SPECIAL FEATURES

STRENGTHS
  • Sealed and Packed - The powersuit is sealed against many environmental influences and will even resist the vaccuum, just as its Zero-G and Clone Braze Trooper armor inspiration.
  • Put that Glowstick Away - The auraplast and songsteel are strongly reinforcing the suits ability to deflect lightsaber blows. Its cortosis shield gauntlets will even short them out.
  • Knock, Knock - Due to the ancient Force mask technology incorporated into the helmet, the wearer is quite extensively protected against Force mind tricks and influences.
  • AT-AT - The heavy plates and shield generator plus additional weaponry make the Scutarius-variant an extremely potent and well protected armor. [Variant D1]
  • Fly - With the optional upgrade of a jetpack, the Scholae-variant gets quite a speed and maneuverability upgrade. [Variant A2]

WEAKNESSES
  • Extremely Heavy - The Phase I is very heavy and average humanoids will not be able to move in it, even though it is supported by a heavy exoskeleton and reactors to pwoer it.
  • EMP/Ion - The powersuit is not well protected against ion attacks on its own and due to the high support of electrical conducts and servos, if they are shorting out, the armor will be quite the useless bit of precious metal.
  • Fancy Cracks - The armorplates are extremely well decorated and designed, but they are made to be easily replaced and under heavy fire will crack, scorch and scatter, making maintenance extremely time-intensive.
  • Hide? Where? - Due to the size and coloring, the wearer will have serious difficulties to hide or conceal themselves.
  • Vulnerability on the Backplate - The frontplate, shoulders and and leg-guards are very thick armor, but the backside holds the generators and is less thick, possible to cause catastrophic, lethal damage. [Variant A2]
  • Hulking Brutes - The Scutarius-variant adds additional plates and a generator to the armor, making it not necessarily more heavy for an augmented wearer, but they are much less able to be agile and maneuverable. [Variant D1]

DESCRIPTION
The Olympian Armorsmiths under the personal leadership of Aurelian Sigismund were working for a long time to improve on the hulking power-armors and suits of before, Researching on the best armors the Galaxy had to offer, past and present, the idea was to get a powersuit which would serve as extension of a wearer, not just an armor. An intimate relation between the wearer and their suit would make it much more than just a piece of gear.

The primary goal was to make an armor which would work anywhere, anytime. Ignoring atmosphere, vacuum and any poison or biological weapons in the air. As they were not limited by size and weight due to the including of extremely powerful reactors coupled with a strong exoskeleton, the plates could be thick, protecting the many internal systems.

Taking the Clone Braze Trooper armor as foundation, a new suit was developed which was ultimately resulting in the Phase I Legion Armour.

Designed for the Technocracies new clone army, the Phase I is uniquely decorated, each set of it, to resemble not pride, nobility or extravagance, but superiority of ideals, skills and knowledge. It was set to be a reminder of strength and justice, that noone would stand above it.

Especially not those it was aimed to combat - Force users. With heavy focus on protecting against lightsabers and even giving the soldiers increased resistance against Force attacks. Overall the armor was nothing simply made, something off the rack - it was extraordinary, exceptional and strong in its purpose.
