SPECIAL FEATURES
  • This replaces normal Synthskin with Phkalt Organic Skin, interlaced with magnets with a neural interface to interact with to enable different functions.
  • Armor Mode allows to let the Phkalt Organic do its job, reversing the magnets to strengthen the skin to withstand some of the worst energy weapons the Galaxy has to offer, including lightsabers.
  • Stealth Mode allows the magnets inside the Phkalt Organic to activate naturally, creating a shimmering effect that keeps the user hidden from view and extends out one meter. Thermal Sensors are fooled generally in this mode as it reflects the heat source away from the body, resembling a strange mist.
STRENGTHS
  • Cute Lightstick, Let Me Hold It!: It reflects energy weapons such as blasters, disruptors and even lightsabers, so much so that one can hold the blade to keep it from striking!
  • Shimmer Away!: It can blend into the environment, making it a bit more difficult to spot when the Stealth Mode is engaged.
WEAKNESSES
  • Hot Hot Hot!: While it can hold a lightsaber, if held onto it with any energy weapon, it will start to cut into the synthskin. Even freezing the skin, acid or other unusual methods can do drastic results against the other user.
  • Ionic Issues: While it cannot effect the user in totality, it does an interesting quirk. When hit with an ionic blast, it slams the user out of Stealth Mode for several minutes, forcing it to use Armor Mode.
  • Stop Hitting Me OW!: Just because it is blaster proof, does not mean it is idiot proof. It relies on the user to still take cover and not get shot repeatedly, doing so will damage the skin enough to where it will need repair. The user still has to be smart in a firefight.
  • Exposed Areas: It does not cover the eyes, inside the ears, mouth or does it cover any private areas of the human body. There is still areas even a soldier would not wish to be shot at and needs to be careful.
DESCRIPTION
After a lengthy process that required multiple tests of the Phkalt Metal Organic, a synthskin was created for the cybernetic soldier in need...or perhaps just the person that wants an edge in combat. It completely coats over the users normal cellular skin structure, making it much harder to kill in a direct blaster fight. It is applied during cybernetic surgery to fill the skin with a liquified Phkalt Metal Organic and gently spread over the users skin. It is reliably good for ten years before needing to be reapplied, due to the skins natural shedding. The magnets however remain as they are implemented under the skin with nanomachines but filter out of the bloodstream after thirty years though it is recommended to let them get controlled out before then to prevent any unusual mishaps.
