Pentastar Alignment | A Union of the Imperial and the Corporate.

Overview of the Alignment:
From the Faction Description.
The Pentastar Alignment is a combination of economic power and old Imperial order and structure. Created from the minds of a Fleet Admiral, Wandering King, Templar, Confederate, and a Businessman from Serenno, the Pentastar Alignment capitalizes on the idea of unity between people and freedom to do as one would wish within its borders. A
A faction that allows true freedom in one's choices, it does not restrict any species from careers in military branches, such as Imperial orders of old did, nor force users from a civilian or life in government like the hypocritical republic had. Within the Alignment, businesses are encouraged and supported by the idea of a strong corporate sector, while also keeping a tight focus on order and defenses through a structured and ordered military.
With its symbol being two five-pointed stars overlapping, it takes the best of the Imperial and Corporate sectors, combining them and creating a place where a person's decision is their own. Supported by the minds of a forgotten force order known as the Templars, it seeks to provide a fresh and interesting new power to rise as part of this galactic chess game.
What Are We?
In simple terms, we are basically the bastard child of a union between the Empire and the CIS...
This means that while we take influences from both those canon examples and of course the canon being that we share a name with, we do have some unique features you will not find in either Empire or CIS-esque factions. For example, they can include such things as a society based on Imperial structure and titles, while still containing a focus on economic expansion and freedom. The biggest difference you will find though is the abandonment of the Human Centric focus that most Imperial factions are known for. This was done to allow greater freedom and growth within the space occupied by the Alignment as to look better in the eyes of those absorbed by them.
With that in mind, we are split into five branches, to make things easier.
The Navy, The Army, The Government, The Templars, and The Civic Sector
While the first three are self-explanatory, and branch into subsectors like our Pentastar Enforcers, Patrol, and Stormguard, there is the last two that need some explanation.
The dark Jedi order of old is being replaced with a reformed Templar Order, headed by Krest. This is another alteration done to step into a more stable environment due to the fact of Dark Jedi generally being volatile and not meshing with the idea of Order normally. This of course also replaces the inquisitorial aspect that the order in canon had brought and replaces it with a more police like and peacekeeping force.
The Civic sector is the leftover bits that don't fit into the other four branches. Namely Civilians and Corporate elements. This branch includes the Civic Militia, a national guard of sorts that protects trade fleets, act as the police alongside the templars and pretty much handle all the daily workings of the Alignment from hospitals, power stations, schools and so on. This is the life and blood of the Alignment's prosperity, and as such are treated as an equal branch.
Politically we are also a non-interventional faction in terms of intergalactic affairs. This means that while we will expand, it will be slowly and through stories only that make sense for our direction. We are still imperial, which means that military expansion will occur, but we are also corporate based which opens up more than one direction for us. When it comes to alliances, war, and treaties, such things will not be approached without prior reason or background for such.
Why Should You Join?
Besides being a bastard child of the Empire and the CIS?
Well, first of all, we allow you to do whatever role you wish. Now keep in mind, this is the freedom part mentioned above in the overview. We want to give you the option of putting your character in whatever place it fits best, be it cross-specialization into two branches or complete devotion to one of the branches. This decision, in addition to the abandonment of the human-centric aspect, was done in order to allow greater variety and leave people to decide on their own what they want to do.
In addition to that change, the large majority of the Pentastar is still just the same as people remember it to be. This means that while we don't have the stormtroopers in name that most Imperial groups do, we have an elite force known as the Pentastar Enforcers. This was done out of an interest in creating a new and unique aspect to an elite force. (One that can hopefully hit their targets.)
What about those of you that want droids and CIS stuff... well guess what the Pentastar uses.
In addition to the age-old Imperial designs we know and love, the Pentastar Alignment is also known for using old CIS tech, as well as droids. This creates the rare opportunity to have a character who is not only in an Imperial structured system but also to fight with and along droids as well as your fellow organics.
That is why you should join the Pentastar Alignment. If offers a unique experience that is not held by other Imperial or CIS-esque factions, with some changes to the original to create a fresh and more welcoming faction. Sure it will have its kinks, every faction does, but the versatility of the idea allows for you to be able to adapt and still feel at home rather than be forced out of a place where you otherwise enjoyed being.
IF you have any questions, post below and we will answer the question to the best of our ability.

I will more than likely be dabbling with the commonwealth for a bit. But i would definitely like to be a part of this when it's ready to go.
Are there other people on board?
