  • Aquatic: For its aquatic use the PBT is water/air tight meaning that it, keep crew safe from harmful gasses and traverse terrain other vehicles could not.
  • Round Face: Despite the rather odd-looking face this cylindrical design makes it a littler harder then expected to penetrate the front
  • Just like the B1; Typical of CIS this craft is cheap, easy to produce and maintain allowing for the regular strength in numbers tactic that the CIS uses so often.
  • Anti-Infrantry: The back mounted gun makes the light tank able to take on infantry with relative ease. When supported by ground troopers with it's small size wreak through infantry defenses and help with an assault larger craft may have trouble with

  • Front Lines: The PBT is a patrol boat a light tank at best not suited for taking on larger craft and participating in extented/open combat for long periods of time without proper support.
  • Mines: The underside of the craft is not as well armored as one would expect, (mainly to allow easier repair access) and a well places shot or mine mad disable it's repulsion lifts with relative ease.

Trade Federation Patrol Boats, now refereed to at the PBT (Patrol Boat Transport similar to the MTT) were boats used by the Trade Federation in the many lakes, rivers, and seas of Naboo during the Invasion of Naboo in 32 BBY. They had a crew of two B1 (or two organics) battle droids and were armed with two laser cannons front and back. A flotilla were used to patrol a prison camp on the Solleu River, their small size allowing for easy maneuvering around the terrain. In addition it can be used to transport small amounts of cargo if needed (due to being bases off the MTT). Now though with the resurgence of the CIS and its new war machine the COG once rediscovered when shifting through old data records has been pressed back into service. This time it has received a small shield generator to keep it a least a little up to date with more modern craft and can now submerge under water if need be like the Ostracoda-class gunboat.

With the ever increasing war machine of the CIS and need for craft to deal with patrolling and certain terrain and marine environments the PBT was put back into into production.

[member="Kurenai Yumi"] Hello there! Nifty little sub you've got there (rimshot). This looks pretty comprehensive, but I would like to nail down a few items before we can proceed:

  • Informational point: This appears to be a vehicle rather than technology, so I've had this moved to the vehicle subforum.
  • Please correct "Deferences" to "Defenses" to match the template.
  • The description indicates that the original model is piloted by B1 battle droids, but the crew section doesn't specify. Can this be piloted by B1s, humanoid living beings, other living beings, other kinds of droids?
  • If living beings can pilot the submarine, depending on the type of being they would likely need oxygen. What kind of air supply is there? Can you describe the general time it can remain submerged without the crew asphyxiating in the description section? (If this can only be piloted by droids and this point is made clear in the rest of the submission, this bullet point can be disregarded)
  • Please include the shield generator referenced in the description as a strength and special feature; if this is a type of technology approved on Chaos, please link the approved submission.
  • What is "Homoginis Armor"? I'm unable to locate a description of this on Chaos or the Wookieepedia. Can you please describe it in the description and if it provides a significant strength, please include it as a strength.
Please tag me when you're ready for me to review. Thanks! :)

Thanks for moving this to vehicles that was a mistake on my part, changed defelctors shield to just the cannon not special stuff, field the defenses part and removed the homogeneous part of the armor. Also stated that organics can pilot the craft, but I think you have thing's mistaken the craft is not a submersible, more a light hovercraft that can go on water if need be, more a LAV/landing craft not a submarine, but since you have said such you gave me the idea to add that anyways.
