DESCRIPTION

The Pendant of Saurav'ix's Oath is a bone-inlaid charm, once gifted to Kiev'arian warriors who swore eternal service to Saurav'ix, god of death and war. During Kiev'ara's height, these pendants were semi-common among soldiers and oathbound champions, serving both as spiritual wards and grim reminders of the god's promise: fight until your last breath, and you will not be forgotten. When Kiev'ara fell to the Rakata, most pendants were lost among the petrified corpses and ruined battlefields. Now, millennia later, only a handful survive,

The pendants glow faintly in the presence of death, a haunting reminder of Saurav'ix's domain. Their powers are subtle but dangerous: they bolster endurance, siphon vitality from corpses, and project fleeting whispers of the fallen. Yet each use corrodes the soul of the wielder, drawing them closer to the god's shadow.Rare and unsettling, the Pendant of Saurav'ix's Oath is not a weapon but a tether to a long-dead god granting fleeting strength in battle while demanding a terrible cost.

SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Graveglow: Pendant glows softly when near the dead, intensity scaling with proximity and number.
  • Oath of Endurance: Temporarily sustains the wearer through otherwise fatal wounds until their task is completed (wearer collapses after).
  • Harvest of the Slain: Absorbs faint vitality from nearby corpses, invigorating the user.
  • Lingering Echoes: In mass death sites, the pendant projects whispers or fleeting wraith-like shadows of the fallen.
  • Dark Side Attunement: Amplifies aggression, focus, and endurance when drawing on the Dark Side.

STRENGTHS
  • Battlefield Resonance: Stronger in warzones, tombs, and graveyards, the pendant's powers amplify amidst death.
  • Dark Endurance: Allows the wearer to resist collapse from mortal wounds long enough to finish an oath or fight.
  • Fearsome Presence: The aura of death instills unease and despair in non-Force sensitives nearby.

WEAKNESSES
  • No Physical Protection: Provides no defense against weapons or damage.
  • Corruption: Prolonged use erodes sanity, instilling paranoia, rage, or whispered compulsion from Saurav'ix.
  • Fragile Relic: Ancient pendants may be cracked or brittle—risk of shattering if damaged.
  • Light Side Vulnerability: Jedi or Light-aligned Force techniques can neutralize or destroy the pendant.
  • Life for Power: Invoking stronger effects drains the user, shortening their life or leaving necrotic scars.
  • Force void zones: the pendant refuses to operate in force null zones or other force supressent areas
