Place of Relaxation (Open Social)

“Oh, rub it in, why don’t ya?” Javek said with a blank stare. He was of course, joking. But he felt a bit inferior to those who put in more time in the Order. It was a gross feeling, it made him feel all sticky inside.

As a short thought crossed his mind, he overheard an unfamiliar voice and looked over towards the newcomer. Looking about the bar, he noticed several others greet her in the fashion a Jedi Master would be. Sure, he didn’t know her name, but a Master deserves a respectful greeting.

He slide off his stool and bowed his head. “Greetings, Master Jedi.”

As she was greeted by more and more. Taking a sip of the fine Wine she plan to enjoy. Some of the face she knew by having them in one of her classes or even seeing them with other master in training. It felt right to let her hair down.

Even so wanting nothing to do with titles after all one could learn even from a youngling or even padawn. For that matter a non force users. As like herself have came to relieve all had their own idea and wisdom to share in the force. No one looked the force in the same way. Even know as she let herself feel those around.

It was the emotions feed back some good some that could use some humbling or even those they had gotten a good score on some testing or just who they where.

It was the ones that had nothing to gain that was the best ones in here. Deep in though she came out of it. To one saluting her even calling her Sir which made her chuckle a bit. Before she could answer There came another bow and a title. "Please do not salute me or called me Master. as I like to be called Maya when not in my robes, even then as I know some Master wouldn't agree but like to be able to keep it plain and simple, as if one was taking a stroll in a garden with a old friend or colleague." just hoping she had not came off to strong or even been understand.

"So, you know my name now, I would love to know you gentlemen names, also I don't believe I have seen you around before or at less please forgive me I have been away for a while, for personal reason." she wouldn't get into those reason like taking time off to raise hers and Xander's twin. Or that she been busy building a HQ for the Silver Cross fleet in different parts of the galaxy manly Levantine Space. As many of the fellow Silver been helping them out of lately. After all what would good neighbors do with each other but help them out.

Seeing someone else the look of her having that look of her mother could only be one person giving a smile to Orihime not knowing her personal but had went on mission in the past with her mother.

For now she would talk to the two that had came to her to give their respects. "What would be having to drink tonight."

Javek looked over to Sed as Maya asked her question. Javek didn't have anything to drink. If he were to answer though, he'd simple state sarcastically. "Why. My saliva, of course." But. He wasn't too big of a fan of being overly sarcastic, or being force pushed into oblivion, so instead he decided to just give the appropriate answer.

"I don't have anything to drink, Maya." He said with a smile.

George entered the cantina for a little drink and relaxation before heading off to his training. He had been through a couple of time and majority of the time it was empty or there was one or two people around, he would wave and sit at the bar deep in thought. This time same as the others he walks into the Cantina in his robes, two lightsabers hanging from his hips. He sees a few people at the bar engaged in a conversation, as he walks past he offers a gentle wave and smile and takes a seat 3 chairs down.

He orders a juice and quickly glances over to the group, seems like two Jedi Padawans, a member of the military and a female civilian? It was hard to tell what people's affiliations were at times but typically the Jedi wore the robes much like himself. He turned his attention back to the juice that sat in front of him as he expressed his thanks to the bartender. Sipping on the juice and letting the refreshing liquid revitalize the body as he begins to think about the training ahead.

The day had been an early one for Kal'n, then again, everyday started off extremely early compared to the rest of the galaxy. It was the norm for those training to become Jedi Knights, from Youngling to Padawan and Kal'n assumed Knights and Masters were even busier. So when Kal'n had finished going over the holo-recordings he had taken of his training session earlier he felt the need to get outside and be around people, he could only take so much of being alone with his thoughts. He'd drive himself crazy soon.

Though not wanting to spend too much time away, he had his Knight trials to prepare for after all, he told himself it would be good to make more connections. To learn the face and names of the area, and there was no better place for such an activity as the Pub. He made sure to don fresh clothes before he went out, favoring the browns, grays and tans that Jedi often wore. Two lightsabers were clipped on to either side of his waist, one a rather simple construct, plain in design. The other was slightly more elaborate, with a curved hilt that had a wooden grip.

Even a Padawan like Kal'n could feel the Force emanating strongly from the Pub as he approached, which seemed to be the norm based on the couple of other times he had been here. He walked in through the door and stopped to get his bearings, dark blue eyes scanning the room before settling on [member="George O Rourke"], another Jedi by his appearance.

Kal'n moved through the people to take a seat near George, the tender placing the same tea down that Kal'n always seemed to order.

"You're getting predictable Padawan Kal'n." The tender said with a smile as he picked up the credits that Kal'n set on the table in payment.

"I am?" He asked in return, taking a sip of the steaming tea.

"Yea. Same time every week or so." The man chuckled and walked away to go about his business.

"Hmm." Kal'n frowned as the tender walked away, not sure if that predictability was a bad thing or not. It lasted for a moment before looking over to George and offering the larger man a smile. "Greetings brother, how are you?"

As George sat in through with his milk in front another person entered the pub. It was some what busy, George was a little surprised, but not unhappy about it. George typically kept to himself but welcomed company. As George noticed he now had company the man in robes began talking to the bartender before turning his attention to George. "Greetings, I am good thanks, resting up before training. How about yourself?" George replied as he took a sip of the milk in front of him. George noticed the man was outfitted very similar to himself. Two lightsabers also, very nice. He though to himself.

Kal’n gave George a smile and took a test sip of his tea, it was hot, very hot by the evidence of the steam rising off of it. He smacked his lips together and set it back down before reaching for some honey to sweeten it a bit. “I am well, simply doing some resting after my training. I’m afraid I don’t socialize nearly as much as I should.” He turned to give George his full attention.

“I am Padawan Kal’n Drasco.” He extended a hand in greeting. “How long have you been training here?” Kal’n was trying to be as friendly as possible, without it seeming fake or over the top. He had gone with his old master on several diplomatic missions and listened how he spoke to others. He tried to mimic that
now, being friendly with a hint of professionalism.

George picked up the glass of milk in front of him, raising the glass to his mouth. The refreshing liquid touching his lips before swirling around his mouth and finally down his throat. It calmed an relaxed George as the young man in front of him attempted to hide his discomfort from the hot tea. After introducing himself he turned and faced George. "It's alright, you seen me over here by myself, I don't nearly socialise as much as I should either." George replied before introducing himself. "I am Padawan George O Rourke, I've only been here a few weeks. Not very long" Everything was pretty new to George, but he knew he would learn a lot from being around here. Not only from his Master, but from people like Padawan Kal'n.

"Nice to meet you George." Kal'n said with a smile while blowing on his tea to cool it down some.

He took another test sip, still too hot, back to blowing. "A few weeks, huh? Did you train anywhere else before you got here?" He took another sip, he frowned and grabbed some more honey, graciously pouring it in. Sometimes he liked to have tea when he drank his honey.

"I hear you. I get so wrapped up in my training that I sometimes forget to do the important thing and live life." He gave a slight chuckle. "What have you been doing to keep yourself busy the past couple weeks then." Kal'n was clearly being polite, but that didn't mean he was any less interested in what George had to say. Kal'n saw the nautolan before him as an equal and perhaps someone he would rise through the Jedi ranks with.

George watched as once again Kal'n had trouble with the temperature of his tea. George has a small grin as he watched it unfold. "No not really. I had tried out these lightsabers occasionally but no actual training." George replied as he though back about his parents. His face turned from a little laughing grin to nothing as he looked away from the man in front of him. Every thought of his parents made him a little upset, but he tried not to show it too much. He would disconnected from those around to keep it safe.

"Yeah I know how you feel, getting everything organised the last few weeks has been taking up most of my time. Between meeting my new master and getting training sorted it hasn't left me much time" George replied has thought about the training that was to come. "Also would like some tea with that honey?" George laughed.

While Kal'n was certainly no master, he did show slightly more strength in talents attributed with the sensing aspect of the Force when compared against the other two. Georgoe's lack of training combined with the feelings that came when thinking about his parents made it some-what easy for someone like Kal'n to pick up on those feelings. Unlike a Master however, Kal'n could not tell what was upsetting the fellow Padawan. Only that something was.

"Well ... this is certainly the place to get that good training. If you stick to the Jedi Code than you will be fine. There is no emotion; there is peace." Kal'n gave a faint smile. "That one get's me through a lot of dilemmas."

He looked down to his tea flavored honey...and promptly added more. "No no... tea would ruin the taste, it's an art form really." He took another sip. "Perfect, not as hot and extremely sweet."

"Those sabers, your Master gave them to you then?"

[member="Kal'n Drasco"]

George forgetting that Kal'n was also a Jedi Padawan and could sense the George's shift in emotional state. Sensing this change he said a few words of guidance, quoting the Jedi Code. Hearing this one line made the whole Jedi Code run through his head. George looked over at Kal'n "Thank you." With a ever growing smile. "I will continue and let the Jedi Code guide my decisions."

Watching Kal'n and his tea was quite interesting. Laughing as he Kal'n spoke about the tea George picked up his own glass full of milk "Maybe I should try adding some honey to my milk." George said as he held the glass in front of his face. Hmm maybe not. George though to himself as he though about how killer sweet the milk would taste after adding the honey. Taking a sip and returning the glass to the table.

George looked at the sabres laying at his waist before speaking "Actually these were my fathers, he was a great Jedi Master. We use to live on Glee Anselm and he use to keep them on display in a cabinet." Lifting one of the hilts from his belt and holding it in front of him. "These were the blades he used for majority of his Jedi life. After his and my mothers passing I kept them as a bit of his great legacy. Wielding them into battle I think is my way to honour his memory." As George returned the hilt to his belt. "How about your blades, how did you acquire them?"

Kal'n only smiled and continued to sip his very sweet tea as George gave him a brief synopsis of his past. It was, of course, a look into something much deeper and not for the last time Kal'n wished that his connection with the Force was stronger. Kal'n always kept the code to the forefront of his mind, he tried to live by it, breath it and be it's embodiment. A tall order for one so young and a goal that he felt he often failed and achieved depending on the task. To Kal'n, this seemed like one of those moments.

"I do not know your father. But, if he was anything like the Jedi I have met here than you do him even more honor every time you succeed at not having to use it." Was that the right thing to say? Kal' had no idea. It sounded wise to him and it was sort of what his old master use to say to him. Lightsabers were a last resort. Diplomacy first.

"Well..." In response to George's question Kal'n pulled the first saber from his belt. It was rather simple in its design, with two pieces of added flare, which were fins towards the emitter and a red jewel at the base of the hilt. "My old master had be build this when I was seventeen. I have debated deconstructing it and trying to modify it so that I can use it under water. But... I don't think I am that skilled at lightsaber construction, yet."

Slipping that saber away he pulled out a second. This one had a distinct curve to it and its outer layer was clearly wooden. "I built this while on Kyshyyk several months back. It's design is specific to Form II, Makashi, in that allows for more precise control though tends to lack the force that other lightsaber forms have." He wasn't sure how deep George's studies had gone and didn't want to insult the man by over explaining things to him, he was sure that if he had questions than he would ask them.

George thought about the training to come and the few trainings that had pasted, so far he had learnt the basics of both Form I Shii-Cho and Form II Makashi. Although George felt he had made leaps and bounds in his learnt techniques he still wasn't sure how far he had come. Kal'n was an interesting character, he loved his tea sweet and his knowledge more. He embodied the Jedi Code as apart of him. Something George felt he could work on. He knew the Jedi Code and understood what it meant to be a Jedi. But putting it into practice was something George would have to work if he wanted to be anything like his father before him.

Listening to Kal'ns interesting opinion George replied. "Of course diplomacy is the first choice, taking a life or even fighting over one is something non of us want to be doing. But there will always be some that are unreasonable and ignorant. Believing what they want to believe and forcing our hand." George respected Kal'ns opinion and took from it. "You are right, I do believe that my father would be proud living up to the Jedi name, not only as a master fighter, but peacekeeper and protector."

As Kal'n pulled the first hilt from his belt George looked in closer. "It is a nice saber Kal'n." He said as he continued to look over the weapon whilst he explained his intentions. "That would be a great addition to it. If we get some spare time we could learn how to disassemble and modify them. Although my fathers are good, they are very simple and also don't have the ability to work underwater." George wondered if the fellow Padawan was interested.

As Kal'n pulled out his second lightsaber he instantly noticed curved hilt it was a nice weapon, he could tell that Kal'n was proud of it. "Very nice, I did notice the curve in the hilt. I have some knowledge of Form II but not a whole lot at the moment." George said whilst taking a good look at the smooth wooden hilt before him. George though to himself about creating his own lightsabers. He had his fathers, but it was more out of availability. George decided that he would soon create his own unique lightsabers and keep his fathers as a reminder of his fathers legacy.

[member="George O Rourke"]

"It would certainly be a challenge. That is for sure." Kal'n rubbed his hand against his chin. "But, I wouldn't mind doing some research and seeing about making it so they work underwater." He leaned forward and took another sip of his honey flavored tea. Perfection.

"Do you plan on making changes to your fathers lightsabers, or do you have the materials to construct your own?" Kal'n asked. If he were to modify his own weapons he would probably make the changes to his basic light saber. He would have preferred to make a new one, but he simply lacked the needed materials for such an undertaking.

As George watched Kal'ns body language he could see the throughts rolling around in his head... Well not his actual thoughts but the motion of though all together. "That sounds good then. Anything to do with a lightsaber is never easy, but it is what we have to do to get a better understanding of the tools we use" George replied thinking about the endless amounts of information to be gained about lightsabers.

"Now that I think about it, probably not. I would like to keep them how they are, the way he kept them." George replied before the though about materials entered his head. "I never even though about the materials needed... I will end up making myself new sabers. When... I am not too sure. I still have lots of training to go but I'll get there." George replied as he too picked up his glass of milk and finished the remaining liquid in the glass.
