Description: The Peragus-class Corvette is an aging stalwart on the civilian market. Recently refitted with the latest technology Defiance Consolidated Multipurpose Manufacturing offers, it was originally intended as a heavy corvette for offer to local defense fleets - the ship in question originally fitted a powerful mass driver, and still fits ordnance tubes for use in engaging enemy threats from long range. The mass driver was replaced with the civilian-standard weapon of the SBeam beam cannon, providing the ship with significant bark for its bite. With the formerly civilian-legal Massassi-class Corvette having been returned exclusively to Sith service, the Peragus is now the premier heavy corvette offered for use by various galactic powers.
