BLACK SUN DOMINION OF JILRUA

Objective 1
Your Best Against My Best
The Outland Settlements, composed of Jilruans, are a people who respect strength. The Wardens of Black Sun have made it clear to the Vigos and Enforcers that these people are not to be wiped out or subjugated, but instead they would need to win the Jilruans’ respect by competing in their deadly trials…

Objective 2
But We Are the Good Guys!
The Jilruans are a fractured species. Most are in the employ of the Hutt Cartels, some are independent, like the Outland Settlements, and the last group is a group of settlements that rebel against the Hutt’s control. Black Sun has thrown their lot in with the Hutts of Jilrua. In return for their allegiance, Black Sun will take care of their “rebellion” issue. Eliminate the rebellion sect.

Objective 3
Kill Jill (Clan Sharratt Only)
Clan Sharratt has been tasked to take out Jillath Ko aka “The Spur”. It is rumored “The Spur” is a Jilruan Mandalorian Warlord that is responsible for slaughtering those opposed him and raiding nearby villages, often capturing young children for his own twisted, dark purposes. In truth, Clan Sharratt requested this task and notified the Wardens of Black Sun that they would see to this mission personally…

To Black Sun, Clan Sharratt was an enigma. For many Mandalorian clans, they saw Clan Sharratt as thugs, cutthroats, slavers, and a disgrace to what it meant to be Mandalorian. For Mandalorian clans that looked into Clan Sharratt more than surface deep, they began to understand that Clan Sharratt was deeply honorable and a zealous follower of the Resol’nare. They were a clan of contradictions. They got their hands dirty with deplorable tasks for Black Sun, but in opposition to this was that they would never participate in slaving or slaughtering women and children. Regardless, Black Sun had a longstanding contract with Clan Sharratt that had stood the test of time. Many whisper that Black Sun saved the clan from being wiped out during a dark time in its past and in return for this service, they allowed themselves to be hired on an indefinite basis by Black Sun, which often put them at odds with other clans. But so deeply rooted is their honor, that they will fulfill their obligation to Black Sun, even at the expense of perceived honor…

Bachus hated waiting. But the huge cragmoloid had done a lot of waiting on his Alor lately. Thankfully, his Verd’alor had been attentive to their next set of orders. In fact, Clan Sharratt had asked to take care of this problem for the Jilruan people. While they had their warriors, they were not Mandalorian warriors—and this Warlord had ruled with an iron fist long enough. To boot, he was a known dark influence on young children. While Clan Sharratt was not necessarily a scrupulous lot, they loved to be the hero from time to time…at least Bachus thought so.

The large Mandalorian shifted in his armor as the drop ship dipped beneath detection level. He tapped his large, clawed finger on the large gatling laser cannon resting in his lap. He looked over at his fellow aliit members and grumbled in his deep voice, “Betcha a thousand credits this dar’manda hu’tuun uses Jilruan females as shields to stop my bolts from pasting his face…”

OBJECTIVE 2: See to the Rebellion
LOCATION: Walking straight up to them.

Revolts, Revolution, and the barely passable government of these people of Jilrua has asked for some of us to go and see about their people who have been revolting, and are against the idea of their "leaders." In truth, I had to sympathize with them. Their people didn't seem all too keen on attempting to keep the peace and solve this out over talks. Instead hiring a growing major force within the galaxy to come in and solve their squabbles for them. How could they think that this would help the Black Sun? Bringing in people who needed to be babysat. I shook my head and just continued on. Dressed in my fiber armor, and holding a sheathed Nodachi in my hand.

These people were war like right? They used to serve Hutts, and in doing so, had no real form of a government. So those who revolted, would easily be under the calling of just one, or a small group of them who led the way. It was the easiest form of government. Tribal in nature and likely of the same lines of others within the galaxy.

So it was time to see if we could take them under our wing. However, under a much different way.

Drawing the Nodachi, I desired a little more effect. Showing I was not here to play around. As soon as I drew the curved single edged sword, it began to have a crimson aura. Shifting and flowing like the blood within the veins of those it has slain.

Walking straight up to their camp, seeing as they gave us an idea of where it would be, it didn't take very long at all to pin point a warrior race who were so bold. I proclaimed with a voice loud enough that likely about half of the camp they had would be able to hear me if they were close enough.

"I SEEK AN AUDIENCE WITH YOUR LEADERS. I HAVE BEEN ASKED TO COME SLAUGHTER YOU ALL, YET I AM HERE TO TALK. LET ME SPEAK MY PIECE AND WE CAN SOLVE THIS WITHOUT BLOODSHED."

The horned Draconic girl who was with me, even if she was reaching my own height spoke softly under her breath.

"We should just kill them all now and be done with it."
"And what good will that do? Make people resent the Black Sun for killing people at the orders of their own government? Seeing that they can't solve their own problems among their own kind? Seeking someone more powerful to do their dirty work? They hate those people. They happen to be Hutts and the cartel. No. Speaking will open a door that wouldn't even have been looked at by the Hutts."

Objective 3
Kill Jill
With Black Sun expansion further into Hutt space, it would not long before Sharratt boots were on the ground at Jilrua. Before battle plans were finalised, representatives from the clan put forward their desire to be involved in this conquest, and one task in particular. Jillath Ko carved out his own little holding on this world, a so called Mandalorian that spat on the idea of Resol’nare. Ko was no Mandalorian, and all his actions sullied the good name of the rest of them. He had no honour, and he would see his end at the hands of true Mandalorians. Whilst he was not fit to wear the name Mandalorian, Jillath Ko was still a renowned warlord feared for good reason. His threat would not be underestimated.

Gathered on a small dropship heading for the warlord’s compound, a strike force containing amongst them some of the best warriors clan Sharratt had to offer. So far as Vox was concerned, this shuttle was perhaps the deadliest collection in all of Black Sun space, if not beyond. Not really one for grandiose speeches, Vox was mostly silent during the approach, although there was little that would keep Bachus from speaking up. The Ver’alor’s face was impassive beneath his t-visor, and his tone betrayed little in the way of humour. “Let us not give him the chance, my friend. Jillath Ko is a dangerous adversary, but he has no honour, and today he faces Clan Sharratt. Today will be his last. Aliit ori’shya tal’din.” Family is more than blood. Vox looked around the shuttle interior at the rag tag group of proud Mandalorian warriors. Plenty of species were on display here, and a myriad of different backgrounds between them. The one common consistency was what brought them all together. The Resol’nare, the clan. It was a core aspect of the Zabrak’s life now, and he would do anything to protect that.

Vox had said his piece now and went back to his pre-combat ritual of quiet. Thoughts and battle plans raced through his mind, but he knew that no plan survived first contact with the enemy. Once this boat landed, a laundry list of things could hit the fan very quickly. Once again taking inventory of his gathered force, Vox had little concerns. There was not much that could stand in the way of the all-conquering Clan Sharratt. See you soon, Ko.

Objective One
Complete a Trial or Two
Myra would step off the shuttle, taking a look around before she would bring the Black Dragon mask to her face. Daemos would step after her, ducking as not to hit his head. "Why are so many of these chit planets just covered in desert?" Daemos would ask as he would take position behind Myra, folding his arms in front of him and generally trying to look tough. The Jilruans were coming to meet them, after all, the shuttle had directly landed outside of their city. "You ask like I would know." Myra teases back before stepping forward and announcing "I am Myra Raltel-Thaeleon, Black Dragon of Gold Lotus and underlord of Black Sun. I come not to make war, or to opress your people, but to prove Black Sun's worth. The Hutts have oppressed your people for far too long, we hope to remedy this."

The Jilruans would all look between themselves, muttering out of ear shot. Myra could already feel the heat getting to her, maybe the mask wasn't the best idea? A Jilruan would step from the crowd, approaching her "We have heard of Black Sun.. our Hutt oppressors have grown fat off of success, it is good to see someone put them in their place. But our respect is not so easily earned." Myra had guessed it wouldn't be easy, that is why she had brought Daemos after all. Myra would nod and with a sweeping motion to the city she would say "How could a people who built such a great city in such an inhospitable place be easy to convince?" "We are not easy to flatter either." The Jilruan would shoot back before turning and making his way towards the city. Myra would glance back at Daemos who would shrug, clearly amused at the failed tempt at diplomacy. Together the two delegates of Black Sun would enter the city, hopefully they would be getting more back up.

Rebels of any kind were always problems, sometimes more than others, rebels fighting for their freedom were rebels that Messorem could sympathize with, but ultimately not care about. He was a free man and he had slaves, his palace had many slave girls and maids, all serving his will, or his major domos will, but mainly his. That's why those that revolted were dealt with, harshly. It seemed the hutts of Jilrua hadn't learned that lesson, which is why they were so fractured now. However, they'd learn their lesson soon enough, especially if Messorem had anything to say about it, which he did.

Having decided to visit one of the outlying settlements, Messorem realized that it seemed one of the others from the Black Sun had decided the same thing. He had already entered the same settlement as the other Black Sun member, but he had done so covertly, making it seem like he was here for employment. Which, technically, was true, only not employment from these fools. The moment that Darren showed up, Messorem had mixed reactions, internally he was angered that he perhaps wouldn't have the chance to shoot some people, outwardly he made it seem like he was intrigued by what the man said. Several of the settlement villagers seemed intrigued as well, so it was the 'right' reaction to make.

Sighing quietly, Messorem joined up with a slowly growing group of settlement people, they were all interested in seeing what Darren had to say. One of them called out then, a rather burly man, with an angry look about him.
"Why should we take you to our leaders, you'd just slaughter them then!"

Several of the other villagers nodded in agreement, coming a bit closer together, as if forming a wall of flesh between Darren and the settlement itself. Shaking his head at them, Messorem merely leaned back against a wall, hat tipped down somewhat, even as he crossed his arms across his chest. For now he'd simply observe what would happen with these people.

OBJECTIVE 2: See to the Rebellion
LOCATION: Walking straight up to them.

INTERACTING: [member="Messorem"],

There are times when I would have easily drawn my sword, or called upon the powers that be to smite down the man who spoke up. Hell, I could have summoned bolts of lightning from the sky to strike him down where he stood. However, I held that urge back. Instead, I gave him a forced smile of evil intent. I needed to show this man that I had the power to do whatever I wished here. I needed to be able to show him, and the others here, that if I really wanted to outright kill these people, then it wouldn't take much. However, Black Sun was not very keen on people having Force powers. I am sure it would be easy for some to look up information about my name. Hell, there have been plenty of times I have been a Wanted Man with a bounty on my head.

I guess I should use it anyways just to prove a point. I can do my job, use the force, and still be able to hold the Black Sun's interests at heart.

Slowly closing my eyes, I used a very old force power of mine. One I rarely ever used because it took quite a bit of effort. Even if you didn't blink, you would miss the moment I had vanished from where I stood. Only to reappear directly in front of the man. Still holding my arms and weapon out to my side. Clearly I could hear gasps of air from people drawing breaths of the awe in which I performed.

"If I wished to kill your leaders, do you really think it would be difficult to get there on my own?"

Weapons and guns drawn on me, yet I just stood there. Smiling deeply directly at the larger man who spoke. Sure he was large for human. However, with my own height in question, I had a head and some of my neck above his own. I was not a small man.

"Now here is the deal I will make. Either lead me too them, or I can easily draw my sword, and cut down every person here without a second thought. I will sleep easy knowing that I got my job done for the Black Sun. Blood has already stained my soul. All of yours will not make it any redder."

Mara slowly then moved forward from where she was standing. Her darker crimson scales reflecting slightly in the light. She easily just put her hands into the pockets of her booty-shorts. Not really giving a care in the world about what was going on. However, she noticed a couple people who were different. Species that were not of the blue skinned people. Namely a man who kept to himself and was wearing outlandish gear compared to that of those who were here.

"One o'clock Darren."

My eyes flicked over to the man in question quickly. I then noticed him as well. Not saying a word, but understanding what she was throwing down. If this did happen to go into a fight, I am not sure if they were part of my side, their side, or would just be a bystander and not do anything. Only time will tell.

Things moved rather quickly after the larger man spoke up, and Messorem nearly missed it. Watching the other non Jilruan, Messorem blinked and suddenly he wasn't there. Turning his gaze over the crowd, he found the man before the large native, seemingly having teleported there. Eyes widening slightly in surprise, Messorem kept watching the events unfold from that point on. Even as the large native took an involuntary step back, hands automatically going for the pistol at his side. Others already had weapons aimed at the pair, though they were all very nervous, having seen a part of his power. That simple fact brought a smile to Messorem's face, let them learn to fear the Black Sun.

All in all the group seemed frozen, even as Mara walked towards Darren, though they did keep a wary eye on her as well. It was then that she noticed Messorem, though Messorem had noticed her long before. Soon after Darren saw him as well, smirking beneath his mask, Messorem brought a hand up to his hat and tipped it towards them, letting them know he noticed them. That done, Messorem moved, purposefully bumping one of the natives, an act that broke the spell that had befallen the crowd. They started to move, some backing away from Darren, others openly gaping at him while brandishing more weapons, and general confusion occurred, and in it all Messorem would disappear. He vanished through the crowd and was only seen for a few more moments heading towards the center of the settlement before he was simply gone, no longer seen by Darren or Mara.

The large burly man meanwhile nodded to Darren, eyes wide in fright.
"Uh... yes sir, understood sir." Visibly gulping, the man turned. "I'll take you right to them."

That done, the man turned around and walked in the same direction Messorem had vanished towards, the center of town. While doing so, he pointed at a group of lanky people that nodded before running ahead. As they did that, the crowd followed the large man, moving to encompass Darren and Mara, forming an escort and a guard force. A few minutes of walking would bring them into the town center, an open area that was comparatively flat, and had a main provincial building on the opposite side of where the group entered. On the outside sat a trio of large Jilruans, fully armed and armored, and very clearly the leaders of the settlement. Along the edge of the town center were around 20 armed and armored guards, also very clearly the best guards the settlement had.

Even as the group entered the town's center, the crowd behind Darren and Mara moved to block off the back way, while those to their sides and in front moved to stand by the guards along the buildings. Then there was Messorem, a keen eye would be able to see him, leaning in the same position he was the first time Mara had seen him, but this time he was in a side alley slightly behind and to the right of the leaders. Only a keen eye would be able to see him, as he blended in nicely with the shadows and other natural objects and darkness of the alley, not to mention that he was completely still. He was still there to observe what would happen, and the leaders were quiet, letting Darren speak first, as both a way to see what he wanted and to show that he held no power there. It was now up to Darren what would happen, violence or peace of some kind.

Gad joined the Underlord--Or Underlady--Myra on undertaking the task of earning the respect and compliance of the Outland Jilruan settlements. It seemed her initial attempt at approaching the leader of this particular settlement provided mixed success. While they seemed to take well to the Black Sun, they also wanted their organization to prove it's worth. Gad presumed that this would only be through the trial or trials that he had heard rumored in these lands.

"They seem cautious," he commented to her casually. "But at least they're honest."

He was genuinely curious as to how the Jilruans would turn out. He himself had an interest in their history and capabilities. Servants of the Hutts but valuable nonetheless.

Myra would look over her shoulder at Gad as they enter the city "The Hutts seem honest too if you don't know better." she didn't trust them, she trusted very few people for that matter. The city itself is incredibly primitive. The gate they entered is nothing but a stone archeway with a large metallic doors opened and closed by several pullies and ropes. Finding themselves in the central square just inside the gate, the Jilruan would lead the Black Sun delegates to a large dried up fountain, here he would sit, a crowd gathering around them. "My people respect three things and three things alone." He'd hold up a single finger "Might." A second finger would join the first "Wit" and the third would follow "Money. You have already proven the last but now you must prove the others."
Myra would give a brief nod, these same three things were respected in every society yet she knew the Jilruans would need proof "These qualities are abundant within Black Sun. Show us how to prove ourselves."

In truth, Clan Sharratt requested this task and notified the Wardens of Black Sun that they would see to this mission personally…

mW6qhRR.png

The dropship was dangerously close to the flatland below the ship. The pre-dawn darkness covered this land mass of Jilrua in shadow. Bachus and the other team of Clan Sharratt began to shift and get their gear ready as the red light within the dropship turned yellow. The pilots shifted the light to yellow when they were a few minutes from insertion. Bachus glanced up at the holovid display that showed the Mandalorians the same vantage that the pilots had--they were coming up on the looming palace quickly. The outline of massive turbolasers could be seen on the corners of the structure, but the palace was quiet and unmoving--they were still undetected...for the moment.

Bachus was following the Verd'alor's lead as the light shifted to green and the cargo ramp lowered. To Bachus, this was always the most unnerving part of clandestine operations due to the unknown...was an ambush waiting for them before they even exited their dropship? Fortunately, that was not the case this night--but it had happened before and Bachus knew he was lucky to be alive.

The Mandalorians of Clan Sharratt quickly padded down the ramp. An encrypted small network managed their communications and with those donning a buy'ce, it was completely silent. For those members without a helmet, they could hear, but had to be very careful before speaking. Thirty members of Clan Sharratt unloaded from the dropship in rapid fashion. As soon as the last one was off the cargo ramp, the dropship lifted from its perch, spun around and left the way it came. As the sound of its muffled sublight drive disappeared, the small army was in silence. Clan Sharratt were like ghosts maneuvering through the rocky areas, making their their way to the service entrance area that housed a landing pad for cargo ships. A pair of Jilruan guards stood motionlessly guarding the service entrance while a third guard paced the landing pad, looking out for intruders. Fortunately, the dropship was quiet enough and far enough away that these sentries had no idea it had been close.

Bachus held a gatling laser cannon in his right hand and massive machete in his left hand. He was crouched behind the largest outcropping to hide his hulking frame. He waited on the Verd'alor for whether they would try and take these three out quietly or go in, guns blazing...

Gad considered Myra's words on the Hutts and Jilruans. He agreed to an extent. Some were honest, others not so much, but the Hutt's reputation was well known. That said, not much was known about the Jilruans. At least in terms of reputation. He supposed the Jilruans would need to do a little more to prove honest. In a way, these trials might be a means of determining that.

Their host further explained the things his people respects. As Myra said, Gad knew himself that Black Sun had all of those qualities. "How may we prove our 'might' and 'wit' then?" Gad of course knew there were trials but his question was more aimed at determining what they consisted of.

He turned to Gad and said, "To prove the might of the Black Sun, we will need a warrior who can represent your forces. If they can survive against the opponents we pit against them in the arena. Then you will have proven the might of the Black Sun."

OBJECTIVE 1
Complete a Trial or Two
mW6qhRR.png
Tesari watched as the Black Sun Reps walked up to the city through her helmets Electrobinoculars, several members of the Gallows camped just bellow a ridge chatting and joking well they waited. Two others stood above on watch bellow a desert camouflaged tarp, a spotter and a sniper. Well this was a peaceful talk, she preferred to keep her new employers higher ranked members alive, so no blame could fall on her. Looking to two other Jilruan's that wore the same armor as her from the 1st Veteran Company, they looked relaxed as they slowly surveyed the city, they knew what to look for it was not the first visit to the city nor their last. This planet was their home, they knew it well much like their kin that lay inside the city, the only difference they had made the proactive choice to side with the Black Sun first. "We should head down, I too am interested too see how our new employers intend to handle the Jilruans challenges." Her kin, whos faces were hidden by their helmets simply gave nods of agreement, it had not been long since they had joined the Black Sun and well some of her companies were all ready off world serving the new masters, she had not yet seen for herself their capabilities.

By the time Tesari had arrived with her two kin in tow, the Black Sun Reps had all ready begun talking with several Jilruans who were deciding upon the first challenge, the one she suspected 'might'. Simplest when compared to 'wealth' and 'wit', without a doubt her Gallows were a showcase to the wealth though the ship that had brought them had also showed it too. The Jilruan people were a slave race to the Hutts masters, it was rare for them to be freed and most who had were apart of the gallows 10 year contract. Most wore simple clothing when compared to those that arrived, children sat above on the roofs to watch the new comers, deciding it more entertaining than training or playing. Most likely they had finished their duties and were given leave by their trainers or masters if only for a short time. Some adults spotted Tesari's approach with her two kin, their height and stature easily showcased to the kin that saw her that they too were Jilruan. Since many had seen their armor many times before serving the Hutts during periodic conflicts of interest, some looked with disdain and others with joy. Not all excepted her and those that served in the Gallows even if they too were of the same blood. Though others saw them as allies or even showed interest in joining if only to see a small hint of freedom from their contracts. Either or it mattered little to her, at present she had a duty and a loyal mission to follow, which aligned with her new masters the Black Sun. Reaching up as she released her helmet from the locking mechanism in her armor and unsealing it. A smile hinted her face showing sharp teeth, "Would it be unfair for me to participate in such a challenge my kin?" those simple words bringing all those that had yet been unaware to her presence. The Jilruan that led the group regarded her, she had met him before Survai, he nodded to her and those that stood behind her. "I'll leave that choice to your new masters Tesari, its before you to decided who will be the challenger and for us to decide which of our warriors shall fight."

Tesari simply continued to smile as her glowing yellow eyes shifted from Survai to Myra and her companions "The choice lies with you my lady." With those words many other yellow eyes seemed to turn towards her awaiting a decision.

Objective 3
Kill Jill

Vox Stath raised a fist to the small army surrounding him. There was a very brief command from Alor Wren, and the Zabrak knew well enough what to do next. The thirty strong band of elite warriors pushed forward under the cover of darkness. The Ver’alor split off from the main group of Mandalorians with two others. He chose to leave the resident Cragmaloid behind, feeling stealth was the best approach in this situation. Whilst a highly skilled operative and a genuine threat on any battlefield, subtlety wasn’t a word most associated with Bachus.

Silently sending his two companions to assassinate the guards, Vox went after the patrolling sentry. Holstering his blaster pistols, the Zabrak hugged to the terrain and was incredibly patient in his approach. There was no sense in rushing the situation, this sentient would die when he needed to. Whilst he had to change his vantage point a couple of times, eventually Vox saw his opportunity and took it. His left arm barred across the guard’s neck, with the right pulling it back like a reverse slot machine, the unbeknownst guardsman was soon removed from play. Disabling the incapacitated watchman’s communications, Vox then moved to take away any kind of weaponry. Whilst the guard was unconscious and bound, you could never be too careful. He returned back to the main group, his two assassins reporting similarly successful engagements.

Returning to the Sharratt strike team, Vox keyed in to the encrypted comm the full squad shared. His face was shielded by his buy’ce, his voice was all that they needed to hear. “First contact neutralised, we are silent. They don’t know we are here, and will not be prepared. We rush.” Moving his body to face the large Cragmaloid soldier, Vox addressed Bachus directly. “At my signal, unleash hell.” The Ver’alor moved through the closed ranks of Clan Sharratt, being sure that his assembled clansmen were ready for what was to come. Some of them would die on this day, casualties were a certainty of conflict. When it came to an engagement with Clan Sharratt, however, the casualties were vastly in favour of the enemy. With a final glance over at his Alor, Vox made his final preparations.

And gave the order.

The Mandalorians of Clan Sharratt stood like motionless statues. Prince Wren, the Alor of Clan Sharratt, gave the signal and the band of Mandalorians split into two large groups, one headed by the Alor and the other headed by the Verd’alor, Vox Stath. In clandestine operations, the simple plans were the ones that were able to be adjusted the easiest and eliminate much of what could go wrong. With a group this big, easy was better. Prince Wren’s group, along with Bachus and Akhuna, were to go in and cut off reinforcements from the main body of soldiers. Vox Stath led a group with Graw and Kat’ra that was going to go straight to the throne room area where their dar’manda target was supposed to be staying.

As the two groups of roughly 15 Mandalorians split apart, there were still no alarms in the vast complex.

Prince Wren led his group down a corridor that led to the barracks and armory. Bachus walked heavily behind him. Th Alor held up a fist for his group to stop. On a dime, the fifteen mercenaries stopped their progress as one. Moments later, a sentry rounded the corner. His head turned to the Mandalorians lying in wait. A meaty hand reached out and grabbed the helmet of the sentry. With a violent flick of his massive wrist, Bachus spun the poor, unsuspecting guard's head around in a complete circle…but his body was still facing them. The sentry collapsed to the ground with his neck broken.

Finally, they made it to the door of the barracks. The Mandalorians stacked up into two teams, ready to go in…

Prince Wren came across, “In position…”

It would be simultaneous when they went “loud”. Once they went “loud”, all bets were off…

Myra would pause, glancing over at Daemos as if thinking that he should compete. Yet, she would huff and shake her head. This whole thing seemed unnecessary, Black Sun had strength, far more than the Hutts ever did and it seemed foolish to have to prove it. "I haven't seen the strength of The Gallows first hand. Perhaps you should be my champion?" she muses, her eyes drifting to lock onto [member="Tesari Nuema"] amusedly. "After all I want to be sure we're getting what we pay for."

Myra would turn to the Jilruan who had offered the challenges, raising her eyebrows questioningly. The Jilruan remains silent, clearly just wanting them to pick someone already.

Secure Convoy of Missing Children

This was not a typical assignment, even for the Gaki Pirates but this was something of a last minute run down. With Clan Sharratt busy with their own assignment, it somewhat befell upon them when they received the encoded transmission while scanning down cargo ships in the area. Apparently a group of twenty children were on route from one of the spaceports to a drop off destination intended to be as a trade off point for slave trade but due to recent events, it has been changed out to go back towards the space port. Having Gamma 1 securing the cargo vessel in question at the space port through force in necessary, Captain Gaki was going to lead Gamma 2s assault on the convoy. With an actual ATR-6 Gamma Assault Shuttle starting to streak across the sky, he looked at his large squadron of nineteen men strong, with him included being twenty men as he spoke out loudly over the noise as the doors on each side were open.

"Men, this is our first assignment to the Black Sun we have and due to the conditions, I do not think Sharratt would mind much. We are on a very limited time crunch and we need to secure them at all costs. Talos, Iana and Baros are on me, we have five squads and our focus is the main transport. This is our first assignment officially as part of the Black Sun, we need to show them that Gakis Pirates aint no joke! Loot is an afterthought here gentleman! Got it men!"

They roared in approval as it was typical for them to be rowdy all the time, almost the most disorganized group of men in the entire galaxy. Captain Gaki gave a small sigh as there was a large beep from up front as the men yelled loudly of contacts with only two but the first one was a massive reading as it can been seen from the distance as Gaki would swear. It was a Sand Crawler and not just any, one of the very old ones which he still in amazement, knew how long it took to even get one of those running or started. It was massive with their own shuttle being dwarfed in size, it crawling slowly among the landscape with a Personal Skiff Model IV zooming on beside it as the Sandcrawler seemed outfitted with many weaponry on the outside as Gaki spoke out loud first.

"Any children on that Skiff?"
"No Captain!"
"Then wipe it from my view! Men in position! We are taking the top!"

The group would start grabbing onto any form of railing they got as the turbolasers erupted from the ATR-6 as it would miss wide, flying over them as repeater fire would erupt onto the ATR-6 with the tings of it hitting the armor be heard as he commanded one of the men to open fire on top of the Sand Crawler, to try and knock out one of the gunnery crews. A missile would streak out in front of them from on of the holders yet with the wind, smashed straight into the right wing as the loud whine of an engine would start to fail as the ATR-6 would start to drop as it made a last ditch effort to shoot forward onto the Skiff before landing, having issues as it would miss widely again as it skid on top of the Sandcrawler before halting on top. Gaki would turn and yell at the Rodian holding the rocket launcher, pointing his finger.

"That is coming out of your f*($king paycheck! Take that launcher away from him!"

A tall Trandoshan would grab the launcher and gently bonk it on top of his head, yelling at him over his stupidity with repeater fire still erupting outside onto their hull from up front as a salvo of turbolaser fire would end it as it was a glancing blow of turbolaser fire but destroyed the nest as the five squadrons would go outside of the shuttlecraft as it was weirdly positioned as all five squadrons would go over towards the edge and open fire onto the Personal Skiff IV with hopefully good results as it was belted by a barrage of blaster fire and killed many on board as they opened back with the Rodian that had used the launcher badly so much more forward than the others as he was pelted with fire as he fell forward with a Wilhelm scream as Gaki ordered to fire more upon the Personal Skiff IV. With Gakis squad, they had pelted it with enough fire as the engine would hiss then explode as the entire Skiff would be destroyed, ramming into the side of the Sand Crawler with no effect as it trudged a bit more before making a stop, the debris having caught onto one of the wheels. Squadron Five was way to forward and looked tripped out as they missed their targets so badly, it had to be just purely bad comedy. Captain Gaki would walk over with his blaster pistol and aim it at them, extremely pissed off as he did not want this to happen yet here it was.

"You drugged up damn mules! Get back on the shuttle and guard it! We will talk about this later! NOW!"

The squadron nodded as their goofy smiles were instead wide eyed as they ran back into the shuttle to guard it as the four squadrons would take out thermal paste and place it onto the top of the hull, spreading it around as they waited for the metal to melt, having their blaster rifles ready to go as they merely waited for what was to come.

Gad analyzed the Jilruan mercenary. Indeed they were pretty untested even if they did agree to work for the Black Sun. "I have to agree, I think this can serve as a good opportunity to test the might of the Gallows." The Jilruan leader nodded, and seemed to agree that the choice was valid. Granted it would become frustrating if they failed the Black Sun in this 'might' trial.

The leader turned to the Tesari, "You will face three opponents in combat, they are hardened criminals who believe they will be freed if they win. I don't think I need to tell you that they are quite dangerous. I would ask that you spare them from death but we would not be upset if you felt it was necessary."

He escorted the three of them to an enclosed area. It seemed to have been a landing location in the past from the looks of it, or maybe it still was, but right now it was just an empty space surrounded by walls and catwalks, allowing people to watch the fight from above. The crowd was fairly quiet. Most of them seemed to be officials or spectators who were curious about the Black Sun. Gad joined Myra on the catwalks, as Tesari was escorted through the door way leading into the arena floor. At the same time, the door across from her opened, allowing the three criminals to come through as well. They charged eagerly at their opponent.

Tesari nodded in agreement, turning to look at her kin, as he in turn spoke. She could not disagree with the situation, she had hoped to see her new contractors in action but supposed they felt the same level of interest in what they had gained. If anything she could always leave the final trial to them and see how their wisdom came out, also given the fact they had all ready completed one task and the most important to a merc riches she could not disagree.

"I'll try and not kill them, but I suppose it depends on how dangerous they actually are, though I do not doubt they hold some level of capability."

Following the group as they walked deeper into the city, heading for a old landing bay that had been converted into a arena, possibly for training the young. For the combat race like her kin they were built soldiers, often acting as entertainment in the arena and many were trained to ensure it. Such a location was not rare site on Jilrua, as she walked her employers and the others moved up some stairs leaving her alone at the gate or makeshift gate that acted as the barrier leading into the arena. When the group had settled in the gate opened by crank as two Jilruan pulled at some levers. With slow control strides she walked in, the opposing side she could see another gate following the same motion as the one she had just passed, but unlike her the other occupants that had entered through it were in a full on charge. 3 younger Jilruans who looked no older than 16, most likely run away slaves or even thieves.

Now she understood why the elder was hesitant for her to kill them, it was a waste to eliminate such young kin even if they had done wrong. But their inexperience could be seen in their movements and actions they simply charged in hopes of over powering a female of their race. But they did not run at a even pace, only showing they had not planned this well, the best course would have been to keep pace so all arrived and fought her at the same time. Though it would only be a few second delays before the others arrived she used it to her advantage, dropping low to the ground with her chest barely inches above the dirt floor and the muscles in her right leg and right arm keeping her in place as she twisted her body using the motion to extend her left leg. The First to arrive had been caught off guard by his opponent dropping to the ground with such speed and his charge was simply to fast to preposition himself, catching her extended left leg and sending him heel over head tumbling across the dirt with dust being kicked up.

The two that followed saw this and had more time to react, but by than she was all ready using the motion to bring her body back to its full height with a flip, during which her left hand dug up some dirt just prior to leaving the ground. Landing in between the two who attempted to turn to meet their foe, but the one to her left only saw dirt as it flew into his face as her left hand shot out with the dirt it had collected temporarily blinding him. The one to her right, the last one capable of taking action at the moment attempted to throw a right hook, to which she responded by moving her head inchs from the fist which passed over. With his arm fully extended she grabbed the wrist and ducked under his arm in the same motion twisting it and guiding the motion of his body towards his blinded friend. With her assistance she sent the man flying into the stomach of the blinded friend as he was just regaining his senses. The motion sending both of them to the ground, the few seconds in which they had fought the first she had engaged had finally regained his stance, a perk of young years of combat training.

Rushing towards her she simply smirked, with her back to him and her body extended having just shoved the two to the ground she twisted her body yet again in a spin towards him. Her armored arm still extended and her body missing the leg of the attacking as he attempted to give her one to the gut. The metal of her gauntlet smashing into the unarmored Jilruans jaw as her spin came full circle, which the motion carried over to him and sent him spinning as she felt bone crunch under the power of her attack. Leaving him knocked out she turned too the other two Jilruans, never losing her smirk as she taunted them to continue their attack and preparing her stance.

It was very painful to wait that long for the thermal paste to do its job but finally, it was done as the metal fell through as each of the four squadrons as well as Captain Gaki would descend through rappels affixed from earlier, having the surprise advantage onto the two enemy squadrons below, firing all weaponry at the first squadron as they rappelled downward. The combined blaster fire from all sides decimate and kill the first squadron entirely as all of second squadron shouted commands to get into cover, hugging the walls as the fourth marine squadron rapidly descended way to fast, smashing into the floor before and becomes disorientated, having to catch their bearings as the last enemy squadron opens fire on them, losing one of their men in the crossfire as everyone got into cover. Opening fire again, they all got up in unison and moved forward, slaughtering all of the enemy foot soldiers as the marines held up their rifle, clearing out the area as Captain Gaki went towards the only room on the floor and opened it up with his blaster aimed, finding nothing but weapons and armor as he noted to the men. "Found our Salvage. Squadron Five, come down and retrieve all this gear." There was at least twelve thousand credits worth of weaponry and armor in this one room alone, moving forward towards the stairs as they descended down onto the next floor.

As they kept going downwards onto the next floor, another enemy squadron awaited them as they turned, screaming out orders as the allied squadrons started to open fire while they were not in defensible positions along with Captain Gaki, killing three of them as the lone soldier kills another from Squadron Four as the people started to move in with Captain Gaki getting the final blow as he fires his DL-56 and kills off the last soldier. Barking out orders, he awaited from afar as he motioned the squadrons to their respective rooms to search as there was only two on this floor. "Squadrons One and Two, secure Room One. Squadrons Three and Four, secure Room Two." Squadrons Three and Four were up first, opening their doors as they entered into what appeared to be a server room, sticking in a jump drive as they downloaded any mission critical information for decryption later as Squadrons One and Two find the reactor room, only to run across two enemy squadrons as a firefight broke out as they both exchange fire with Squadron Two being out in the open, not knowing the definition of cover as one enemy soldier fell as they returned fire, killing off one of Squadron Twos men.

Captain Gaki would then join the frey along with Squadrons Three and Four, Captain Gaki pulling out his Zenji Needles and with the help of the Force, throw them as they found two targets, stabbing through the soft parts of their armor and killing them along with another due to blaster fire. The enemy squadrons would return with their own blaster fire but could not get a clear shot with the overwelming amount of firepower going on as Captain Gaki barked at his men to get better aim, raising his arms as the Needles would come back to his fingers as he let his men open fire with Squadron One going out of cover, flanking the first enemy squadron as blaster bolts rained down upon them, killing them off as the second enemy squadron was now pinned down with Squadrons Three and Four tossing grenades over their cover as they stumbled down the reactor shaft, exploding harmlessly with sonic shockwaves as the enemy soldiers stopped to reload their blaster packs.

Captain Gaki would move forward as he threw his Zenji Needles once more, killing off the remaining foot soldiers yet one of the Zenji Needles refused to retract back towards Captain Gaki, imbedded as it started to crack as he shook his head, losing one of his prized Zenji Needles. "Bound to happen eventually...all men, follow to the second floor while I pocket these and wipe them clean." As Captain Gaki cleaned his Zenji Needles and checked for imperfections, walking as his men would run down the stairs into the second floor towards two enemy squadrons, perking up as they heard enough noise as they opened fire, another firefight ensured as the last two of Squadron Four fell dead, falling down the staircase as an even number on their side fell. Captain Gaki would soon step downward as he yelled at his men, firing onto the first squadron as another fell and with his men, the last fell. "They need us my men! We shall not stop! We shall not falter until they come home!" With the last enemy squadron of men firing upon them, they moved up in rank, not once stopping with Gaki opening fire with them, moving as one cohesive unit as one by one, the last members of the enemy squadron fell to blaster bolt fire as they stopped and looked around, counting as he spoke. "Four Rooms. Squadrons One and Two to Room One. Squadrons Three and myself on Room Two."

As Gaki and Squadron Three burst into yet another databank room, sticking another jump drive in, Captain Gaki was yelled at from afar as it got his attention. "Sir! VIPs have been found! I repeat, the VIPs have been found!" Rather quickly, he ran across the hallway and into the other room, seeing before him nothing but Jilruan children as they were barely clothed and some looking malnourished as Captain Gaki opened up communication with those up top.

"Gamma Two, we have the VIPs, is the engines repaired as of yet?"
"Captain, the Gamma Two is up and operational though only for a short time, we only can go so far." \
"Understood, we are bringing the VIPs up now. All men carry one of these children and lets go!"

Each man would pick up a child though some would pick up two depending on their own size, running through as people were yelling from below as grenades were tossed to buy some time from below. The main objective was found, it was time to bug out. Gaki as his squadrons of marines would hook onto their rappels as enemy soldiers entered at the main floor and fired upwards, missing as they climbed up and ushered the children onto the ATR-6 Gamma Assault Shuttle as the stoned our Squadron Five merely waved as Captain Gaki would scream. "Get us out of here!" The ATR-6 would whine and slowly lift off as the doors would slide shut as the entire assault shuttle was shake and sputter as Captain Gaki would open up his datapad as he spoke into it.

"Gamma One, how is the current situation?"
"Gamma Two, we are in place, about to breach."
"Gamma One, eliminate all hostile, no survivors."
"Understood."
