Here, within the Jewel of Corellia, the greatest spaceport in the galaxy can be found (or so the locals boast).
A city of beautiful aesthetic design, it is a destination for the wealthiest denizens and travelers, near and far.
There is much to see and do, from the famous Ship Museum, to the galactically famous Coronet Stock Exchange.
For those seeking to build their wealth, Coronet offers the chance of a lifetime!

Yet, beneath it all, there is a shadow to this city of splendors... a black heart hidden within this sparkling gem.
At the grand bazaar, Treasure Ship Row, one lone man, Thales Raynor, finds himself at the Fel Swoop cantina, waiting for opportunity to shine.

Of course, opportunity is never easily attained, and often at the cost of great peril....

Sitting in the shadows of the Fel Swoop cantina, Thales Raynor looked into the half-empty (or was it half-full?) mug of Corellian Whiskey sitting on the table. He touched the mug lightly with his right hand, watching as the lights flickered and distorted in the mesmerizing liquid. His left hand remained planted on the hilt of one of his Echani vibro-swords. Scattered on the table were various charts and formulas for chemical concoctions he had been musing over.

As of late, Thales had been down on his luck. After losing a shipment to pirates in the Outer-Rim, he was forced to lay low while others stepped up and began eating up his contracts. When the shit-fest finally settled and he reappeared on the scene, most turned the other way. For several months, Thales had tried the clean road; keeping things legal and legit, but now he feared he was forced to consider the alternative. If he couldn't get any trade with the honest vendors, he would have to seek out the less conspicuous contracts. Besides, it wouldn't be his first time smuggling a run here and there. But this time, goddam it, this time he'd make it permanent. And he knew he would never win back favor with his parents. They were dead to him.

Perhaps he could go back to supplying the underbelly of Corellia with the shitty drugs he produced back in his University days. Before CorSec forced him to act the mole. Yeah, right... that was a good one. He almost broke out in hearty laughter at himself. What an idiotic idea that was. He was taking a risk just showing his face around here. The Fel Swoop was the heart of the underbelly, "hidden" yet completely conspicuous. You were either with a gang or at the mercy of CorSec because the gangs had everyone paid off at this place. Unless you were someone with no affiliation, dumb enough to stick your neck where it didn't belong. Well, that was him. Dumb enough to put himself out there.

He picked up the glass and drank deeply, enjoying the burn as the liquid ran down his throat. A few more of these and he'd be ready to forget. After-all, that's why he returned to Coronet City.

To forget and live again.

Aeshi rested her hands on the grips of her pistols in the shoulder holster and strode into the cantina. The Fel Swoop cantina was an Establishment, capitalized, as much as CorSec or Corellian smugglers. Granted, this place was more akin to the second one.

She paused just inside the door and swept her gaze across the seated inhabitants. Hard looking types, definitely criminal, she guess. Probably representatives from a variety of gangs, but that didn’t bother her. She carried enough firepower in her two Morellian Enforcer pistols to annihilate several speeders without reloading. And when it came down to it, she’d been living on the edge of the Outer Rim where she’d tangled with the First Order and the major cartels out that way. Swoop gangs lacked the influence and power that wealth of governments and intergalactic syndicates could throw around. She had three notches on ships console to prove it- each one was a Star Destroyer or other equivalent capital ship she’d helped take down.

As her eyes adjusted, she took a seat at a table and waited. This was their turf and she would let them make the first moves. The power dynamics here were different and it would do no good to offend them when she didn’t have to.
