STANDARD FEATURES

ADVANCED SYSTEMS
  • Comfort: The ship is built for comfort.
    • Excellent interior design,
    • Fine tuned atmosphere and temperature controls,
    • A closed off luxury bedroom, which also has its own large holoprojector with holonet access and additional storage underneath the bed. Access to personal bathroom and kolto tank.
    • A complex but user friendly comms system,
    • Most rooms have holonet or comms access unless otherwise de-authorized
    • Good Cargo hold which can be sectioned off for items requiring special conditions.
    • Full Kitchen and dining Set
    • Smooth movement and landing, with both steps or ramp.
    • Weaponry are mostly designed to auto-reload, but restocking would still have to be done manually. This reloading system can still take time however.
  • There is a room which is filled with medical equipment and space for operations and study.
  • Interdection countermeasures help avoid getting caught during hyperspace travel
  • Hidden weaponry for aesthetic purposes, will come out if engaged in combat.
  • Upgraded thrusters/engines for greater speed
  • Cloaking system helps to avoid detection, at the cost of notable shield loss while in stealth. And does not completely prevent detection.

  • Internal Security system: The Shadow Bringers have multiple, decorated, Blast Doors. This allows the ship to lock of portions of the ship should someone manage to make it past the entrance. This also allows the ship to use its internal atmosphere and temperature control to poison, freeze, overheat, or just completely vacuum out a room, in order to kill or incapacitate those inside it. If that wasn’t enough, there are hidden miniature turrets in the walls and floors that can be extended to rapid fire on intruders. This is all available via private coded controls on the cockpit which would have to be pulled out from a side cupboard and then unlocked. This would of course be overridden by the integration system should it be used.

  • The ship features an Alchemy Ship Integration system. The system was based on a more direct, but considerably altered, version of the The-Generator. However the results are considerably different. And their relation to one another should simply be referred to as being
    “Partially inspired” by. This allows the user to become one with the ship. In many ways it would be like gaining a new body. They not only gain utter and absolute command over every system and sensor that the ship possesses, but when truly integrated they become so one with the ship that they maintain the abilities they had while using their own bodies. Allowing them to simply perform those same abilities as if through the ship, though uniquely organic abilities like Force Healing would not exactly heal the ship still due to its lack of organic parts. This integration also vastly expands their awareness and senses through the force, making them even more capable of space combat. This unique heightened control and interface means that the Shadow Bringers lack many of the interface weaknesses most ships do with their pilots.
    • As an additional bonus, the respective owners (Vash to his and Lucas to his) are capable of commanding their ships remotely. However, this is often at the expense of considerably lessened senses and coordination with it. It is still a notable use.
    • Integration system overrides essentially all other systems of the ship.

STRENGTHS
  • Designed for comfort, with detailed temperature and internal atmosphere control, more cushioning, and smoother internal design and decorations.
  • Hidden room in which prisoners can be hidden
  • Cloaking_device allows it to go mainly undetected unless someone is looking for it with certain sensors.
  • NAV-RH1 Interdiction Countermeasures Package helps avoid getting caught into interdiction fields
  • High graded weapons systems
  • Considerable speed
  • Particular room is equipped with modifiable equipment to allow considerable medical procedures and study, including restraints.
  • Good storage space
  • Advanced Internal security system
  • Alchemic designed integration system allowing incredible use of the ship otherwise too difficult to manage. This room can be hidden.
  • Due to the use of blood inside the systems of the ships. Only Vash or Lucas can control those systems, (each to their own ship). This also grants them a considerable connection to the ship, even when only flying it manually or outside of the integration room.
  • Extra resistance to radiation and EMP/ION weaponry due to Agrinium and Duraplast
  • The Solar Ionization cannons are designed to be the heavy hitters of the ship if it gets into combat, so that it can take on enemies of a higher defense then its own.
WEAKNESSES
  • Integration system is reliant on the room being able to use the force.
  • Ship can’t be summoned/controlled through the force if either one of them (user, or ship) are not capable of doing so at the time.
  • Stealth system greatly reduces shields defensive ability while up, resulting in considerable vulnerability should it be hit (on purpose or accident).
  • Ship may still be noticed by some magnetic detectors.
  • Going through certain types of shielding can cause blips that may show that it passed through.
  • Lower maneuverability than other ships of the same class, partially due to the presence of the stealth system requiring compromises.
  • May be noticed through the force by some, especially those who are sensitive to feeling the darkside.
  • If Vash or Lucas were to become lightsided, the Integration system for them (respectively to their ships) would become seriously hindered in proper use. As it is a creation of the dark side, and inherently is meant to be used through it.
  • Agrinium lining is often damaged in combat and would have to be repaired. This also means that it reduces its resistances to radiation.
DESCRIPTION
The Shadow Bringers are a set of two ships, however the Persistence is the first sister ship allowing further personalization for the following design. A coordinated effort between lucas-harvey-white and vash-walker to create ships that were able to be controlled through the force. The Persistence features an alchemic creation that allows Vash to become one with The Persistence which was already a fairly admirable freighter. The integration allows a unique level of control over the ship. It is well equipped for combat should it be needed to do so, incredible speed and considerable weaponry, as well as the integration system, make it a force to be reckoned with. However, it has lower maneuverability which could leave it at a disadvantage against more agile fighters or missile weaponry. For this reason it is equipped with flares as well as a minelayer in order to attempt to dissuade fighters from trying to close in on the starship, as getting close could potentially mean getting hit with a mine or the flak guns which were mainly meant to help defend against projectiles. Meanwhile Solar Ionization cannons and Warhead Launchers provide the primary offensive measures. Overall the ship however was designed to provide comfortable and convenient transport across the galaxy, but able to enter a fight. The stealth system is a matter of uncertainty, as it can help getting around space undetected to avoid conflict, but at the risk that, if detected, it could be much more easily taken down due to the heavy reduction in shield capacity.

We have an issue.

Characters refer to NPCs & PCs.)
