Placate and Appropriate | Black Sun Dominion of Jilrua

Even without the aid of stealth field generators, the Mandalorians barely made a footfall as they advanced deeper into enemy territory. With two groups of fifteen strong, stealth became harder to maintain, but each and every one of them, man woman and Bachus, were ready to fight and die here to end the threat of the dar’manda. Jillath Ko’s breaths were numbered, and the Verd’alor was determined to keep the remaining number as low as possible. But not by going in unprepared, not by risking the lives of himself of his clansmen unnecessarily. Whilst no battle plan was perfect, the planning of this assault was meticulous. Contacts in the black sun had provided as detailed schematics as possible, and Vox had mapped this compound clearly in his mind. Whilst their information could not predict patrol patterns, there were only so many rotations you could go through. With practised precision, he lead his unit through the wide corridors of the compound down towards the throne room where the scum was supposedly holed up.

Their quiet, patient approach had paid off, not running into any real opposition on their way deep into the heart of the compound. The handful of guards they had come across were silenced before they could even think about raising the alarm. There would be other troops scattered through the building, but Vox was confident that Wren, Bachus and the rest of the first team would be more than capable of dealing with them. Slowing down on the final approach, the Verd’alor gathered his troops around him. Turning to his own second on this assignment, Graw ek’thun, Vox mentally noted that the massive Karkarodon was similarly unsuited to a stealth operation as Bachus. The Zabrak knew that these two had another similarity however; they were almost irreplaceable on the battlefield. Clan Sharratt was littered with well drilled killing machines, and the strike force about to assault this so called throne room was comprised of some of the very finest.

Making a brief gesture to Graw to be ready, before seeing the same command carried to the rest of the squad. At the same moment, a whisper came across his encrypted comm, indicating first team were similarly ready to rock. “Roger, in position. Ready when ordered.” Vox on one side of the entrance, Graw on the other – with the rest of their band of merry killers ready to swarm. As soon as the green light came up, Jillath Ko’s final moments wouldn’t be far behind.

Objective 3
Kill Jill (Clan Sharratt Only)
Clan Sharratt has been tasked to take out Jillath Ko aka “The Spur”. It is rumored “The Spur” is a Jilruan Mandalorian Warlord that is responsible for slaughtering those opposed him and raiding nearby villages, often capturing young children for his own twisted, dark purposes. In truth, Clan Sharratt requested this task and notified the Wardens of Black Sun that they would see to this mission personally…

mW6qhRR.png

With a nod from Prince Wren, Bachus’s large leg kicked forward on the thin blast door separating their team of Mandalorians and the barracks of the Jilruan soldiers. The metal barrier was sent flying inward, catching a poor soldier full on, sending him and the door skittering across the door. The cragmaloid stepped in and too the side with the barrels on his gatling laser cannon already spinning. Red, hot blaster bolts began spewing out into the barracks. Prince Wren stepped inside and snapped off a couple of lethal shots from his pistol, but the Jilruans had recovered enough to have the piece of mind to seek cover and return fire…

Sometimes in combat, it didn’t matter how well you prepared, things just plain went wrong. A pair of blaster bolts found their mark on Prince Wren’s chest, sending the Clan Sharratt Alor to the ground in a heap. Bachus looked down momentarily in concern, but he knew he had to keep his suppressing fire active while the rest of the Mandalorians filed into the barracks to establish their positions.

While it would have been much easier to toss a barrel full of detonite in the barracks and end all life in the structure, their were supplies that Clan Sharratt sought in the barracks, so they had to take the barracks the hard way—which meant it would be more dangerous.

Bachus continued to lay down suppressing fire across the interior of the barracks and then finally ducked down to reload once the dozen other Mandalorians had taken position. From the deadly crossfire the Mandalorians had established early, half of their opposition was already laying down with scorch marks littering their armor and were on the ground unmoving. Reaching across from his cover, the large cragmaloid dragged the unmoving Alor to his side and out of further danger.

Regardless, the Mandalorians were now “loud” and there was no more sneaking around to be had…

Objective 4
Secure Former Slaver Vessel
mW6qhRR.png
"Roger that sir, we just got permission from the Hutt Cartel to proceed through the Space Port, we are all in position. Men, we may proceed with capture."

The comnlink was cut out as members of the Gakis Pirates would surround the nearby doors of Docking Bay Eighty-Two, a light transport area as they set up small explosives and awaited for the others. Five squadrons of marines were ready to converge and open fire on any hostiles in the area as they were ordered to take the transport by an means necessary. Captain Gaki himself would be soon arriving as an auxiliary force but until then, they were on their own. Giving a few clicks on their communications, they would then detonate the explosives and rush in, yelling out as the people outside were surprised, pulling out blasters as a very large firefight ensured, blaster bolts fired in every direction with an entire enemy squadron pinned down near a set of crates to which a plasma grenade was thrown to and just with a flash of red, were incinerated into paste. With one of their own falling, they moved forward, firing onto the last enemy squadron as they fell in a shower of blaster bolts. Moving forward towards the enemy transport ship, they would count the floors from the outside and board the ship, moving upwards into the light transport.

As they entered from the docking ramp, they were greeted to the cargo bay as they carefully fanned out and searched the area for any hostiles. As they walked through, they realized most of the area was filled with empty containers, save for any form of food stuffs they kept running across. This was most likely the slaves holding area, having them actually kept in small crates till they got to their destination. Motioning towards the nearby ramp, all five squadrons would lift their blaster rifles and move forward, sweeping through the next floor. As they entered into the next floor, they were waiting for them as a repeating blaster was set up, firing down the hallway as the group of marines took turns firing, screaming to get a launcher ready as they stumbled to get an anti-personal missile loaded up. As they trade fire, two of the repeater team was killed off as they kept spraying down with blaster fire as they radioed they needed another way past. There was a crackle in the radio.

Outside, Gamma Two would get close to Docking Port Eighty-Two as Captain Gaki hanged outside of the ATR-6 Gamma Assault Shuttle and leaped downward onto the ship, sliding downward as he started to ran up the landing ramp towards his mens location. All the while, blaster fire was still being exchanged as the missile was finally loaded, firing towards the two enemy squadrons as the missile exploded with fragmentation, shredding the entire repeater crew as the allied pirates got up and started walking forward, killing off several more enemy crew members as there was futile efforts to fight back but was quickly squashed the moment Gaki entered the room with a whistle. Throwing all ten Zenji Needles, they all impaled into one individual and fell over as Squadron Five finished off the last enemy crewman, firing on rapid mode over the crate and filling the man with many holes. Captain Gaki would bark orders to get the rooms searched on this floor as he retracted his Zenji Needles, taking time to get back into his hands. As each squadron opened up a room save for Squadron Five, they encountered an Armory, a Command Center and two bunk rooms which were apparently occupied by some very angry crewman as they open fire, bodies dropping on both sides as Gaki would bark more orders to shoot better, going closer as he prepared his Zenji Needles as groups started to move around to better positions, many more enemy squadrons falling to blaster fire as it was becoming increasinly aware that this may not end to well as one of their squadrons were killed in hail of repeater fire. They were expecting them inside or at least, they already been prepared for this kind of attack for a while now. Hearing the whine of more of their own men being killed, Gaki waited and bided his time, seeing who needed his help the most. As the right side was being killed off rather well, Gaki would move forward to assist the lone Squadron Two as he threw the Zenji Needles as they impaled nicely into the enemy crewmen into the wall though one would make a CRACK as it broke in two when being retracted with the Force, giving a bit of a grunt as he tossed it to the side.

"Squadron Two, move upwards and secure Floor Three."

As Squadron Two moved forward, there was a hail of blaster fire as there was yet another repeater nest upstairs as this was getting ridiclous as they were pinned down and had to wait for reinforcements. Gaki would look to the side at the Armory as he noticed something glowing, walking over towards it as he picked up something glowing as he turned it side to side before quickly pocketing it, hearing that his men were pinned down as he rushed up with the rest of the squadron, yelling an order as they set up in rank and file, firing on his mark. Two more fell as repeater fire opened up once again, all of them ducking as Captain Gaki held up his Zenji Needles as they floated upwards and with a sharp whistle, though flew forward and impaled against the two remaining repeater crew members, putting them against the wall and slicing upwards, effectively kililng them before returning right back to Gakis pouch as he looked around the hallway as he made points to each squadron to take a room as the second room burst open to show a rather angry wookiee with a viroaxe, gargling as he swung out towards Gaki, catching him off guard as he litereally flew across the room into the nearby bulk head with a sickening CRUNCH as it howled out. While other enemy squadrons were present, each one of the squadrons turned and opened fire on this wookiee, hoping to take him down quickly. It only enraged it as it yelled out in its tongue, smashing through another armored male and throwing him into one of the rooms as he was shot up with blaster fire. Captain Gaki would slowly start standing up, cracking his neck as he got a very big monster to slay now as he took out his Zenji Needles in each hand as he charged forward, ready to take this wookiee out.

Myra followed the group to the arena. It impressed her that such a primitive people had become so powerful within the hutt cartel, even as slaves this warriors were near indispensable for their skill and vigor. She would take her seat in the arena's stands, eagerly awaiting the "show" to start. Not that she was particularly interested in blood sports, the arenas on Tygeria were far more for sport than for a fight to the death and even as dramatized and tailored to the viewers experience as they were she still found them quite boring. Something about two individuals beating the living kark out of eachother really just didn't appeal to her.

Out came her champion, and her opponents. Children? An interesting choice, there were three of them she supposed. Here she was expecting some large overly muscular man who stood three meters tall and was roided to the extreme.

Tesari seemed to initially take care of them rather easily. The smoothness of her movements, the acrobatics, it was all a rather good show. She would have to see the outcome of the battle to be sure the Gallows were worth it however.

[member="Tesari Nuema"] [member="Gad Calgaran"]

Gad observed the fight go down. So far Tesari seemed to have things under control. Gad admired it, although he couldn't help but feel like she was messing around. This seemed a little too easy to her, which was fair, they were criminals, not professionals such as her. Gad would have probably just gone straight to pummeling one them and ended up taking a few hits in the process. He would still win, just probably with a bloody nose. That said, she knew how to play dirty when she needed to, using dirt to blind someone.

Realizing they were in a losing fight, one of Tesari's opponents secretly pulled out a blade from his back pocket, hiding it from her under his arm. No one seemed to react to this, despite plenty of people, including the leader who arranged the trial, obviously being able to see it from their angle. It was more than a common shiv too, possibly even a vibroblade. Hmph... That's one way to test might. Gad thought to himself. He didn't say anything though, wanting to see if Tesari would notice and be able to counter it herself.

The vibroblade-wielding criminal whispered something into the other prisoner's ear. Then they both kept their distance as one circled around her, make sure to keep their distance until both were in position. With one behind and one ahead of her, they both charged. The unarmed one went for a tackle, attempting to grapple Tesari down, while the other went in to go for the kill. Swinging his blade down onto her, with little regard for his ally.

[member="Myra"] | [member="Tesari Nuema"]

Watching her foes as they seemed to converse and began to move more organised, she felt a little proud in her younger kin for at least adapting when they knew they lacked the independent skill sets. But they would have to take her as a fool to think she did not perceive the fact they had more to play than just a change in strategies. Their body language show cased it, one kept his hands free and ready well the other attempted to keep his hands out of site, they had not only changed their strats they had also pupped up the stakes. Glancing over her shoulder for a second, she figured out quickly what they had planned, she had been trained the same as them, raised in the fighting pits. Only difference was simple she was twice their age and had far more knowledge and experience than either and she knew when someone was playing dirty. She might not have seen the blade but she knew the one ahead of her was armed and that was all she needed to know. As they made their charge, she spun on her heel keeping the armed one to her back and facing the one intent on taking her to the floor, his stance low aiming for her legs to take her off balance. She made full use of his stance and in turned did what neither expected, she charged at the same moment.

The Vibroblade extended and passed inches past were she had been standing but by than she had all ready moved and ran straight at the other, jumping into him with her knee ready to connected with his face. She could hear the crunch of bone as her knee connected right were his nose should have been, the impact stunning him and most likely making everything go black. But the momentum he had built up did not stop, with her knee and motion aimed above him she spun head over heel over the man rolling on the ground before coming back up ready for his friend. Well smashing into her had slowed the charging kid, it had not stopped him and he had tumbled into the armed kin who had attempted to give chase when he had missed the first time. Knocking him off his feet and onto the ground, well slower to get up than her, it was only seconds difference as he stood pushing his knocked out friend onto the ground and gazing at her with a fire in his eyes. He was intent on being free and she could appreciate his level of commitment as they inched closer, his blade extended between them aimed at her chest. Moving in a circle like to predators gazing down a rival and figuring how best to handle them. The blade in hand was a annoyance, but her concern was more or less somewhere else.

Finally with a deep breath and seconds passing by seeming like minutes they finally moved, closing the small distance, he came down with a Vertical slash. But she simply spun to the right with the blade missing her by simple inchs, honestly too close for what she liked but finally stopping beside his extended arm with weapon in hand. He attempted to follow up with a horizontal slash toward her but with his arms fully extended and her having all ready thought several moves ahead, she placed one hand above his arm and brought her other full force up well pushing down with the other on either side of his elbow. The popping sound it made when the motion fully carried out and a screech of pain from the young Jilruan, his grip on his weapon loosened with little to no control left in his arm. But his scream turned into a grimace, the fierce fire in his eye persisting as his other arm extended grabbing the blade and as she attempted to swing him over her he attempted to regain control of the blade. Tossing him a few feet from were she stood onto the ground, she was honestly surprised to see he had retained the blade, at least some of his training was showing through. She might have been having a easy time with them but these kids for the last 10 years at least had been fighting and killing. Which by no means made them inexperience, it was a simple fact that they might had a fighting chance with a unfamiliar opponent. A fact that made her smile as she gazed upon her kin with one arm broken limp beside his body, standing at the ready with his blade prepared.

Smirking she took the initiative and charged him, as he attempted to stab at her, this time she ducked under the blade coming up to be face to face with the child. Wrapping her arm around his elbow to ensure he could not stab through her and hit himself she simply headbutted the surprised child. When the first time did not work she continued two more times before she felt the figures body slacken as darkness took a hold of him. Dropping his blade somewhere between the second or third headbutt she had only heard it hit the dirt and than seconds later his body go limp. Releasing him from her grasp she set him on the dirt ground, picking up the blade she saw it as familiar, similar to the one she sported during her younger days. One she had used to kill dozens of pitt fighters when she had been his age, looking up towards the Black Sun Reps and the village members she tossed the blade to the side as the group began to talk in whisper and a few in surprise. Though the older ones seemed less surprised, she had made a name for herself even before she left this world a over decade before and when she had returned only years ago. They knew what she was capable of and she simply saw it as more a show for her new masters than a proving of strength to those she considered kin.

"Elder I have a request, I wish to buy these children, let them serve a purpose among my outfit."

The Elder seemed to hesitate as he looked from the Black Sun Reps to the group and back towards her.

"Your fine with this even though they broke the rules?"

Tesari simply smirked and looked over her shoulder as other slaves entered the pits to retrieve the children at the same time her kin entered from the opposing side.

"What rule is their other thing winning Elder? Plus I like the look in their eyes..."

Letting the words hang in the air the as the Elder considered it, raising a hand to the slave as they began grabbing the large Jilruan children.

"Than I leave them to you, we can discuss the contract after the final test."

Saying it to her as he turned to face her new masters and she simply bowed and nodded to the young as the two Jilruan Gallows went to help pick them up. She turned to gaze at her new masters interested to see how they responded to the next test.

Objective 4

Captain Gaki would leap up high as he could, embedding his twin Zenji Needles into the back of the Wookiee, impaling into him as he held on for dear life as it roared in anger, trying to grip and throw off this annoyance on his back. Meanwhile all of Gakis Pirates were in a firefight with other enemy squadrons, holed up in one of the nearby rooms a grenade rolled out into it with a sudden explosion and the sound of wrenching metal screeching into the ears of many. The Wookiee tried to flip Gaki around, getting up up in front as he let up and stabbed one of the Zenji Needles deep into the eye of the Wookiee it howled in pain, falling over as he shoved the rest of it through into the brain as it struggled before going limp. Pulling out the Zenji Needle and sliding off the eye, the combat would intensify as another of the enemy fell to blaster fire as another grenade was rolled out yet it was shot in mid-air, the sound of a sonic grenade ripping through the air as all of his own men held their ears, trying to get focus as blaster fire rang off in every direction out of the room.

Gaki would pull out all nine of his Zenji Needles since the tenth was now broken in half, moving to the side as he whistled loudly and then tossed them as they almost homed in on their targets, embedding into the head or other areas while impaling them onto the wall. Giving another whistle, they would pull out and go straight back into Gakis hands as he motioned the four squadrons to go on ahead as he had to clean off the excess amounts of blood as they moved forward onto the final floor, near the bridge area. Each set of two squadrons went to one of the six rooms, opening as they found an empty room or in the other one, a room stacked high with old credit chits which while most did not work, still held some value at the end of the day. Captain Gaki would slowly strode upwards, opening a nearby room as he quickly laid back against the side of the door, having to yell for reinforcements as his marines would go in front of the door and open fire, clearing out the room with a hail of blaster fire. After that, Gaki would take his time much more slowly towards the next room, holding up a small hand mirror as it would show an armory, going in rather quickly yet finding out that everything was taken for it was now just a room. With a loud groan, he watched his other Marines search the bridge as it was opened up towards a hail of blasterfire.

As enemy foot soldiers were killed in mass, the enemy captain would strode forward with long steps, holding up a repeater in his own arms as he was a bulky Besalisk as he fired upon one of the nearby squadrons, taking cover as the metal near the door started to melt as a Zenji Needle flew by and stuck down one of the nearby enemy foot soldiers as they slowly fell back on the bridge as another of their own fell to repeater fire. Captain Gaki would throw all his Zenji Needles again as they found their marks, embedding themselves into the soldiers as they would quickly be pulled out and zoom back to their Captain, wiping them off as another squadron of their own men fell to repeater fire, this cannot keep going much longer. Thankfully as the last man fell, the Besalisks own repeater cannon would overheat as he shook it and with a loud growl, throw it down to pull out two viroaxes and charge forward into the hail of blaster fire, shrugging it off as if he was death incarnate itself. Gaki would charge forward with a war cry but once again like last time, would get hit on the side with the blunt side of the axes and get launched into the nearby bulk head, actually denting it in as he slid down and coughed blood, almost near deaths door already as he looked up weakly at his own men having to fight this behemoth on their own. As his own men opened fire, they had to back up as each swing with the viroaxe actually tore part of another door down into pieces, each one ducking and weaving underneath as they learned his movements yet the Besalisk screamed out in pure anger as it felt pierced several times in the back as Zenji Needles were stuck in his back, paralyzing him temporary to the point where all three of his remaining groups of pirates opened fire at once, tearing through the males armor and thick skin, riddling him with holes from their blasters till he finally collapsed in a heap before them, killed off at long last and the end to his horror of nightmares.

As those that were slain before them, Gaki would slowly strode beside his men, holding his side as he looked rather weak, having been now beaten up twice now as he coughed a bit loudly and motioned his men towards the last room as he leaned onto the wall. As the door was opened, which was a bit more forceabily, the screams of women were heard as Captain Gaki could only glance into the next room as they were full of them, shaking as some were visibly bumped as he looked downwards at the former Besalisk Captain, spitting on his body as he nodded to his men, not wishing to think what had all happened. Taking his notion, they would carefully help them out of the room and away from this terror ship as he noticed a Rodian among them, the two locking eyes till she came over, much more visibly stronger than the others as she gently gripped onto Gakis side and helped him off from the edge of the wall, carefully moving slowly outside the ship as the ATR-6 was waiting for pick up, being called in to have other transports waiting as the day hopefully and finally, soon came to an end.

Patience was something that had to be cultivated for Malagith. His role in this operation was to ensure reinforcements did not make it to the palace to support their warlord. He would not be needed until the attack went “loud”, which meant the call would be made by the warlord for reinforcements…

Standing next to his KWT SF-91 “Galaar” Starfighter, the Mandalorian sipped on a mug of caf leaning against his ship as he read over his notes on the recent events of Clan Sharratt. Malagith had been gone from Hutt Space for weeks as he was helping refugees from Mandalore and Concord Dawn settle into Hollastin as their new home. Most of the Mandalorians could not stomach remaining on a Sith-occupied Mandalore system...

The ion engines were thrumming idly, ready to be spun up in a moment’s notice. In order to prevent detection, the starfighter was nestled on a ridge some 10 kilometers away from the palace. Suddenly, Malagith’s earpiece came to life with Verd'alor Vox Stath’s voice over the encrypted communications channel, “We are hot.”

Dumping the rest of his caf, Malagith quickly slid over the side of the ship and into the cockpit. Instantly, the canopy began slowly closing down to seal the pilot in. His hands danced over the controls and the starfighter rapidly ascended into the air. Once he cleared the rise that he was hiding behind, Malagith kicked in the thrust and streaked towards the nearby base that would be scrambling their APCs at this point…

Myra watched her combatant in silent awe. The grace, dexterity, and strength of the commando certainly assured her of the strength of The Gallows. Looking over to Gad "If all of The Gallows are like this I don't think we'll have any problem keeping our territory safe." she'd muse, before going back to watching the show.

The blade was a dirty trick, but she seemed to handle it with relative ease. Perhaps Gold Lotus could hire these Gallows to protect some of their facilities? It was a thought, one she would have to save for later. Myra could not help but wonder what the second trial would be, let alone how anyone would solve it. She certainly could not make the poor girl do both trials, and Myra did actually need to do something while she was here.
As the battle reached its end and the mercenary would offer to buy the young ones, Myra could not help but grin. She would proceed to head from her seat to the entrance to the Arena to meet with Tesari. "To say I was impressed by your performance would be an understatement." she would glance past her to the slaves she had just bought "What.. exactly do you plan to do with them?"

In Gamma Two AKA ATR-6 Gamma Assault Shuttle
Destination: Marauder-Corvette "Reborn"

The soft whine of the engines of the ATR-6 Gamma Assault Shuttle would fill the passenger area, marines along with displaced women would remain seated as the shuttle would give a gentle shake as it passed out of the atmosphere and into the outer reaches of space. As the ship gently rumbled, there is a small spat of coughing at Captain Gaki would be laying on a nearby bench, somewhat vacated by most of his men whom opted to stand. Only one sitting beside him was the lone Rodian female from before, gently brushing against his forehead with a bit of a soaked rag of rationed water. When he got hit the last time, he did not expect it to hurt as much as it did but he felt things had broken and worse, he did not feel like he could function as much, almost immobile before his own men. The entire crew was silent as a few of the men looked over the other females in silence, wondering what would be their fate once they board their flagship. Almost as if one was about to ask, Captain Gaki raised his left hand up just a little as he spoke.

"The women are not to be harmed...they are...free to us."
"Sir, they are valuabl-"
"Damn their value! It is my Krakin order! Is that understood?!"

The Marines would slowly look side to side at each other, even the pilots would glance back at their Captain whom laid on the bench in rather obvious pain. They were possibly considering him insane or worse at this moment though as they looked to raise their voices, the Rodian woman would lift her face with a glare, almost piercing as she looked at each marine in turn. The look was of hate, care and above all else, malice. Rather quickly, the marines as well as the pilots would look away back towards the star view in front of them. With her gaze slowly softening, she would glance down back at Gaki, gently going a bit closer and laying his head onto her lap. Gaki would mutter something as it was very low, sounding as if in Huttese as the Rodian leaned downwards and spoke back in her own mutter, also in Huttese. There was a silence as a clasp from the shuttle would be heard as the doors would open, letting them pour out of the ATR-6 Gamma Assault Shuttle as the females were let out first for medical treatment as Captain Gaki would slowly stand up, being helped up more of, from the Rodian lady as she carefully walked him to wherever he needed and glared at those who would dare make an approach to help him though one of his lower officers would come by rather close, speaking a bit quickly.

"Sir, you are needed on the bridge, there is a develo-"
"Do I look like to be in the condit-"
"Sir, regardless of condition, you need to see this."

There was a long groan as he nodded, carefully standing straight up though almost fell over till the Rodian caught him, leading him slowly over towards the lift. They would cram in as he kept himself leaned on the Rodian, groaning a bit as he jabbed at the nearby officer to grab his comnlink, speaking a bit quickly into it as he let it go, dropping it onto the floor as he coughed a bit harshly. The lift would ding as they would exit onto the bridge as people were working hard on their respective tasks, Captain Gaki was carefully laid onto his command chair as he looked out towards the screen in front of them along with a datapad being handed over. Glancing over the data, it would confirm some of his worst fears as he listened to his intelligence officer.

"Sir, when we went through the transport, we found multiple signatures indicating trade ships in the area...we are numbering to over half a dozen still in the area. We believe eight of them are still here."
"Then we need to disable and capture them...what else?"
"There...is a station."
"Which one? There is dozens, hell maybe even over a hundr-"
"Near the blue star, called Helios Delight. Small trade station, apparently it been used as the Mandalorians cover for their illegal slave trade. Hence how they kept getting in supplies."
"Any notable defenses?"
"A frigate is over watching the entire station. Aside from that, a few turbolaser batteries are around the small station."
"We...can probably handle that. Anything else?"
"Yes...they issued the order for a full retreat. Starports in the area are getting issued several alarming messages of immediate departure. Of the eight, five are still on the ground."
"Then we need our strike crews on the ground now, we cann-"
"You can't do it alone Captain."

There was a long silence as slowly, he glanced over his left shoulder to still see the Rodian still standing their, speaking perfect Basic. Gaki would open his mouth for a brief period, as if to argue though he was now on the receiving end of that glance as he slowly turned his head to just...not see it as he sighed, looking forward. Several members of his crew, as well as some of the Marines that accompanied him would stare back at him, as if expecting an answer. The Rodian was right, he could not handle everyone at once, it would be impossible...he would have to call it in, he would have to call in for reinforcements...assuming the others were not busy or nearly getting killed. Slowly, he would nod to his communications officer as he started to make a system wide call as he spoke out, his voice almost booming in his own ship.

"This is the Gaki Pirates, Captain Gaki speaking. We have received some rather disturbing new developments. Our Mandalorian friend apparently had an entire slave network set up around the planet, not just for his needs but for others...along with a systematic breeding program designed to produce more specimens for himself. It is along with this, that apparently we spooked his entire network and they are pulling out and we do not have much time on our hands. Normally I can handle any challenge thrown my way, but I cannot be everywhere. To anyone that is willing, that can be capable and wants to make an effort to end this...I am sending coordinates to the various starports, junctions in space they are going to and their base of operations on the trading station "Helios Delight". I do not expect anyone to help, but we do not have...not much time. Children of the planet are on these ships, as well as the station and much worse. We need the people of Jilrua to see what happens...when their enemies, see our vengeance. Captain Gaki out."

mW6qhRR.png

The message would then end as Captain Gaki looked a bit weak against his own arm rest, grunting a bit as a person came by with a set of stims as he started to inject them into Gakis torso whom make him cry out in pain, almost whither in pain as it would start bonding the bones back together as well as give him a temporary boost in strength though for only a few short hours. It was a combat drug, designed to keep someone in the fight for a while longer but when it fades, it was a complete shutdown of the body, almost making them comatose for over two days. With the timer set, he felt the needles get pulled out as he started to breath a bit faster, looking over at his crew as he had to make a decision as what he decides lays the fate of many people to come. He would then speak out his order, pointing forward to the nearest point in subspace.

"Jump to Beacon Eighteen. We are going to stop that transport! Station can wait, each transport that gets away is a set of war criminals that will kill another day!"

With that, the Reborn would slowly turn as the hyperdrive engines would warm up and then jump into hyperspace, making a small microjump towards their destination.

In truth, Clan Sharratt requested this task and notified the Wardens of Black Sun that they would see to this mission personally…

mW6qhRR.png

The barracks finally fell silent. Bachus nodded to the pair of clanmates across the doorway and they quickly filed in. No shots rang out. However, he did hear the close rang blasts from Clan Sharratt finishing the job on wounded enemies. Lookng down, Bachus could see that his Alor was in a bad way. Putting down his gatling cannon and heavy blade, the cragmaloid produced a medpack and began seeing to the downed human. He was no medic, but at first glance, Wren would live—but he was going to be down for the count…and if he didn’t get to a bacta tank soon, he probably would die. Over the encrypted Clan Sharratt circuit, Bachus relayed the status, “Barracks clear. Alor Wren is down. Verd’alor Vox Stath, you are acting Alor now. Prince is not getting up any time soon. I am going to evacuate him and get him help. Bachus out…”

Quickly, Bachus relayed a rendezvous point with one of the dropships in orbit. He knew it would be streaking to get to his position quickly and then aboard one of the Malephus-class Star Destroyers in orbit above, where the facilities could help the dying leader.

In no time, the dropship was already hovering for a pick-up. Bachus slung the Alor over his shoulder and bounded to the ship. Speed was more important than being delicate at this point for the fallen Alor. Once he was successfully loaded up, he screamed to the pilot over the roar of the sublight drives, “Have a medical team ready to get him to a surgeon! He dies, I break your back! Have a good flight!”

With that he slapped the side of the dropship signaling for them to lift off. The dropship roared up into the clouds with great urgency…

Objective IV
Stop Slave Transports from Leaving the System

Marauder-Corvette "Reborn"
mW6qhRR.png
The hyperdrive would soon disengage over the hyperspace beacon as the hyperspace interceptor started to go haywire in a hurry. Apparently they jumped way to close to the buoy itself as suddenly, an older light freighter would burst in front of the viewpoint. Almost colliding, the Reborn would order a full halt as it scraped gently with their shields against the Darvro-class Light Freighter as the ship would whine rather loudly for the collision. When it finally ended, the tractor beams would activate and hold into place the Darvro, keeping it in front of the Marauders viewport like a very bad episode of a space soap opera. Communications were opened as Captain Gaki did not get a word in to where a piercing voice would be heard, almost chalkboard scratching.

"This is the Captain Korana of the Nela. You are to release us, failure to comply, we will activate our self-destruct and ensure you along with your bridge, become space dust!"
"This is Captain Gaki of the Reborn. We would comply with the order but unfortunately, due to our tractor beams partly linked to our shield supply, will take at least ten minutes before we can release. I do ensure that we mean intentionally no harm, we just happened to jump at the same point and time, it was just a precautionay measure. Mr. Jin, lower our weapons strength. See? All friends...give us ten minutes, we do not need to blow up in the name of profit now do we?"
"Captain Gaki, you have ten minutes. Nothing more, nothing less. Anything launched, say hello to space!"

The communications would end as Captain Gaki silver tongue once again, tricked the enemy. He would get up a bit suddenly to go with his marines before falling back, still a bit winded and having the stimulants build up his strength again as the Rodian held him down. Several of the marines on bridge were looking to Captain Gaki for orders, as if wondering what they could do as the ship was equipped with a self-destruct mechanism. Finally, Captain Gaki had an idea as he looked over towards the marines and made motions with his hands.

"We have nine minutes, I need two fireteams out the top port and over towards the Darvro. Get breaching data spikes...MOVE!"

The marines would swiftly nod and start marching towards lift as they spoke into their communications for any full sealed units as they headed up towards the top of the Marauder towards the access port. Once there, they quickly outfitted with space faring suits to just manuver in, usually used in emergency situations or clean up, it would get them there but that was it. They would launch in three minutes, leaving six minutes remaining as they slowly floated out towards the Nela while trying to not get close to either the tractor beam pulls or near their viewports and worse...the turret. At the three minute mark, they would latch onto the hull quietly as they could, taking out unique looking dataspikes as they pushed them near the airlocks control panel as it would cycle through it, trying to divert power as they would have at that point, two minutes as Captain Gaki spoke into their communications.

"You have two minutes once you get in there, choose the timing when you open fire...bridge is the main priority, if he activates the self destruct, we have almost no hope for anyone inside unless you can deactivate it. Miles, I know you are with the group, I hope you brushed up on your programming. Usual compliment of this crew is three to four. Make sure...none of those of that crew survive. Any of the slaves found, get them directed towards our ship. It will take time to unload...gentlemen, I cannot stress how difficult this will be. Come back successful and I will owe you all a keg of rum."

Malagith

Clan Sharratt Chronicler
mW6qhRR.png

The Galaar banked hard and dove to the deck. The fighter began to line up the blast door that was beginning to open, letting out armed speeder reinforcements that would be responding to Clan Sharratt’s attack on the palace. Malagith had hovered for many moments, waiting for the blast door to go up and his patience was rewarded. Slowly, the large door rose. Malagith unlocked his weapons and locked on a spot where the vehicles would leave the reinforced bunker. The Mandalorian was not armed with proton torpedoes—this was a fighter designed for space superiority. However, as long as the armor was not too thick, concussion missiles would do the job just fine.

After lowering the altitude slightly, he loosed a pair of concussion missiles right into the entrance. A large speeder truck, full of jilruan soldiers was starting to make its way out of the bunker and met the two missiles immediately. A brilliant explosion of fire and super-heated metal began to fly in all directions. The twisted scrap blocked the entrance. Banking over to the right for a better angle, the Dala lined up and sent one more inside. At this point, the heavy blast door was already closing. Two concussion missiles were enough. The Jilruans did not have the ordinance to fend off an aerial attack at the moment. The third concussion missile found its mark deeper within the bunker and once again fire and metal flew out from underneath the closing blast door.

The communications on the channel came to life speaking about the escaping shuttles. Malagith quickly pulled up the nearest spaceport. With the speed of his fighter, he could be there in just over two minutes. Banking sharply to the left, he gained altitude and sailed over the high mountains and streaked towards the spaceport. While there were not any ion weapons on the Dala, there was enough precision firepower to disable ships—the hard way.

“Roger, Captain. Dala inbound to Spaceport 54 Delta. ETA two minutes…”

The voice that came over the comms was not the one Vox Stath was expecting, but the words were something he had been dreading. He knew that every mission carried this risk, and while it was not a role he ever sought, Vox was prepared to take on the responsibilities thrust upon him. Temporarily, at least. “Copy. Bachus, ensure safe evacuation of all wounded. Rendezvous as planned, we will deal with primary target.” Things changed on the battlefield, the best thing Vox could do was take it in his stride and proceed as planned. Any perceived uncertainty on his part could ripple through the squad and damage morale more than already. The loss of the Alor would be felt, and it was now Vox’s duty to minimise the fallout. But first, there was still killing to be done.

Non-verbal commands were given, and then the Mandalorians went in loud. Setting a breaching charge on the throne room door, the resulting explosion was soon followed by scattered blaster fire as the Clan warriors piled through the makeshift entrance in force. Jillath Ko was well defended and fortified, but his glorified thugs were nothing to the might of true Mando’ade. The battle was swift, decisive, and one sided. The Jilruan warlord was the last to surrender, and was quickly surrounded. He began to plead, to bargain, but it fell on deaf ears. Acting Alor of Clan Sharratt strode up to the dar’manda and drove a fist into his face to stop the pathetic squealing. Before more protestations could be heard, he levelled a blaster pistol to the false Mandalorian’s temple, pulling the trigger without hesitation. Thus ended the petty fiefdom of Jillath Ko.

“Round up any pockets of resistance. Release any slaves and prep for transportation. Then we-“ Vox paused halfway through barking out commands as his earpiece lit up again, with fresh orders. It seemed that Jillath Ko’s little legacy was not quite as contained as he thought. Returning to his squad, and broadcasting to the first fire team, Vox continued. “Target down, objective complete. New orders. Shuttles are trying to leave carrying slaves. Those shuttles do not touch the sky. Bachus, bring your team around to the spaceport, we will rendezvous there and take command. Eliminate all hostiles. Alor Stath, out.” Whilst not particularly sold on that final comment, Vox felt it a necessary evil. Chain of command carries on, no matter what may happen. One enemy defeated, another on the horizon. We go again. Gathering up his squad, Vox checked his ammo capacity then headed off towards the spaceport. Always more to do.

Objective 3 – Kill Jill. Compete.
Objective 5 started.

Myra commented that if that was the standard among the Gallows, then they should be fairly capable at protecting their own territories. "I concur, although I would like to see them in a more serious combat situation," He said providing some degree of skepticism.

This was about as civilized as a test of "strength" can get though, and Gad suspected that this was perhaps more ritualistic than serious. In a low tech society this would be suitable but with modern weapons and tactics, this was a bit outdated. Perhaps the point was more to see if there was a strength in spirit, or perhaps the real test of strength would be observed in their behavior as allies.

Their partner from the Gallows seemed quite capable in taking down both opponents, even when it was revealed they had a concealed vibroblade. She succeeded in the duel and even managed not to kill the young criminals. he decision to have them released into her forces seemed to surprise both Myra and Jilruan leader. "Recruits. She'll need plenty of them at this rate." Gad said, in response to Myra's question, even though it was directed at him.

"Unless I'm mistaken in my assumption?" Gad asked, allowing her to clarify.

The Jilruan leader seemed to discuss things with a few other officials giving them time to stretch and consider what the next test might be.

The large cragmaloid hopped onto the next dropship that touched down at the base. The Mandalorians with him also sprinted up the cargo ramp and the ship was quickly in the air again. The dropship was carrying thirteen of the Mandalorians with the Alor and a Mandalorian medic with the last dropship that was headed back to orbit to see to the health of Wren…but there was still work to do.

In the span of a few minutes, the dropship was landing on the tarmac of the spaceport. The dropship had barely touched down and all thirteen Mandalorians had offloaded and were enroute to the landing pad and hangar area where local ships were stored. A pair of Jilruan guards peeked out of the door with their weapons as the thirteen jogged up. Bachus slammed into the door, which created a literal bloody mess as one of the guards was nearly chopped in half by the door slamming. The other guard tried to get his weapon around, but the large cragmaloid grabbed his head and slammed it into the wall, creating a huge blood spot and the resounding sound of a crack as the skull was split open.

The team of Mandalorians made it to the rendezvous point where they would join up with the other team of Clan Sharratt Mandalorians before assaulting the hangar…

Prior to passing by one of her gallows threw her a rag that had been set aside prior to the match when moving to handle the younger kin. Using this time to wipe the sweat of her head and than moving to clean her armor of the blood that had been left marking it often were it had collided with their flesh. Watching as the Black Sun Reps made their way down, she finished just prior to their arrival and tossed it to the side, for it to be snatched up by unseen hands of a younger child slave that most had not seen or simply ignored. Listening to the Underlord as she spoke so graciously of Tesari's performance, she simply nodded with respect. The second remark was answered by the second Rep, which she simply smirked at and nodded looking to see that both her gallows and the younger kin had disappeared out the opposite gate. Probably leading to a dark cell were they had been imprisoned and would be kept until the paperwork was finished. Turning back she decided it was safe to make her own remarks.

"You would be correct, I always find it good to gain more of my fellow kin into my ranks. Though I'm never against other races joining, I just find Jilruans I can always trust in their performance. On top of that I'm always willing to offer slaves a chance to join my ranks, often I'll offer 10 years service in trade for freedom after, given I myself am a slave I think it acts as a valid motivator."

Looking up to see the other Jilruan still discussing the next plan, she turned back towards her employers.

"Most Gallows were slaves on that part, I'd say its 2/3 that remain even after their contracts end and they have more than showcased their capabilities to me at least. I prefer to keep my troops in top shape and prefer discipline along with small trained numbers over mass untrained troop tactics other mercenary outfits prefer. Specially when dealing with disposable assets such as slave troops, I prefer they are well trained and more than capable of surviving numerous battles than one time fights. Such things are better for droids if you want disposable, but alas if you find my performance to your liking, you'll find the Gallows adequate to your interests."

When she mentioned disposable, her mouth twitched dropping her smirk for only second, she had no love for slavery. But she saw it as simply a way of life, the powerful decided how things went and it was beyond the weak's choice to decide their own fates. But with that line of sight she hoped to make the weak into the strong and therefore give them a choice, much like her former master had done for her, a token to his memory. Even though she still considered herself a slave to his broken daughter, though in truth she had been free'd long ago.

The slave ships were quickly identified as the Dala streaked into the area of operations. The lead ship was gaining altitude and was approaching the upper end of the atmosphere. Pulling up hard, the Galaar streaked heavenward and quickly got into a pursuit profile. Using the targeting computer for precision shooting, the massive heavy laser cannons spewed green bolts into the freighter’s sublight drives, catching the engines on fire. The ship quickly began to lose altitude and plummet back down. Malagith left one sublight drive operational, so as long as the pilot was halfway decent, he could land the freighter…in theory.

Banking away from the first disabled craft, the fighter lined up the next ship. Attempting to avoid a similar fate as the first ship, the freighter began to make break for it. The much smaller KWT-91 Mandalorian fighter rapidly caught up, but other ships were beginning to get past. Locking on to one of the two sublight drives, Malagith loosed a concussion missile and then turned toward the next freighter. The concussion missile greedily sought its target and slammed into the right sublight drive, causing a massive explosion, sending that freighter limping back down to land…

Vox’s fire team was closer to the spaceport than team one, so they made their way to the destination on foot. Despite this, Bachus and his new command arrived slightly ahead of the acting Alor and his warriors. The Zabrak offered the Cragmaloid a brief salute but nothing more. He wanted to ask after the condition of Alor Wren, but knew this was not the time. Bachus was a good soldier, and a better Mandalorian. He was ordered to evacuate the wounded, Vox did not have to question if these orders were carried out. He knew to his very bones that they were.

Gathering the full might of the clan together, they marched into the spaceport and towards the designated hanger. Still speaking through his buy’ce, he addressed the assembled warriors one last time before the final assault. “Their leader is dead, their reinforcements have been routed. There is very little resistance left. This is their last stand, and they will fight till the last. Let us help them on their way. Take them out. K’oyacyi!” Stay alive. Once again checking over his equipment, Vox turned to face the last obstacle. With Bachus to one side and Graw at his other, the might of clan Sharratt would once again be felt.

Plenty of blood had been spilt on Jilruan soil today, the majority of it belonging to the enemy. There was still time for a little more to feed the plants. Those shuttles would not touch the sky.

Stop Slave Transports from Leaving the System

Marauder-Corvette "Reborn"
Fireteams Breaching Darvo-class Light Freighter "Nela"

mW6qhRR.png
The soft whine of the airlocks shifting through would keep the two fireteams on edge. Moment it opens, they have two minutes before everything went to hell. When it opened, each one would aim downwards and scan the hallway which was clear. Dropping down two at a time, they would brisky walk forward towards the main bridge. Passing by the turret room, a lone human would sit there, lounging about as the countdown would be going down from ninety seconds. Two from the second fireteam would carefully sneak up upon the male human and grab him, choking him out while covering his mouth as he struggled, being pulled back as the other two would kneel outside the turret controls, watching down the hallway.

The first fireteam would walk towards the bridge as the door was sealed, their clocks reading forty-five as there was a slight hiss as the co-pilot had opened the door, gasping out at the sight of a rather armored group of people as he was quickly shot with a blaster bolt at close range. As the co-pilot Zabrak was shot, thrown back into his seat, the pilot jumped up, one of those strange species where the face was almost the whole body as he scrambled to hit the self-destruct yet was shot in the back of...where, his body head and slumped over, killed. There was a loud chatter as the main slicer would go forward, breaking into the computer system as it would activate the controls and permanently disable the self-destruct.

"Contacting now. Captain, the Nela is secured. We have one prisoner, what are your orders?"
"I say we give him an early trial. Strip him down to nothing and toss him to the slaves room once you let them out. Give them weapons if needed and have two stand watch for problems. I say they deserve a little retribution."
"As you ordered Captain."

Back on the marauders bridge, Captain Gaki would end the communications as the Marauder-corvette would slowly turn away from the light frieghter as the Rodian would look down upon the Zabrak captain. There was almost a silent communication when the two looked at each other, nodding right at her as he spoke his next order.

"Lay in for the next jump, I am getting word our friends are grounding all transports...we just need to finish the job. Two were at this one, lets end this."
