Sawa Ike

The Dark Matriarch Darth Shōjō
Location: The Spires of Hell

The Spires of Hell were aptly named, just two large narrow points in a massive asteroid field that used to be a planet and intermittent gravity and dangerous space creatures while she was moving. The armor that was being constructed by the sisterhood quite a sight compared to some and slowly as Sawa was working on it she checked the datapad on the wrist was activated while she was climbing up the one platform to find her apprentice. The platforms and the swirling black mist that was floating around as Sawa crouched down letting the visor change to show the silver of her eyes as they moved around. The helmet opening to reveal her face while she was moving a little more.

Well this was one hell of a place to find yourself. To think that THIS was the first mission Maruelle was assigned to now that she had officially joined both the One Sith and the Covenant of the Black Rose. Both had been huge steps for Maruelle to accept, given how short a time it was since she was freed by the Sith from the criminals that held her captive for over a year. So much pain had still remained in her heart. She wanted to turn that pain into power. Power that could be used against anyone and everyone who would try to harm her or her people ever again. Some would call it a dark path. Maruelle saw it as a necessary one.
Given the dark atmosphere of these "Spire of Hell" Maruelle was cautious while flying around with her new master [member="Sawa Ike"] as they climbed. Well "climbing" was more of what Sawa was doing. Maurelle herself, being an As-Aki, was using her natural gift to fly as her means of ascending higher. She had stopped at one of the platforms before looking down to where Sawa was, waiting for her to catch up.
Still watching she called down "I thought the teacher was supposed to lead the student."

Sawa looked up at the flying As-Aki and she didn't glare as much as narrow her eyes and the silver in them glowed with a tinge of gold along them. She was letting herself enjoy it though while climbing up and speaking with her armors gauntlet dig into the rock. There was a jump system but jumping here where the gravity could turn and flip on them she could quite literally jump and then have the spire turn changing the axis to smack her into the rock or cast her off into space..... or up which would have become down while she was climbing more. "Perhaps but all you will learn need to be willing to follow in order to lead apprentice and here is a place where going ahead is and will be a dangerous thing." Her hand though carried her up while she was letting the strengthening systems pull her up onto one of he platforms while she was standing there and it was still such a long distance. "We will have to see what you can do with the force my apprentice."

Despite the warnings [member="Sawa Ike"] gave Mareulle was not that impressed. She thought to herself how It was all a matter of proving how strong you were in front of the Sith. Mareulle intended to prove as such as she set her wings and began to fly up towards the next platform. However, as she flew, she began to feel what Sawa had warned her about. The gravity began to feel heavier. She found herself fighting against the pulling sensation. Like being dragged down by some unseen hand. Her struggling soon proved in vain as she fell back. She managed to grab onto Sawa's shoulder before fully falling back all the way down to her death. She pulled herself up onto her master's shoulder before seeing the look on her face. She said nothing, but it was clear she was annoyed about being proven wrong.

Sawa looked at she was proven right but she wasn't going to say anything when she felt the sensation from her apprentice. The shifting gravity making her feel heavy while she crouched and dug a hand into the rock slowly pushing herself forward until the gravity changed again. She was just glad the ship was magnetically clamps t the spire so it wouldn't fly away but it was going to be an annoying thing before she was climbing up the spire again going for one of the platforms as her gauntlet hooked to the stone before she was leaping a little anchoring herself down with a small jump then slamming down. "I see the bravado has changed" She said it with a grin while looking up to the higherpoints of the spires while the swirling black mist teleported with screeches when they encountered a starweird and seemed to be having an epic and large clash.

Maruelle still said nothing, even as [member="Sawa Ike"] had to rub the fact she was wrong in her face. She stuck her tongue out at her before quickly looking back to the task at hand. Watching her master climb felt like being atop a giant trying to scale the largest mountain in the galaxy. She perked up at the mists before hearing the deadly screeches above. She looked around, her eyes having trouble seeing at first, before the starweirds came into view. She was surprised, of course, but more for having never seen such creatures before. She watched as they clashed in the air while glancing back to her master now and then. Were they to fight these things or try to avoid them? And what would happen if that had failed?

Sawa stopped scaling up and she was moving, with the creatures there on a section she was climbing to where she could keep climbing up higher and higher while moving herself and her apprentice. The creatures were dangerous and aside from a sithspawn that could summon them there was little ways to deter or control them and even the golden ropo was questionable for controlling them sicne they still killed the sith. She got a handful of rock and was climbing up past them avoiding looking towards them and letting the armor conceal them while she made her way up to another platform as she pulled herself up and rolled over onto her back as the gravity was pulling her down with a grunt. "Oh this place is strong in the darkside but when it decides to be angry at you it really sucks."

Arriving at the platform had caused Mauelle to roll over on her side the moment [member="Sawa Ike"] had done so herself. She tumbled before looking up at the beasts still flying around. From there she could hear her master saying how strong yet dangerous this place was. Maruelle gave a winded "No kidding." before trying to pick herself up. The gravity was still so strong that she only managed to her knees. As she knelt near her master's face she asked "So what now? We can't get much higher with that thing flying around, and we can't reach it either."

Sawa was thinking about it and what they could do, her thoughts of getting to the top or was in the bottom.... screwy huh? She was looking over some of the things while she was moving with her attention into what she found was a less gravity heavy area of the platform. She was looking up while experimenting and feel the darkside around them as she was crossing her legs. "This may be as good a place as any then." Some thoughts were going through her mind while she sat there sitting herself up in the heavy gravity as she was focusing on the armor and the darkside energies of the force. She wasn't an alchemist but pushing the force into her armor and her swords she understood while speaking to her apprentice. "We come here in the sight of the ancient ones to empower this one, may her powers flourish and chest heave from the jedi she kills.... all hail the mighty quantum." Sawa was grinning though to her self now and speaking. "That was a joke we are goign to work to teach you shaping.... specifically fire shaping so you can incinerate our enemies."

As [member="Sawa Ike"] sat up the little As-Aki looked up to her before hearing her give some sort of rights. She looked around in confusion, wondering if she was serious about this being why they came up here, but was soon proven wrong when Sawa indicated it was a joke. She rolled her eyes before her master spoke of using fire shaping techniques. She perked and said "Now we're talking. So what do I have to do? How do I set people on fire?"

Sawa was looking at her and she held her hands out, the flames sparking over the gauntlets as she was letting the energies dance over her palms and she was channeling the force into the armor. Giving the plates a cherry red glow that dulled to an orange before she was speaking. "The first step is to understand it, to little energy being released and the flames will not spark or will burn out. To much and it will burn hot plenty but will quickly disappear as you expand all of your energy. YOu will need to learn a sort of balance but not like the jedi do. You will need to find a balance in yourself and then." She was sitting there as the fire was dancing and she was throwing out jets of flame from her hands.

Maruelle gave a surprised gasp when [member="Sawa Ike"] showed the fiery glows around her hands. She watched them dance while hearing Sawa explain how it worked. Finally as she finished Marulle looked down at her own hands. Tiny as they were the idea of sparking any sort of fire from them would be an amazing feat. She flexed her fingers before looking back to her ans asking "How? How do I balance? What should I think of?"

Sawa continued to push the force into the armor to harden it and make it glow. She was pushing power and the force while thinking about what her apprentice could do and visualize. "That will have to be something for you to figure out, I can only tell you what you need but your mind and body will need to do the rest." She was watching it though and as the armor was hardening and feeling the force energies pouring itno it. She let her attention to the apprentice though while she had some more flame in her hands. "Your body will be capable and is capable to create the flames as you excite the air to vibrate and cause friction. That will produce the flame."

A little more explanation was enough for Maruelle to finally give it a shot. She nodded before holding out her hands in front of her. She tried to picture something that was a balance for herself. Something dark but a justification. She had just the idea, the fact that she was with the Sith in order to become a powerful As-Aki. It was not just for her sake but for the sake of her people. She wanted to defend them even if it meant becoming a darkside warrior in the process. Only they knew how to truly fight fro what she had seen and she did not want to give any raider or the like that came to her planet the chance. It was then as she focused on this that sparks began to pop from her hands. She jumped at first but tried to keep steady as more little sputters became larger and larger.

Sawa was seeing it, her attention and silvery eyes watching the little pixie as she had a grin on her face. She continued to channel and push the force energy into the armor more and more as it spread through the plates and weaving. She was watching small sputters of flame come from her apprentice and spoke. "There you g, find that balance and dedication to what you want. Then focus on it, the more powerful the feeling the more focused, the more it can recalled the easier it will become to eventually summon the flames to your hands."

Hearing her words Maruelle nodded while [member="Sawa Ike"] further explained. She took a deep breath and recited in her mind on what her master told her about feeling more focus. She'd closed her eyes for only a moment before the flames grew larger. They'd grown into fireballs that shot out and hit the ground, knocking Maurelle back both from the impact and from her own surprise at how powerful it was. A small smoldering spot ear Sawa's knees indicated where it had hit before the As-Aki tried to get back on her feet. "How was that?" she asked, dusting herself off.

Sawa was looking at the apprentice for a moemnt and then she managed to create flame and send it as her as the area near her knee was scorched and the apprentice was getting back up. A laugh was quickly suppressed though as the amusement went away and Sawa went back to her emotionless self with a grin on her face. "Very good, now slowly work with it to make a flame in you hand. Then hold it, not to hot and not to cold that it will go out. You need to find that comfort level to maintain the fire."

Hearing more instructions Maurelle said "So basically focus hard enough without burning myself. Got it." She took a deep breath after fixing herself before trying again. This time she was acting more carefully. she held her focus and kept both hands up in a cup position. Giving it enough time the fire began to emerge again. Now it started to form more smoothly into an actual ball of fire. She breathed while remembering [member="Sawa Ike"] had told her. She maintained it as long as she could while feeling the slight senses of heat here and there.

Sawa continued with her apprentice, pushing the force energy into the armor while she continued to watch her. "There you go my dear, you re getting it now slowly start focusing on other things, work to make the fire be like your wings pumping. Something that you do without thinking about it, that you can grasp and control as muscle memory." She was thinking about a greater way to explain it and aside from her bloodlust or prenatural abilities compared to most humans she was just better then them.

Maruelle did not take her eyes off the fireball in her hands. She continued to let it burn even as [member="Sawa Ike"] told her to further her practices by focusing and yet not. Acting more on instinct. She stood, the fire still in her hands, before turning and holding her arms outward. She held her arm out and felt the fire against her palm, slowly warming it. From there she felt it burst out and hit the ground, only now it was more of an intention as she smirked. She felt the good sensation of knowing she had created a small burst of fire. In the right method it could blind an enemy or set fire to an ammunition pile and destroy a whole bunker. Now Maruelle was starting to get the idea of what power she could control.
"Nice."
