A new line of equipment was being brought to the fore-front by Akure, pioneered by Ostanes and several other minds he trusted. [member="Isley Verd"] of House Verd, self-styled Manda'lor of some Empire or the other. [member="Draco Vereen"] in his new venture of Gotal'Veman, a departure from the behemoth of ArmaTech in a more custom and elite venture. And now, he had reached out to a former classmate so to speak. [member="Cerita Sarova"] was one he could trust, and one who still maintained and held to the ideals that Rave had drilled into both of them. The bracelet and jewelry that healed his memory still sat in a display stand on the desk as he awaited her.

Something in his eyes showed wear. A depression that had never been there before. His constant mental battle with the entity known as Obeah was becoming more than he could bear. So was his increasing drive to create, to make. To leave behind a legacy for others to follow behind in, and warning signs so they wouldn't follow too terribly close. Sins he had committed in his life were such that he was truly beginning to wonder if the power and knowledge were leading to self-improvement and advancement he quested for.

Before him sat a hide of terentatek leather, and he was quietly sewing with a malraas bone needle as he waited.

She was getting grouchy.

Nobody had told her that managing corporations would be as time-consuming as it was. Not that it was a really fair comparison, considering she didn’t just need to manage them, instead she needed to completely reform the way this particular entity was working. Because while it might be edgy and ‘cool’ to have a roaming fleet raging across the Galaxy, extracting valuable resources and producing everything on the fly… it wasn’t exactly cost-efficient.

So she was attempting to bring change in that, but it would be weeks if not months before she would get anywhere with that.

In the meanwhile it was time for a little side-project that would hopefully help her get her mind off of things. [member="Ostanes"] always had a few interesting projects here and there, Cerita didn’t always have time to help out, but when she did?

It were good times.

"Uriel." The greeting came as she entered the room. Behind her the two Qo’saarai Tuk’ata bodyguards of her settled near the wall, they were her permanent shadows these days - something she hadn’t liked when it started… but now she appreciated the muscle.

It helped during negotiations.

"I hear you needed a fresh mind on things?"
