The Aerolance Series represents a cutting-edge line of kinetic weaponry that bridges ancient solid slug technology with modern battlefield innovation. Each model utilizes Normal Grade Ethaerium gas, ionized via high-voltage current to generate controlled plasma bursts. These bursts propel dense ferromagnetic slugs at extreme velocities with minimal reaction signature, making them ideal for both atmospheric and vacuum engagements. Designed for adaptability, the Aerolance cannons can be mounted on vehicles ranging from light starfighters to dreadnought-scale platforms, as well as tracked IFVs and siege-class walkers.

Some of the standard features across all of the Aerolance system of Plasma-propelled Mass Drivers include a shock absorption system that aids in solid ammunition cycling. As well, through the use of Ionized Plasma Propulsion, inert Ethaerium gas is converted into hot plasma bursts to reduce excess recoil while maintaining projectile speed. Even using this method of propellent with the inherent high energy output, the magnetic containment design disperses residual trace, masking firing origin from some sensors. Alongside this, the Modular Firing Chamber allows compatibility with various slug types, including armor-piercing, EMP(on certain platforms), and incendiary for as needed changes with any shift in mission requirements. Finally, the smartlink integration allows all models to be integrated into droid brains, starship targeting systems, and atmospheric fire-control networks.

The AMPMD balances power and sustainability, delivering 70mm kinetic slugs accelerated by a burst-chamber plasma propellant system. It is often either a fixed mount on smaller starships, turret-mounted on larger starships, or integrated into heavy walkers and other ground vehicles. This weapon platform is most ideal for anti-vehicle operations, starfighter interdiction, or space-to-ground bombardment and is favored by gunship craft for its versatility.

The Dual-feed system allows for variable loading of different belts without removing the weapon from the fight completely and the bore size allows for alternate munitions such as Explosive Slugs, low yield EMP slugs similar to Ion Mortars, depleted Baradium slugs for armor piercing, Anti-personnel canisaters, and Anti-vehicle canisters depending on need.
