Description:

As the war with the One Sith raged on, the need for a smaller, lightweight weapon for close quarters combat was recognized. Taking aspects of current blaster weapons and coupling them with a compact, revolutionary design, the PDW-M1 Neutralizer was born.

The M1 features a compact and ergonomic design rarely seen in modern weapons on the battlefield. The weapon is made of light, but strong, alusteel with durasteel components along with plastics in areas to keep the weapon light and maneuverable in combat situations. The design features a stock that folds underneath the weapon when not in use and a unique, rear mounted power pack making reloading easier and faster. The tibanna gas canister is located in the folding foregrip and is easily exchanged in almost any situation. The weapon has a very accurate, very high rate of fire and an effective range of approximately one hundred meters, though the weapon can reach out to around two hundred fifty meters before the blaster bolt dissipates. Overall, the weapon is light, ergonomic and simple to use, making it very user friendly. This, coupled with the high rate of fire and the excellent accuracy of the weapon make this the Personal Defense Weapon of choice in the G.A.R.

The Neutralizer has a few downsides, however. The weapon is less accurate than most standard, assault blasters/rifles over longer ranges and, in fact, has a shorter maximum range than such weapons. The PDW is also less hard-hitting than assault blasters/rifles, though compensates for this with a far higher rate of fire. Lastly, the Neutralizer can be used one-handed, but this greatly reduces accuracy.

Just speaking as a Factory Judge real quick, please don't post in other folks' submissions. The only people that should be posting are the subber, the FJ reviewing it, the RPJ/Admin giving a secondary look, or anyone they tag for an outside opinion.

Honestly, I kept thinking for some reason that those would be self evident with an SMG/PDW, honestly. My bad. Just the basic stuff for this type of weapon. Lower range than most assault blasters/rifles, probably not as powerful as a standard blaster/rifle, not quite as accurate, etc. I'll toss those in.

I'm a bit worried about this weapon, specifically it's mass production, but with low damage per shot this should be okay. Pending Approval.
