This Qektoth biotech revolver, the only one of its kind, is a miniaturized bio-plasmatic gel launcher, which is a classic Qektoth weapon. Around 849ABY, the Qektoth joined the Kathol Outback faction, which later became the Outer Rim Coalition and then the Outer Planets Alliance. Qektoth biotech weapons and their derivatives have caught on within certain circles. This gun is one example.
The Jedi Padawan Kale Seleare won this weapon in a gunslinger contest on Zonju V. It took a liking to him immediately and wanted to be carried everywhere. The disreputable Rodian who handed it over said its name was Pateesie, which loosely translates to 'Buddy.'
