• Destroyer: Like their predecessors, Parlemian II-class heavy cruisers are very well armed for ships of their class. Equipped with a great balance of turbolasers, concussion missiles, and smaller laser cannons, they pose a serious threat to warships of all sizes.
• Pursuer: Powerful, fuel-efficient engines allow Parlemian II cruisers to chase down blockade runners and other fast craft.
• Flagship: Each Parlemian II is equipped with a full command and control suite, allowing them to serve as flagships for smaller fleets and naval formations.
• Anti-Starfighter Platform: Compared to the Parlmerian I-class heavy cruiser, the Palmerian II has a significantly heavier point-defense armament, making starfighter and missile attacks against the cruiser or nearby allied ships very risky.

Straddling the line between cruiser and Star Destroyer, the Parlemian II-class heavy cruiser is the workhorse of the First Order Navy. Like its predecessor, the Parlemian-I, the Parlemian-II is a superb multirole warship capable of fitting seamlessly into any fleet or formation.

On their own, Parlemian-IIs make great patrol craft due to their high endurance and firepower far above that of most infiltrators or pirates. In small formations, Parlemian-IIs can form relatively inexpensive battle groups capable of threatening even battlecruisers by concentrating their firepower. Parlemian-IIs themselves can serve as command ships for smaller flotillas and task forces where larger Resurgent Mk. III Star Destroyers either unnecessary or required in more urgent engagements.

When working together in a larger fleet, Parlemian II-class heavy cruisers and Resurgent Mk. III-class Star Destroyers make a formidable pair. With their high speed and dense anti-starfighter armament, Parlemian-IIs can effectively screen the space ahead of and around a Resurgent, allowing it to focus on larger targets. In return, the Resurgent’s immensely powerful armament allows it to take down battlecruisers, planetary shields, and large battle stations that Parlemian-IIs would struggle to defeat alone.

More commonly however, Palmerians are the largest ships deployed by the First Order in situations where a Resurgent Mk. III cannot be spared. Commonly assigned to planetary defense forces within the First Order, even a single Parlemian in orbit is often enough to pacify a world occupied by the First Order. If its citizens continue to resist, not only can the Parlemian bombard the planet from orbit, but it can also deploy up to 2,000 stormtroopers from its hangars, securing the integrity of the First Order with merciless efficiency.

Compared to its predecessor, the Parlemian-II has several notable upgrades made possible by collaboration between Alge Imperial and the Zakuul Industrial Concern. First and foremost is a more efficient central fusion reactor, enabling more power to be applied to onboard systems and shielding. As a result, the Parlemian-II’s point-defense armament was able to receive a major upgrade, boasting 50% more light cannons than the Parlemian-I. Furthermore, unlike its predecessor, the Parlemian-II has a proper electronic countermeasures system, noticeably reducing the effectiveness of missile strikes against the cruiser. Finally, the Parlemian-II’s shielding system is moderately stronger than that of the Parlemian-I, allowing it to withstand even the bombardment of true Star Destroyers.

Like the Parlemian-I, the Parlemian II-class heavy cruiser is intended to be affordably and rapidly produced, providing a capable workhorse for the First Order Navy.
