly.
  • Legacy - PNCR was rebuilt from the remains of several droids, but mainly these parts came from recon and scanner droids. As a result it excels in sensor and optic based information, and with its sensors can track both tremors in the ground and even heat signatures left behind, making it an excellent tracker.
WEAKNESSES
  • Amateur Hour - The creator of PNCR did not have the deepest knowledge of how to rebuild a droid from the parts of others, and so PNCR contains various flaws in its design mostly relating to its internal logic. Trying to get PNCR to do anything it wasn't designed to do is relatively difficult as a result.
  • Disarmed - The only 'weapon' PNCR has are its hydraulic claws, but these are more meant to be used in the removing of obstacles and the assistance of assembling it's owners rifle. It is very incapable in a direct fight.
  • Clumsy - PNCR doesn't have the best movement capabilities, it's rather bulky and clumsy, occasionally tripping over certain obstacles, getting stuck in spaces it tried to squeeze through, or rolling over onto its back. Its owner often needs to keep an eye on it for these reasons.
DESCRIPTION
PNCR is the pet project of Riven Riven who assembled it from an assortment of discarded droids, these were mostly recon, scouting, and scanner droids. The intent was originally for her to be able to create a droid that could assist her in the assembling and disassembling of her sniper (Which has to be done in-field). But while she was working on PNCR she took that chance to also have it double as a spotter and tracker to assist in her work. The end result, while a little quirky, did what she needed it to do. PNCR was an extremely capable spotter, and able to perform its main function of assisting in the assembly of her rifle.

PNCR, or Pincer as she sometimes refers to it, is a relatively small droid that takes on the general appearance of a scorpion. It has four legs with which to walk, two manipulator arms that end in hydraulic claws, and a long flexible tail with its main optical scanner at the end of it. PNCR does also have two much more basic optic sensors at the front of its 'face' if ever should someone take a lucky shot and shoot out its main scanner. The droid can also communicate rather actively in Binary.

The droid is relatively bulky in build which only lends itself to its clumsy behavior, but it also provides it just a little more protection from kinetic based attacks. It is however fairly defenseless against lightsabers or energy-based weapons. PNCR after all was never built for direct combat, but to be more of an accessory to it.

When spotting with its main scanner PNCR can hide behind walls, debris, and other obstructions to keep its main body safe while relaying information to its owner on the whereabouts of the enemy, details of terrain, weather, wind, and accurate distance. In the event that it is tracking a target it can use both its tremor and heat-pit sensors to not only track the vibrations in the ground if the target is close enough, but the heat signature left behind. PNCR is however fairly slow, and so such tracking becomes more of a persistence hunt than an active chase.
