  • Kirishima Cap Drains - Help feed incoming energy into the shield systems to keep the ship from being knocked out for boarding.

+ Shields + The shield system complements the armor of the vessel quite nicely, even sporting a cap drain system which feeds incoming energy back into the system for a healthy boost.
+ Armored + Not great by military standards or custom pieces, as a standard ship it comes with decent capabilities all it's own.
+ Dual Purpose Weapons + One unique mention is the duality of the spray cannons, as their tri-beam design can function as an assault weapon, or defensive weapon.

- Lightly Armed - This is not meant to jump into engagements lightly. The weapons equipped punch well above their weight, but are limited to a forward arc and a top arc.
- Kind of Brickish - While the ship is fast, it trades off in the maneuverability department for that speed.
- Dual Purpose - The downfall of the dual purpose spray cannons is once dedicated to defense, the offensive capabilities of the craft decline sharply.

A crew of two is optimal for this vessel though one may fly it at decent operating capacity. Not the lap of luxury as some vessels of perhaps larger size, the Puddlejumper is a decent start for most seeking to gain a start in the field of freight hauling. A bunk system inbuilt to the wall behind the cockpit optimizes living space, as well as stowaway furniture such as a table and chairs help to maximize storage capacity in the ship.

All pertinent information from sensors and operating systems are fed through one of two chairs depending on personal configuration. The systems are relatively basic, not needing intensive training to figure out or maintain. And a majority of the systems and parts on board are readily accessible throughout the larger galaxy as universal parts. The cabin is fully capable of being sealed and pressurized for escape purposes.
