+ Energy + Use of Druetium as well as the Banterweave provides excellent protection from Energy based weaponry aside from generally protecting from this form of attack, allows the wearer a higher chance of being knocked unconscious rather than outright perishing.
+ Kinetic + Druetium on its own is highly resistant to this form of attack, and paired with the Banterweave provides excellent Resistances to this type of weaponry, extending so far as to make Vibroblades a worry more than a direct threat.
+ Disruptor + Banterweave by itself protects from this form of attack, there exist some drawbacks however.
+ Airborne/Gas + The inclusion of a Sythmesh face mask provides protection from airborne gasses and toxins to a degree.
+ Regulator + With a Cardio-regulator inbuilt into the utility belt, the being wearing the outfit will find their ability to fight in relative calm for extended times, but with a slight drawback.

- Disruption - While able to protect at a much higher and less technical level than most systems, a strike to exposed skin will still result in disintegration as it is the Banterweave that is resistant. A headshot will still result in a disintegration, as well as a shot to the foot or hand.
- Sonic - Aside from providing little protection from Sonic weapons, this form of attack also temporarily or even permanently endangers the Disruptor protection offered by the Banterweave given the base materials weakness to it. Interrupting the chemical composition and potentially rendering the Disruptor protection moot.
- Radiation - The Banterweave allows Irradiated particles to cling to it, and presents a liability on top of not Shielding the wearer from this type of scenario.
- Acid - In a similar fashion to Radiation, the Banterweave provides an excellent surface material for Acids and Corrosives to cling to, making the need to remove the Banterweave an immediate need more than remaining in a fight or security station.
- Cardio-Regulated - While the belt aids in allowing the wearer to fight longer and more calmly, when the allotted time runs out, the effects of extended fighting come crashing down. A debriefing and medical examination is suggested for anyone after combat in this gear.
- Sythmesh - The face mask provided offers a limited protection from Airborne gasses and toxins, and is not capable of more than stopping one from inhaling them to a degree. It is not a proper gas mask, but a stop gap to allow the wearer to either escape or find a proper rebreather to replace their facemask.

  • Rifleman Layout - Top Center Image shows the general layout used. Featuring a chest piece, shoulder, and shin protection.
  • Heavy Rifleman Layout - Top Right Image shows chest piece, shoulder, arm, hip, and shin armor for combatants predicted to be in the thickest fighting.
  • Officer Gear - Bottom Left image shows the typical officer layout featuring only the shin armor atop the provided jumpsuit.
  • Close Quarters/Grenadier Layout - Bottom Center Image shows the typical layout lacking the chest piece in lieu of additional pockets/magazine sleeves, shoulder armor, hip and shin armor for mobility and range of motion focus.
  • Riot Gear - The typical layout of someone fighting either in confined spaces, wielding a shield and baton featuring only the right or left shoulder and arm protection, and shin armor.
While not a dire need, the designers at PGEM found after a collective study that the galactic governing bodies had a variety of uniforms available, while most smaller companies lacked any sort of dedicated uniform aside from either mining companies and or private security groups with enough credits to splurge on them. And even then, most did not entail anything more than a standard jumpsuit outside of perhaps the requirement for a particular style of clothing.

Straying away from their usual starship and starship weapons design, they took a break from the overly technical drafts and designs to attempt a much smaller scale project. Beginning with their newest creation, Banterweave, and processing it into a Jumpsuit as a base layer for the design. After rounds of back and forth about the potential market for such a product, it was decided that the teams would focus on marketing towards smaller private security groups, as well as simply providing a simple but sturdy combat and operations uniform within their own company should the need arise.

PGEM did, after all, maintain control over a number of dedicated naval assets.

Citing potential in house use, alongside offering the finished product to the open market, the project was given the green light to begin designing potential combatant protective gear. Beginning simply with something that any Naval officer would find appealing. A simple jumpsuit featuring a number of pockets, alongside a colored mantle to display their badge of rank. The next was a dedicated rifleman's armor. Which presented them with a rather strange predicament.

What armor design would they follow?

Dredging up a number of different designs, it was found that antiquated designs that had been redone for more current materials and manufacturing methods would do just fine. Even being able to find a number of press and mold systems on sale for horrendously cheap prices from varying sources. The next hurdle was equally as simple to remedy.

What material would they use to distinguish themselves from the other arms manufacturers?

Citing their relatively cooperative deals with HPI, PGEM designers worked out a deal to provide HPI with the molds to have raw Druetium injected and provided to PGEM as a semi-finished product. Aside from very light assembly, the product that arrives in the crate post-purchase contains everything a soldier or private contractor requires for their most basic needs. Armored Gloves, Military Boots, Protective Jumpsuit, a series of belts and pouches, along with the appropriate armor plating.

Equipping the armor is simple, as most of it simply fastens together and rests atop the jumpsuit. A series of straps aids in keeping the armor in position alongside keeping the jumpsuit in place during active use. While not as extensive or comprehensive as dedicated government manufactured armors, it does provide the larger galaxy with a baseline system to operate within simple and comfortable armor.
