  • Dedicated Co-Pilot- From flying duties to weapon system management, the system is designed to function as a reliable second for those that lack an organic co-pilot.
  • Slap it on Anything- From starships to military walkers and anything in between, the applications of such a system are limited by the constraints of storage, power, and willingness.
  • Security- The system is more than capable of providing on demand security detail for whatever it is attached to should it be assigned/programmed to do so.
  • Total Integration- The system is designed to completely integrate with internal systems such as on-board sensors, flight/vehicle controls, fire control systems, and much more.
  • Ionization Buffer- A holdout defense more than a significant boost to its entire defense. The integrated Ionization Buffer will save the droid system from being entirely wiped, but does not entirely prevent the system from power surges that may result in its shutdown. These shutdowns can vary from simple reboots, to total system shutdowns needing intricate repair of conductors and other systems.

  • I Can't Let You Do That- Unlike an organic co-pilot, this co-pilot can be hacked or infected with malicious systems. Inclusion of such a system is an at your own risk addition by purchasing parties.
  • Upgrades People- While a dedicated and unwavering co-pilot is handy, it doesn't rightfully compare to a trained organic in the end. Intuitive choices and flying abilities are left behind for analyzed data and dedicated, if predictable, programming.
  • Stand Its Ground- Being assigned security duties for the attached vessel or vehicle comes with the knowledge that the system may take drastic steps in its defense and the owner will be liable for any damaged properties or loss of life as such.
  • Total Integration- Should the system be hacked, there is a possibility of the integrated controls being turned against the owner to their demise, or used in their capture/detainment.
  • Down but not Entirely Out- A final downside to relying on the system is the owner finding themselves at the receiving end of a significant Ion or EMP blast that puts the system into a complete shut down state. While it may not destroy the system outright, intensive maintenance may be needed to bring it back online, and the midst of battle is no such place for intricate repairs. Potentially forcing the pilot to enter into duties formerly occupied by the droid system.

The use of the Queen Artifical Intelligence System in military vessel was a marginal success, and sighting the need to appeal to the larger market, decided to amend its designs to allow for smaller vessels to be equipped with similar functional systems.

Pulling from a popular modification, PGEM standardized a few of the inherent systems to better allow for universal acceptance in starships or even atmospheric vehicles. Even seeing potential within the general construction of space stations as dedicated security systems. With complete integration into the base systems of an equipped vehicle, the Queen's Knight system is fully capable of acting as a pilot Droid without the need to have a physical Droid frame present to occupy space.

As well, the system acts as an automated custodian of sorts to keep the equipped vehicle secure with instructions from the owner.

Wielding the might of the equipped vessel in lieu of another organic, the system is able to relieve a single pilot of the need to pull double duty in vessels requiring a second pilot or dedicated gunner. The system may assume flight responsibilities or fire control responsibilities with direction from the vehicles owner or commanding officer. The advanced appendage bus allowing for smooth computation over typical systems in data transfer from sensors to the Shackled Artificial Intelligence for decision making.

While some potential issues can occur if the vehicle is ill equipped against invasive software, the need to protect the internal systems falls on the owner of the vehicle rather than coming standard. Seen as a way to allow for some choice and diversity in software protection that is comfortable to the purchasing party. As well as removing the chance for a universal failure of the standard software package.

All in all, the Queen's Knight is an entirely capable system as a plug and play module for pilots not wanting to give up their independence with another organic aboard their vessel. But still wanting to fill the need for a co-pilot or dedicated gunner for their vessel or vehicle.

It is cool! Please modify the Affiliation, I suggest to write your company there, because the sub is open market, so anyone could use it without your permission:
Affiliation: (Individual Character Name (an individual PC/NPC who is permitted to use this item), Company Name(s) (Companies authorised to use this submission), Faction Name(s) (Factions authorised to use this submission), other potential options include a submitted NPC unit, or another general organisation/group.)
