Sempra the Hutt
A very hutty hutt!
Sempra the hutt leaned back in the majestic seat in the ancient white palace throne room.
Around him guards, slaves and all sorts of bussiness associates were mingling looking for opportunities or merely basking in the revived cartels new found status.
Sempra eyed them all silently, most were minor associates and he only considered a few really valuable.
these are mere assets... he mused and yawned. An action that worried the entertainers in the room. Was the hutt displeased? They were never given the chance to learn as someone entered the throne room that did wake Sempra's attention.
"Ah, the skilled [member="Cadan Tazi"] ..." he belowed and clapped his hands three times. The signal meant for the room to be emptied and soon Sempra, Cadan, Sempras pale translator and a handfull of trusted body guards watching from the shadows remained.
"I hear you have recruited an interesting group of pilots to your crew Cadan." he hummed in between gulps as he threw a helpless tree frog into his mouth.
"I also understand you want to put them to a test. Well I got a job for you." Sempra waved for his albino slave to hand over a datapad to Cadan.
"As you know [member="Flannigan Mcnash"] is expanding his duties to the cartel and I must offer means to provide the jackals proper aid to maintain this, along with service to my soon acquired slaver fleet." the hutt chuckled fond of his own plans.
"There is a shadow port, run by an irritating Nikto pirate called Ondar. That man is a small time gangster but with his current rate of growth he will become a competitor to our plans for this sector. He is simply a nuissance to our future operations and he refuses to accept my generous offer of relieving him from his station. His sole power rests in that he keeps his shadow port well hidden from us. The port is an excellent repair and refuel depot, and he manages his network from it. We know it is near the Sriluur system." the hutt leaned in closer and lowered his voice.
"However, we will soon have this upstart crushed and brought in chains before this very throne." the Hutt declared.
"I have finally found a way to track the location of that shadow port. One of his pirates, G'narth, makes regular travels to and from Nar Shadda. He deals with arms. G'narth, however, is also a spice junky and my operations is slowly gaining a foothold on the smugglers moon. Through this I have learned about his flawed tactics. He uses only two different hyperspace routes and we know about one of them where he exits hyperspace at a specific location to then rejump further to the shadow port."
Sempra swallowed a second tree frog.
"Your job is to lay an ambush on G'narth at that location and make sure he cant make the final jump. Once his ship is neutralized you need to board it. What I want is the nav-computer of the ship. With it in my possession Ondars shadow port wont be secret much longer. Apart from the shadow port location I will also have access to one of the largest ships the hutts have commandeered. A carrier of immense proportions. Ondar has no resources to man or fuel this ship. It is merely waiting for me to pick it up. And with it we wil have access to its design blueprint."
"Any further spoils is yours, it is likely that you will find weapons in his cargo - altough as usual, if you find anything of interest I will of course consider buying such items for a generous price. Apart from this I will transfer a sum to cover your expenses of food and fuel."
"The location for the ambush is embedded in that datapad. I would bring supplies for a few weeks since his travels are on irregular basis."
"Any questions? Otherwise I would see to assembling your team and get to work."
Sempra smiled cunningly at Cadan.
