Pest Control: Star Destroyer Takedown

Aedan Miles reached up and tapped his ear bud that was connected to his comlink. @HK-36 "Hey yea so I am cutting through two floors no knights yet just standard troops they might be below us though there is a check point there." Aedan continued to cut through the floor biting back a curse as blaster bolts flew past his head over and over as Sith Troopers were starting to use corners as cover. His men quickly moved and started to pour fire down the hall way with weapons they had from their time as pirates using Blas Tech weapons firing quickly as they could trying to keep Aedan from being hit. @McNeal "HEY KEEP THEM OFF OF ME GUYS!"

[member="Aedan Miles"] seemed to have trouble cutting through metal. "You know, I think that thing is broken." He said commenting on his saber. As more came out, McNeal got a idea. "Here, don't drop them." He said as he did exactly that, dropping the bag of emps next to Aedan. He ran after the troopers, blasting away with his carbine. Some were dropping, others began to run off. "I'll get them away, just throw emps at the engines." He commed the force user. Running down the corridor after the running troops.

Ember looked around at the debris of all the gunships the Contruum had killed so that the boarding ships could get close, let alone enter the hangar bay.

"Gunships are all down. Aft guns are down. Get those shields down."

"I am aware," Moira said flatly. Far as she was concerned the droid unit referred to as [member="HK-36"] was far too human. One of those organic lovers who one day would have to be purged. The fact that her pursuit of the purity of metal was very close to the fundamentalist zealotry so many organics pursued was obviously lost on her.

Regardless at the turbolift they piled in, Moira jammed a spike in the control panel and up they went. The turbolift rocketed upward with flashing red lights, but soon came to a halt. As the hatch opened they could behold the bridge before them, Sith stormtroopers and what not, more meat for the meat grinder, more targets to exterminate. In a blur Moira had given the Iron Knights a signal and brought up her boltgun and the flat crack of the weapon was heard as she squeezed the trigger, a blinding flash of light filling the hall before them as a flash round was ejected from the gun.

As the flash erupted Moira was in motion through the blast of light, sending a stormtrooper flying through a hard kick to his chest. A grenade tossed towards her by a Sith stormtrooper who had sought cover under a console was blasted out of the air by her shatter pistol, skilled machine targeting and aim, shrapnel flying, then took the soldier out with a shot between the eyes that punched right through his helmet.

And as far as HK was concerned, Moira was ready to backstab him at any time, he wondered sometimes, whether it would be necessary to backstab her first to prevent an all-out battle between them? Such calculations disturbed him, he tried to keep them away from himself.
HK looked up slightly as the turbolift shot up, giving out a swift command,
"Gas cover and then dance."
His guards and Iron Knights nodded, clutching their respective weapons as some of them took the spherical gas canisters, priming them as the door to the lift opened.

Moira gave a signal and the grenades where thrown into the bridge, a trail of yellow-ish green smoke following them as soon the compartment was filled with the noxious knock-out fumes, minimizing the visual range of those without infra-red sensors, and chocking those organics without breathers into submission.

As the combat began at its earnest, with Moira unleashing a barrage from her bolter and the HK-Guards jumping into the fray with the Iron Knights, HK spoke up to the Sith crew,
"Lay down and surrender, and you will be spared."
Soon enough he jumped into combat as well, swaying and twirling, the white blade of his lightsaber slashing here and there, sending the Sith crew flying every which-way with stuns and blunt damage of training blade.

His Guards moved in similar fashion, jumping from target to target in swift, precise strikes, bladedancing on the bridge as their leader commanded.
It wouldn't be long now before the bridge was theirs.

Moira's own process of elimination continued unabated. The Sith remnant soldiers put up a fight but ultimately the outcome could not be in doubt. As for the declaration that if they were surrendered they would be spared, doubtless HK was sincere in that. Moira was certain Kerrigan would have been less 'humane', which made it ironic that she thought herself better than the Sith.

Regardless Moira was not the sort to be merciful. She might not have bladedancing training and was perhaps less of a duellist, but had the training and the expertise of a killing droid. Ejecting a barrage of rounds from her bolter that pounded the guards, she engaged the Sith troopers closely rather early, superior physical strength and her chainsword delivering the technology of peace through violence. HRDs were, when it came down to it, unsubtle constructs. A distillation of all the cold hearted cruelty and viciousness of organics with none of the redeeming features.

There could never be any mercy of compassion in those lifeless blue eyes, so Moira slew. Bolter rounds pounded stormtroopers into crumpled irrelevance, when the magazine was clicked empty she simply moved with speed beyond the human norm and as a stormtrooper took aim she simply grabbed his blaster aside, his arm getting broken in the process as she twisted it, and spun him around, arm tight around his neck as she fired his own gun to take out two more guards despite him struggling against her chokehold. Then she unceremoniously broke his neck and kicked his still vertical body into another soldier causing them both to tumble to the ground.

The strike of a crimson lightsabre was suddenly met with one of her trophies as it ignited in a blur and as sparks of electricity cackled across the open palm of his hand, trying to break the contact to his advantage by blasting her with lightning, she grabbed him by his robes and, her strength too overwhelmning, she threw him into a console. As she approached him bodies rose and were thrust through the air at her, to be cut aside by her blade, then suddenly she found her arms immobilised and twisted strongly, the creak of metal being heard as those annoying mind pincers seized them and pulled hard.

Eyes flashing in annoyance she sought to break free as the dark Jedi sought to quite literally break her arms, unable to move them to grab ahold of her weapons, then finally, when the hold of the Sith seemed to waver for just a moment, grabbed ahold of a grenade and threw it, the explosive detonating in mid-air due to a telekinetic push, showering her with shrapnel. But then she had already launched herself at the Sith knight and crashed into him, her full body weight bringing him down with a crunch. Grabbing ahold of his throat with a damaged hand she unceremoniously crushed it in her iron grip.

HK moved across the battlefield from target to target, delivering open-palm strikes to knock the soldiers unconcious, his white blade coming in a parry with a Knight's blade, blocking the weapon in its way before his strong metal hand delivered a strike to his solder plexus that shattered armor and send him back, quick reflex tore the hilt of Sith's lightsaber from his grip and deactivated the weapon.

The battle was just as one-sided as the rest of the boarding party, while the Sith Knights were strong, so were Moira and HK in their own way, and with the Remnant troops being in a fight they did not really wanted to be in, not when being underpaid as they were, things quickly went South for the Star Destroyer. The droid scanned about, many of the Remnant were knocked unconscious, still alive, just as many were dead, slaughtered brutally by shots from a bolter or a slash from a vibrosword or Moira's chain-sword.

Finally, the droid found who was looking for, jumpy and frightened, the captain of the ship was dodging and ducking, trying to find cover and stay out of combat.

HK moved low, and quickly, moving across the bridge, he jumped over one of the consoles, his lightsaber deactivating as his arm collided with the man's chest, he gasped and chocked at the sudden attack, droid's arm wrapping about his neck in a choke hold, pulling him to the ground as HK landed in a sort of crawl, chocking the consciousness out of the Captain.
"Sleep. You will live."
He spoke calmly to the Remnant Commander as the man tried to claw at his metal arm, attempting to pull him or his armor plates off of him, something to use as a weapon. It was too late, his eyes closed and he drifted off into forced sleep.

HK released him and turned him over, cuffing him he would lift the commander up and over his shoulder.

He looked over the bridge as the gas was dispersing finally, their forces victorious, some of his men were wounded, some were dead, he would mourn their losses once the mission was completed.
"Gather the prisoners and get them to our shuttles."
He commanded to one team of Iron Knights, handing the Captain over to them, they nodded as they begun to hurry about the bridge, looking over to his four guards, he gave them a nod.
"And you gather our dead, the Sith corpses, and make sure the wounded are able to make it back to our landing zone."
They nodded simply, in unison, carrying out the orders.

HK stepped over a corpse of a Sith Knight whose throat has been brutally crushed, coming to a console that controlled the shield systems, he pushed commands on the display.

There would be a hum about the ship as its shields deactivated, soon enough the transmission would echo on their channels,
"We have taken the bridge, shields are down, the ship is ours. How goes with the reactor?"

The Tulak Hord's shields came down, and the Contruum's guns, individually small but very numerous, slammed into the nearest turbolasers. Guns across the Star Destroyer began to stop firing, shuttles and escape pods began to jettison and navigate their way out of the asteroid field, all was well.

"This is Rekali to all strike team members. Let the escape pods go. We have the ship, and our buyer will be here soon."

"Hell no...really?! Already!?" He stopped shooting at the runaways. He checked his HUD, saw that it was all true. "Aedan how's that cutting?" He said [member="Aedan Miles"] he was joking around with the guy. "Hey it seems...Sith suck." He said in a open channel.

The last round had been fired, the shields were down and the bridge was theirs. They had assumed direct control, the crew bent to them. Or was dead, knocked unconscious, whatever. Moira could have actually used live prisoners for her purposes, but that could be done another time. The Iron Company soldiers were busy gathering their prisoners and leading them out towards their shuttles. Moira would have wondered to whom they intended to hand them over, given that the Sith had 'retreated to the shadows'.

Of course, there were a few Sith Lords with whom Moira had done business, but it was doubtful they would reveal themselves. However, the human replica droid was, you might have guessed it by now, indifferent. Suffice to say the prisoners could look forward to far more humane treatment than would have been meted out to them if it had been Exarch Kerrigan leading the assault. "The armoury should be on the level below based on the blueprints. It is bound to be well stocked," she said impassively as the soldiers carried out their orders. Nonchalantly stepping over the corpse of Sith stormtroopers and knights, her chainsword and armour slick with the blood of the wicked she moved down to the armoury, which was on the lower level from where they had just come from.

Presumably the Iron Company would want their share of the loot. Moira did not care, in this she did not mind sharing and it was not like she could transport it all for herself. A security console affixed to the heavy blast door was overridden by some quick wireless slicing work, the benefit of being a sophisticated super computer. With a hiss the heavy blast doors gave way and opened up before her, revealing shelves upon shelves, weapons racks upon weapons racks. Guns...lots of guns.

Blaster rifles, grenade launchers, Gorgon web rifles that were especially useful for incapacipating or capturing force-users and thus of particular utility, heavy duty grenades, baradium, flechette cannons, heavy repeaters, even a chainsword here and there, and a great many other toys. To the victor go the spoils, as they say. It was shopping time - no one wanted to get in the way of a human replica droid on a shopping spree. Good thing she had super strength and all that. She did not waste time and quickly started stacking repulsor crates with death dealing toys and baradium.

"Roger that, letting escape pods go, I am moving my troops back onto the dropships."
He would respond to Ember quickly in a transmission, hearing [member="McNeal"] on the open channel, he would quip back,
"Not even a Sith soldier fights well for a fight they do not believe in, plus hit them good, droid efficiency."

He would look to Moira then, giving her simply a nod and following her into the armory he simply noted the way she could wirelessly splice a console, it would be something he will have to watch out for.

Looking around he took inventory of the room's contents quickly, opening up a channel to his troops,
"I am inside the armory currently, I need a team of engineers to move some of its contents to our ships, pretty much an example of each of the weapon inside, and there is some baradium here, I want all of it."
"Roger that, sir."
Response came and he quickly nodded, walking over he would pick up one of those Web Rifles and a Chainsword, two pieces of technology he was more interested in. There will be some fun retro-engineering done back on Abregado-Rae! Or just copying the design.

Meanwhile, the Iron Company troops were clearing the hangar area, corridor towards the turbolift, and the bridge. The hangar was becoming filled with corpses of the Sith, the troopers and Knights alike being moved towards the landing zone, laid to rest by the mercenaries who have removed their masks, closed their eyelids, and crossed their arms at their chest, returning some of their grace in dead. Same has been done to any Iron Company troops who fell in battle, while the masses of Remnant Troop corpses will be left behind on the ship, their fate determined by Ember or whoever would get the Star Destroyer at the end of the day, the corpses of Sith Knights and Iron Company were being loaded onto the dropships, they would be transported for a proper burial.

The prisoners and wounded have been loaded as well, and any Protectorate weaponry the Iron could leave behind was taken, the durasteel covers packed up onto the dropships, they were pretty much all ready to leave.

Only thing left for them was the sweet, sweet loot, and to cater to that a team of engineers would pass through the doors to armory, giving a nod to Moira and HK as they went on their merry way to start some looting.

"Hey I what am I going to do now??" He said in the open channel. He was alone now, in some hall way. "Damn I ran far." He mumbled to himself. He looked at his HUD, and saw he was a few level below the armory. "I'm a few levels above you HK, I can hit this elevator and be there in a few to help." [member="HK-36"]

The droid nodded simply, answering back as he watched his engineers and Moira work,
"Well we are done, pretty much, come to my level with Aedan, get some loot, and we can all get to hangar and get out of here, celebrate the end of battle."
He would quip, going back to watching the armory get searched through, he wondered why they haven't used any of these bad-ass gadgets during battle. HK would slightly tilt his head as he contemplated.

Stepping out of the shuttle bay came Jared Ovmar, Lord of the Fringe bla bla bla bla we all know this guy. He had been contacted for a possible buy, seemed like there was a Tulak Hord captured and they needed a buyer. Probably picked him because his company made the damn things, so Jared took the bait and set off to look at the thing.

From the outside it did not look very damaged or anything, which was always a good thing. Seemed to be one of the new designs, which was even better.

After being led for a while by one of the assistants/soldiers/partners of Ember, he finally met the man himself.

“Rekali, I pressume? Jared Ovmar, well met.”

The words came with a nod, and an extended hand to shake.

He'd spacewalked over from the Contruum in beskar'gam, found his feet and warmed up in the recently scarred hangar bay. Now he took a good solid look at the Sienar rep and shook the proffered hand.

Wonder how much this joker's worth in cuffs.

"Aye, I'm Rekali. Welcome to the good ship Blank Check. Little joke there. So. Two hundred mil sound fair? Your merchandise returned to stock in darn near pristine condition."
